Excellent service! We came on Saturday 21 September for a late lunch. Chiara (the waitress) was very friendly and welcoming. She greeted us with a big smile and explain the menu and specials very well. We ordered pizzas which were very good. The dessert (tiramisu) was very nice. The waiter was very professional and courteous. We will recommend Siracusa to our friends and family. We will be back! Thank you.

This a beautiful restaurant which we come to almost weekly since we moved to Brentford. The food and drink is amazing and never disappoints. The staff are always accommodating and friendly, great location too. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves a good Italian!

Very welcoming waiters, ideal location, good wine, but the pizzas were simply not good. Probably among the worst I have ever eaten. What happened ? This is really sad because pizzas are not very difficult to cook.

My wife wasn’t feeling well but really wanted pizza so I stopped by to see if I could do takeaway. I got a Margherita pizza and spaghetti Carbonara with chicken. First off, the staff was so nice and welcoming. Second, it was about 15 minutes before closing but they never made it seem like there was any problem serving me. Third, the pizza was excellent Italian pizza and the spaghetti was excellent. Great service, great food, good prices. You couldn’t ask for better.

We come here whenever we are in the area (maybe 3 or4 times a year) and are always warmly welcomed and recognised. We had a wonderful meal here on Valentine's night despite it being a full restaurant. We came again in March and can not fault it. The steak was cooked to perfection and was full of flavour. The ravioli melts in the mouth and the cocktails are amazing. We hope to be back again soon!

Family birthday celebration night . The service was amazing , food was delicious even had a specials board as well . Agon the young man was very attentive and made sure he looked after us well . Had a great time will definitely return . The whole team are very professional .

This lovely restaurant serves wonderful food from perfect pizzas to delicious deserts. The pizzas are well topped with fresh ingredients and the pasta meals were full of flavour. The wine is reasonably priced and we have always had prompt, efficient and very courteous service when we have visited in the past. It was the same friendly staff again this time and we look forward to visiting again when we are next in the area.

Came here with a friend … long story about how we should have gone to a gig in July and the only hotel we could book was Brentford … I broke my foot and we had to postpone until September for a catch up. This restaurant is fantastic; the food was fresh and delicious, the cocktails were amazing and the service was great. It’s really hard these days to find an authentic, flavourful and non-pretentious restaurant, but this place fits the bill perfectly. If I’m in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here for a second time, or to recommend it to others. Bill was around £120 for two starters, mains, a bottle of nice wine and two cocktails plus two double amarettos and service charge. Very reasonable, we thought.

Great location for Italian food with outside seating overlooking Brentford Lock. Food was freshly made and excellent as was the service from Chantelle who was on her first day. It's nice to have good service with a pleasant smile and a friendly attitude - she will be a great asset to the restaurant. Food was reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit.

Pleasantly surprised in Brentford, I was staying at the Hilton Syon but wanting to try some restaurant nearby. I tried the burata and it was very fresh, also had a lasagna and finally the salmon. The service is very friendly and competent and the food authentic.

Had family birthday here it was fantastic . There were 8 of us all had different drinks and different foods .Nothing was too much , the food was great the service was first class. We moved into the area about 6 months ago and have used Siracusa as our go to restaurant ever since. The food is wonderfully authentic, and the service is lovely, always greeted with a smile and a chat! Easily the best restaurant in Brentford! Looking forward to spending our summer evenings by the canal here!

I am not one to write reviews but after what I experienced on 11/02/2022 I feel people need to be aware. Service - Wasn't great as you are served by multiple people and it gets a little confusing but overall everyone was nice enough (manager probably needs to step up a little). Food - where the nightmare begins... we was a group of 12 when booking the table we was advised £10 deposit each & food was to be ordered in advance not a problem at all and everything was booked smoothly roughly a month in advance. When we arrived we was seated and drinks came along with starters (those who had ordered), all starters went down well and was nice according to those that had then. Mains all food was lacking seasoning and well just flavour... My carbonara was literally spaghetti and lardons!! One of the group ordered steak which was more fat that meat which got sent back for the chef to say 'that is how steak is meant to be'. One person in the group had pizza and they said it was really nice, the side of chips was a little disappointing though genuinely 8 chips (was a laugh or cry moment). DO NOT order garlic bread I am 99% sure there was no garlic in the restaurant let alone on there, in the 6 portions ordered none of us ate more than a quarter and at no point did anyone ask if there was a problem, it was tasteless and I am sure I could have taken someone out with it as it was so dry and hard. Finally bill time (I just wanted out buy this point, still starving :( ) - they didn't deduct the deposit to start, then we had a nice £35 service charge and then to top it all once we started to look all of the prices they had charged was WRONG higher obviously... when questioned was told 'they don't manage the menus or prices & the cost uplift was for the cost of living rising' which as I am sure most would agree is just not acceptable and most people would never realise. On a positive the prosecco was really nice and was worth the £8 after that stress.

