Fantástico Fish & chips guys.. triple comed chips next level oh and the chocolate pudding … wow. Family has the auberge menú but as en English Who lives in spain i need some Land and sea and it was fab.. thanks

Interesting and affordable experience. So you'll get a starter and main for 22£, which I consider is more than reasonable for a Michelin guide restaurant. The cuisine is close to Italian (plenty of vegetables, prosciutto, pizza, pasta, tiramisu). The pizza was one of the best that I ever tried. The service was prompt and helpful. Will go back for sure in the future.

Lovely meal with locally sourced produce and wine in a cosy country pub. We had the rotisserie chicken and the duck and both were very tasty, made with high quality ingredients, followed by dessert that was a very generous portion! Food came really quickly. Rose wine from the local Mallard point vineyard in the neighbouring village of Essendine was really fruity. Will come back again and bring family

Lovely Service. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I stayed in the Hayloft which is the most spacious of rooms. Would definitely stay again.

O.M.G. Our first time eating here and "What a 5⭐️ Experience". Not only was everything so tasty, but the 3 Course Special was unbelievably great value. Also the atmosphere and all of the Staff were fantastic. We enjoyed it so much, we have booked lunch here the following Monday, on our 3ay home.

Lovely pub with accommodation very tidy and clean in beautiful countryside. Good food and drinks to be had a little expensive.

Lovely tasting healthy food promptly served throughout our meal. They were extremely helpful to ensure I could fully access the table in my wheelchair. A most enjoyable lunch and I'll be back next week.

Had a wonderful meal, the best fish and chips and creamed peas as always. We sat in the covered outside area which was nice.

Our favourite place for any occasion or just a Sunday roast, the very best food with the most welcoming owners and staff. We absolutely love it here!

Sunday lunch with mum very disappointed none of us were impressed rude older waitress the younger lady was delightful ,but the food was bland and nothing special for a Michelin starred restaurant so disappointing. Can't roast potatoes may as well be boiled parsnips also need roasting. Wood fired oven obviously not hot. Pudding ok coffee bitter.

Stayed here on business. Room was of a very high standard and quiet. Food was exceptional.

The Six Bells is our go to restaurant for a fabulous lunch & we were not disappointed today! Excellent service, all the ladies are lovely, delicious food & a good wine selection. I would highly recommend the Beef Cheek & the Confit of Lamb, both melt in the mouth! We will be back very soon!

Went for Birthday dinner n drinks. Food was nice and service was to be expected for a Michelin rated restaurant . Do think it could have an for a drink if not eating.

My partner booked here for an evening meal as we were away celebrating my birthday. We arrived on a cold, rainy evening, and walked through a pretty outside terrace into the main building. We were blown away by how cosy and gorgeous this place was inside, and it was a relief to get in the warm! The fire was blazing, it was tastefully decorated and the atmosphere was buzzing. The waitress informed us that we were seated back outside on the terrace. This took us by surprise as my partner had pre booked a few weeks prior and no one informed us. We enquired if there was any space inside, to be told there wasn’t. The terrace has been done beautifully, and has a gorgeous feel aesthetically. We were the first out there to be seated and it was just so cold! The heater was put on and we were given blankets, but a windy and wet evening in mid March and the terrace isn’t fully covered with areas exposed inbetween the glass. Had we known we’d have dressed more appropriately and it would’ve made the evening nicer if the terrace had been prepped earlier ready for diners (heaters on ready!) We kept our coats on and made the best of it! The food was good, we ordered pizza which was really yummy and had a really nice wood fired base. We had a combo of mixed fungi and meat, it was so delicious. Chips were very nice too, as were the green veg on the side. Staff were polite and friendly. We were just too cold so opted out of dessert and stopped by the local supermarket to pick something up instead. Would definitely eat here again if we were in the area, seems a very nice establishment.

My friend regularly comes in this restaurant along with his family so I heard great recommendations about this place. My friend and I ended up dining in on Tuesday early evening and luckily it wasn’t busy at the time and we were seated immediately. As it was my first visit my friend recommended that I try the rotisserie chicken. I really enjoyed it and was extremely full afterwards. My friend had crispy pork belly and it looked really good! The additional bread with butter and pickled mushrooms were a cute extra too! Prices were quite steep but fairly reasonable as the food is really great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend this place now to my friends and family to try their rotisserie chicken. Having observed some dishes being put out, I’ve been convinced to come back again to try their other dishes as they all looked amazing!

Booked for a party of 19 and was blown away. The service was fantastic and we couldn’t have been better looked after better. The food was amazing and unlike previous large party bookings it came out quick, fresh and hot. Oh and it was tasted absolutely fantastic! Couldn’t recommend the 6 Bells highly enough.

This lovely pub/restaurant/ hotel is situated in a very pretty village. We had a great meal, the staff were very friendly, polite, accommodating and professional. We would definitely recommend them and would visit again when in the area. Thank you guys 😊

Visited here for lunch with a large group. The service was good and quick. The menu wasn't very varied and had a lot of game meat options so if you aren't into game it reduces your options.

Roast dinner was lovely! Really nice pub with a cosy atmosphere and very busy 👍🏼 Friendly staff and good service. Perfect for a Sunday dinner!
