Silver River in Fenland

Made a previous order and they sent the wrong order. Couldn't eat it went in the bin. No problem we all make mistakes, phoned them they said I'd get a discount next order happy with that. Just phoned up to a not very friendly lady to make another order, she said no record of their mistake. If people say they are going to promise something then do it. Won't be ordering again on principle.

Have food from sliver river most weeks. We think it's the best Chinese in Whittlesey. Food always warm and fresh. Delivery is quite often really quick.

Fast, friendly service. Consistently good fresh food. Their Malaysian dishes, especially the dry beef curry, are excellent! They only take cash or bank transfers but food wise, it's my favourite in Whittlesey.

Piping hot , lovely . Always go to Feng Wah , never again .

Best chow mein and sweet & sour Cantonese style chicken around. Food is always hot and so flavourful, at a great price. Only downside is no card payment availability, just cash or bank transfer, but we come prepared now so not an issue. We’ve tried other takeaways in the area and none beat this.

Delicious food, good portion sizes.

Get rated highly, but 3rd time, I've tried here with choosing different dishes and found to be well priced, but for me, lacking in flavour. Also they seem to use handfuls of cashew nuts in many of the dishes like they are going out of fashion.

Ordered special curry and they sent curry sauce instead so we rang they said they will send a curry out with in 10 mins but half hour later still not here and the chips where under cooked and scrappy little chips

Ordered a couple of times, mostly chicken chowmein. Can't complain about the noodles. But the last order went really bad, when I offered this place to a friend who stayed with us for a night, to get food from here. He had roast pork and roast duck with fried rice. The pork was cold and old. He could not eat it as he didn't like its smell. So he ate sandwiches from our fridge at the end...

Best Chinese takeaway in Whittlesey. I was very late picking up my order and eventually rang to tell them. To my pleasant surprise, they made sure the food was fresh and piping hot when I collected it. Excellent customer service and tasty, top quality Chinese food. 10/10

Used silver river for over a year now, just ordered for the first time since they reopened and was not impressed! Noodles were saturated in grease, it was actually dripping off of them! The curry was bland...never again!

Better than a lot of Peterborough Chinese takeaway

Just ordered from here for the first time, food came within minutes and at such a good price. The food was delicious and better than others we have tried in the area. This will now be our regular!