Was walking by decided to pop in for a pizza and a glass of wine or two. Service as always was first class food was great as usual . If your passing pop in its great .highly recommend a visit .

We have mixed feelings about this place, the food was hot and the spaghetti tomato sauce that seemingly had the salt pot dropped into it was soon replaced for my partners chicken milanese to my grandma's lasagna complete with unchewable burnt bits was OK. Two desserts the panacotta and the chocolate fondant were excellent. The biggest disappointment was the bill with gratuity saying 10% when in fact it was 12.5% and the answer was, "you are not the first to point out the discrepancy with our till". It is bad enough to be bullied into paying a "gratuity " but to be ripped off with something that amounts to fraud is a real kick in the teeth. Needless to say we won't be going back and I advise you to go to the restaurant opposite.

The restaurant is located in a nice and quite lock and the venue is large and appealing. The food was good and tasty and the service is professional. We had burrata and fried calamari as starters and the quality was great. The pizza was crispy and flat, and it was prepared in a scenic electric owen located just near the entrance. The restaurant is a good address for a relaxing Italian dinner in an area which doesn’t offer great culinary opportunities.

Came here for my friends baby shower and it was so lovely. There was 18 of us and the staff were all helpful and so accommodating. They made us feel very comfortable and there was no rush to eat. The food was lovely and had a nice ambiance. Thank you for making it a memorable evening for us all!

An excellent restaurant, thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will most certainly be back again soon. After seeing there Instagram page, I thought I’d go and try their special of the day which I had come across (gnocchi duck Raghu). For mains I. had a simple Americana pizza, which was a great portion size and really done well. I love the fact that the pizzas were made in a traditional stone oven - you struggle to find that round here. I was incredibly impressed by the portion size and the food itself - it was really well done and one of the best gnocchi I had ever tasted.To top it all off, the service was incredibly attentive and really friendly. The location is also really lovely by the river. I was really impressed with my experience here. By far one of the best places to eat in Brentford. Whilst staying at the adjacent Holiday Inn Brentford Lock, we looked for a local, easily to walk too restaurant & Siracusa fitted the bill perfectly.The restaurant is situated beside the canal and serves Italian food, not just Pizzas.The food is of a very good standard and the staff are all very attentive.The restaurant is of a medium size with a lovely ambience We were very pleased to be advised from the restaurant after we had ordered a béarnaise Sause for the meat course that they would not be happy themselves to serve this as the sauce had split and so recommended an alternative , this we found comforting with the quality they offer , not just a production line restaurant Would recommend 100% and we will return one day

If you fancy a tasty pizza and thin and crispy oven baked pizza is your style this place is for you. Conveniently located on the Brentford lock you have some good views too. The menu has other delightful treats on offer too and not just pizza. Friendly staff are there to help and make your dining experience a great one. The food taste great and won’t break the bank either. I keep going back here and have never been disappointed.

Have been to this little restaurant on Brentford Dock about three times now

Me and my wife visited London for the weekend for our anniversary. As we stayed close to Kew Gardens we found this delicious italian restaurant. My wife ordered beef carpaccio and I ordered a carbonara for starter (even though they do it only as a main course they did for me a mini version as a starter). As a main course she got the cod and I got the duck. Everything tasted so amazing. In the end we shared a cioccolato fondente; it was magnificence. Almost forgot their Chianti Classico was more than lovely.

Siracusa is in such a convenient position to were we frequently stay when we are in London after many bad meals we thought we would give it another chance, I'm sorry it failed again and the staff don't seem to care

Ordered ravioli for starter, however when it arrived it was practically drowning in a sea melted butter, and therefore inedible. For mains I got pasta with tomato sauce, the tomato sauce tasted so strong I couldn't eat that either- I wish I'd sent it back. Ice cream was also bad- barely tasted of anything! Even the water tasted off.

