The restaurant seemed to no longer exist.

Very good food, super friendly staff, would recommend and will be buying takeaway from them again.

This is an excellent thai takeaway in Barnstaple. Good authentic Thai food -I had the vege thai green curry and egg fried rice. The fried rice was not the standard mediocre offerings of a normal takeaway - it was beautiful rice with chunks of fried egg and fresh spring onion ! Huge portions .The front end of this takeaway is a small asian supermarket that sells frozen and dry food. Would definitely recommend. ( note - as a first time customer, i wasn't quite sure where to park and how to get there but all good in the end !).

Silver Tree is now take away only but they still have the Thai/Oriental shop where frozen and shelf items can be purchased at a reasonable price. The owners are very sociable and always ready to point you to the correct shelf. Most of the time they come out and select what I want rather than try to point me in the rite direction.

It was one of the worst Thai worst food I’ve ever had. Firstly they do not make their curry fresh, so substituting fish paste from the curry was a straight No. The curry was bland, lacked any taste and the tofu pieces were limited. The takeaway boxes were terrible, the curry spilt before we even got home. I would recommend not buying your Thai food from here.

Enjoyed a take out from here whilst visiting in the nearby area. Food was delicious! Authentic Thai. 100% recommend the panang curry, incredibly delicious! Great portion sizes, we had a curry each but shared rice as also shared sides, more than plenty!

Outstanding. We are from Yorkshire and have lots of thai restaurants but this was amazing. Honestly the best we have ever had. Brilliant portion size, fantastic flavour. I had the beef masaman and the beef just melted on your tongue. Squid was huge and tender. We aim to go back asap👌

Take away, delivered on time and it was excellent. Having been to Thailand many times I can tell you the food is rich but very good.

Big portions, very friendly service, delicious food and reasonably priced. Will definitely eat here again! Also they are very allergen friendly (gluten in my case) and you can download their menu in advance to check any allergens in their dishes.

Just had a pad Thai chicken and a pad Thai prawn. So SO delicious. Great portion size. Really authentic and definitely the best Thai take away in North Devon. Aroi Mak 😋❤️❤️❤️

Don’t judge a book by its cover.. Looks like only a supermarket from outside but the takeaways are served at the back. Honestly, THE BEST sweet chilli sauce I have ever tasted. And the pad Thai is the best I’ve had outside of Thailand. Huge portions and really reasonable price.. such a hidden gem! Also incredibly helpful menu for those with dietary requirements.

The restaurant has merged into a Thai supermaket. So no fine in option anymore. But food is still authentic but on the sweet side. The shop is a little hard to find on Google map and the supermarket sells lots of different Chinese and Thai food. A little restaurant that really cooks Thai food although on the sweet side but those looking for real spicy should look no further. The duck spring rolls are good and the other fried noodles dishes are not oily which was not easy to make without burning them. The papaya salad tasted just like that in Thailand (on the sweet side). Reasonable prices, Thai food aren't supposed to be expensive.

Great flavour, each portion could feel 2 maybe even 3! Initially thought a little pricey for take away but actually very good value and well worth every penny. Thanks very much, will definitely be back!!

Long time since I ate there but I visit the Thai supermarket at the rear. I love the seaweed snacks. Great place for spices and noodles etc!

Fabulous food , always enjoyable

We've been having takeaway from Silver Tree since lockdown began (at least once a month) and have never been disappointed. Today I decided to try something different which was the Lamb Massaman Curry. This has easily got to be one of the best things I have eaten from this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious. My wife has the pad khing everytime and has always enjoyed it. The lady who serves us is always helpful and cheerful and makes it a pleasure to deal with.

First time ordering food from silver tree, every single bite was cooked beautifully and delicious. We will definitely be ordering again 👍

This is a nice little restaurant with character and a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. We chose this restaurant because it caters for individuals on a vegan diet. Everyone at our table loved their food, omni and vegan alike.

Beautiful decor, including a well grown bonsai-style plant at the front of the restaurant. The bar looks amazing. Attention to detail all around, including pretty cutlery and down to how the napkins are folded. Friendly staff and last but not least great food. I recommend Tom Yum soup.

Excellent, authentic Thai for and if you enjoy cooking Thai food go in the food shop at the back. The staff are very welcoming.

Wasn’t that impressed if I’m honest Crispy squid in Pepper sauce to start. It wasn’t crispy and the squid was completely over cooked. Chewy and rubbery. King prawn green curry for my main. Prawns were lovely but I wasn’t loving the rest. I little tasteless and over powered by chills.

Authentic Thai food, cooked from fresh ingredients much of which comes from their own Oriental Supermarket (in the back of restaurant) Service is friendly and relaxed, always happy to explain the dishes and give advice on whether it's spicy, etc. We visit regularly and the food is consistently of the highest standard, beautifully presented and obviously cooked with passion. If you are a fan of Asian cuisine, you cannot get better in North Devon. They do takeaway for collection too.

Absolutely incredible authentic Thai food. Full of flavour. Quiet restaurant but well worth a visit. Finish off with a couple of Chang, and it'll feel like you're there. Definitely recommend.

Great authentic Thai food. Cooked with Thai ingredients and you can select hot hot you want it and I do not mean temperature wise. You pay a little extra, but you get the real thing.
