Six By Nico in Tower Hamlets

Mediocre at best, food looked amazing but taste was very bland and all courses were tepid at best, first course scone tasted stale, fish course over cooked but still lukewarm! When we told the waiter this at the end, he just replied oh I’m sorry to hear that but how was the service? Would definitely not go back or recommend

This is one of the cheapest options to have a six course set menu in London. The menu changes every 2 months or so. No wonder this place is packed and needs to be booked month in advance. Does it worth it? Absolutely! It is bustling, so very hard to hear what staff explains to you about the dishes, but luckily we had a menu that describes everything as well. All 6 of the dishes were great, and not shy on protein at all. There was tuna, sea bass, slow cooked pork and beef steak as well. We enjoyed the dessert the most, though. There were 4 different parts to it, each one interesting in its own way.

I really enjoyed the tasting menu, food was delicious and link to the Hollywood theme was fun and quirky. We added on the wine paring which was great! Staff were friendly and well informed, explaining each dish and wine serving well. We were told we only had 10 minutes left on our table while we were still drinking our dessert wine which was strange, I don't like to be rushed so I had to knock a point off for that. Overall, great value for money, tasty food and a great addition to Canary Wharf. I will be back again for the next menu!

Tried the Once Upon a Time menu. Each course was absolute divine and could not get enough of each dish. The potato in the first course was the smallest I had ever seen - I could have eaten multiple. The food came at the right pace. However, we were a little late so if we had all the extras, it would have been too rushed. All the food was exquisite. I cannot wait to go back and try another menu. Not the sort of place you slow down and relax afterwards as they have back-to-back bookings at the weekend. But plenty of bars to enjoy in CW afterwards.

Was already a fan before our visit! Customer service sent me as email as it was our first time and Neal was incredibly kind and helpful and even included a complimentary glass of Prosecco in our reservation because I had mentioned my partner and I were celebrating our two years of being together. Also a big fan of the concept of this restaurant! My friend recommended this place as she went recently with her partner. They change the theme every six weeks and when they went it was Alice in Wonderland, for us it was Ancient Rome. The staff were lovely and each course was explained very well! Delicious and beautifully presented food. Affordable fine dining, highly recommend!! Cannot wait to come back in a few weeks to see what the next theme will be!

Visited for my birthday after hearing nothing but incredible things and it couldn't have been better. Complementary glasses of prosecco for my birthday and the most incredible food. One of our guests was pregnant, and one had a nut allergy, and they couldn't have been better. Already booked for the Once Upon a Time menu. Value cannot be beaten - can't say enough good things!

Fabulous 6 course meal, very reasonably priced. We added on the paired wine course which we really enjoyed. Great experience being pushed out of our comfort zone and trying new food at Six by Nico. December was our second visit and we’re already planning our third.

This is a truly amazing dining experience. Six delicious dishes, wonderful taste combinations, really exciting. The waiting staff are knowledgeable and attentive - not too much. I heartily recommend this!! And for £37 per person it is amazing value! Seriously! GO!