Was my local restaurant (Italian) I tried to have a decent meal 3 times, as it was close to my home. 3 times there was a problem with undercooked meals lasagna, pizza. Oso bucco. 3 times I complained, 3 times they apologized the third time I said enough.

The staff here were all very friendly and it’s great to see a proper pizza oven. There’s indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the dock.

I've been to this restaurant on several occasions and I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. If you're veggie and in the area looking for nice pizza, go here. You will not be disappointed, there's several options on the menu and if you're lucky enough to be more than one vegie in the group who doesn't mind going half and half with you, then you'll get to experience even more loveliness. I always look forward to eating here and last week I tried the most amazing desert the Affogato, absolute heaven for an after dinner treat that's not too big and for when it's just too hot for a coffee. Can't wait to go back again.

Was staying in Holiday Inn close by snd wandered round, was warm night so sat outside by the lock. Ordered lasagna and a mixed salad. Lasagna was very good, plenty of filling as well as layers of pasta as well as nice thick mozzarella topping. Gentlemen who served me talked me out of ordering bread which i thought was strange but when i saw the size of the lasagna I understood why.

Syracusa is well situated close to Brentford Lock. On entering the restaurant at lunch time, my eye was drawn to the authentic wood-fired pizza oven - a promising start, creating a good atmosphere. We had a great window table on the lock-side of the restaurant and were immediately given menus and a wine list. The range of dishes offered was as one would expect - the usual range of pastas and pizzas. I chose the grilled prawns as a starter and they were perfectly prepared. This was followed by linguini alle vognole which fully lived up to expectations. I forget which wine we had but I do remember that it was competitively priced. To summarize - really good value quality Italian dishes, nicely presented and backed up with good service. My only criticism was that the maître- d' could be a bit friendlier, but maybe he was having a bad day.

Affordable restaurant, pleasant staff, very good appetizers and main course. From time to time it might be too loud to have normal conversation. Overall worth visit if you like Italian cuisine.

It is lovely to have a place to sit next to the river, outside on a sunny evening. Upon arrival, we asked for a nice jug of water with ice (as they don’t do Pimms). I had the vegetable pasta which was very nice, although they were quite sparse on the sauce quantity; but nonetheless I really enjoyed it and would choose it again (maybe just asking for a bit more sauce). I also had garlic bread was a little dry, however I asked for some garlic oil and the waitress immediately understood that the garlic bread was a bit dry and offered to make a new one. Although, it was very very nice with just the garlic oil addition. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and will be back soon!

It’s been a while since I’ve been here but enjoyed my last visit. It’s got a nice atmosphere and in a good location close to the Weir. There is some good food on offer and the antipasto was tasty. My colleagues enjoyed the vegetarian version too. My main course of duck was a bit disappointing as there was hardly any mash to go with it. A shame as the duck was beautiful. The cheesecake to finish was spot on and a good end to the meal. Service was pretty god for what was a big group of people.

We came here for a team dinner and were a group of approximately 20 people. The initial service was a little slow but later picked up and were great for the rest of the night. They made sure to check dietary requirements and were also able to make suggestions. The food was delicious and fresh! I would definitely love to come back with the family.

I had been to this restaurant before and had a lovely meal there. However I was blown away by my second visit. The food was exceptional and so were the Aperol Spritz. Service was second to none. Also very reasonably priced.

Last minute booking for a large group easily accomodated. Food choice is vast found it we all couldnt decide what lovely dish to choose! Food was faultless (and there were fussy foodies in the group) arrived in good time we were not hurried at any point.

Following a recent stay in Brentford, we were looking for somewhere to eat one evening and searched the internet for local eateries, but struggled to find something suitable for all.

My wife and I were staying at local hotel and strolled into Brentford for some dinner. We found this gem in a stunning waterside location. The food was lovely (a particular highlight being the massive tiramisu) and service was great. If this restaurant was in our home town we'd be regular visitors!

We are a group of 8 members. We took a 3-hour guided tour of Syracuse. Anna Maria was waiting for us . The tour was interesting and professional and pleasant. An excellent way to get to know the central places .The city is very beautiful. Worth a visit !!!
