Silver palace in Cardiff

Nice food and decent service, however the young member of staff doesn't pay attention on the phone or in person. Apart from that can't fault this place.

Ordered food from here and it was delicious. Order regularly and have never had a bad meal! Really good food, good service and fast delivery.

Just Had a Takeaway won tonk soup don’t bother beef so chewy. And brown grease slurry. Ribs. Just pure fat. Popadoms about the best. But salty.

Ordered a takeaway for the 1st time. Food was ok. I ordered the Thai Red Curry although it didn't taste like Thai Red Curry at all. Whilst it was nice it was more of a sweetish garlic chilli dish. The Singapore vermacelli noodles were very rubbery and didn't taste of anything other than chilli. My husband's crispy beef was nice and very crispy. Delivery was very fast. Food was ok but they need to know what a red Thai curry is. Probably won't go back.

I have used this take away for Chinese for over 40 years still the same standard clean food all ways fresh staff very helpful friendly all dishes are cooked while you wait or you can have delivery this year I had a Chinese calendar free it was oriental and pretty the staff are wonderful I would never go any where else immaculate also the portions of food are big and prices amazingly cheap

Ordered last weekend with my partner. Took a risk due to the lack of reviews. We were surprising happy with what was delivered. Everything was very enjoyable however the chicken cantonese style was just too sickly to even eat a quarter of the amount given. But that is the only negative of the whole experience. Will definitely be returning in the future. Definitely recommend to others.

Our repeat takeaway premises. Food is brilliant. No grease and very tasty. Service is rapid and friendly. The chicken chow mein is awesome.

I use Silver Palace around twice per month, after discovering it via the phone app 'Just Eat'. The Cardiff area has a lot of competition in terms of Chinese takeaways, but the main reason that I've stayed with Silver Palace is mainly that the speed of delivery can be extremely quick - I'm talking about as quick as 20mins. There are other Chinese Takeaways in the city, where you can regularly wait in excess of 1 hr - which in my opinion is too long. The delivery driver is very polite and helpful, and if the delivery is ever late, he is very apologetic and does offer an explanation, which is a good attitude to have. I recommend the House Special Curry, which is the normal mild curry sauce, with roast pork, large prawns, chicken, beef and mushrooms.

First time I used this Chinese and I'm very impressed, the food was delicious and piping hot, delivery was very fast and the driver was polite and cheerful. Will definitely use again, highly recommended.
