Shuffle Shack in Sheffield

Playing shuffle board with family was fun enjoyed doing something different didn’t try any food wasn’t there long enough there’s no car park

A Great experience, until our time was up at which point things felt really quite rushed and pressured to leave

This is such a friendly place and the shuffle board is great fun. I can’t review the food as haven’t eaten there. My main reason for reviewing is how incredibly kind they were to my son and his friends. They went to play on a Saturday afternoon and my son’s payment card was declined (I think because he has a young person’s bank card which is set up to decline any transactions that look unsuitable for under 18s, eg paying in somewhere that is also a bar). They waived the cost rather than making it stressful for the kids. I will of course go back and pay myself, but there wasn’t any pressure from them to do this, which I thought was incredibly kind.

Shuffleboard was really fun to try with friends. If you're new to it as we were I'd recommend booking a double slot as it took us a while to get to grips with the rules and the game itself. Atmosphere overall is great. Venue is served by multiple bars with good music. Nice outdoor area which would be great on warmer days. We enjoyed the pizza and fancy fries here which were delicious. There were lots of staff on shift during our visit and sadly not many customers at the earlier times but perhaps it gets a lot busier later in the evening. The toilets were not well maintained unfortunately. In the ladies one toilet had a whole loo roll dropped in it and in the other cubicles there was paper over the floors and things didn't feel particularly clean and tidy. This could be easily rectified by more regular checks and clean ups of the toilets.

We loved playing Shuffle with friends. A good drink selection, including cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beer. It's a great thing to do for all ages. We didn't have any food, but the pizzas coming out of the kitchen looked nice.

nice selection of drinks on tap but the place is not in good condition - there are some exposed screws near the shuffle lanes with no warning in sight of them and I caught my jumper on one of them and it has left a hole in it. The lanes also feel like they arent level and have much higher friction in some areas, some of the sticks also feel janky. Overall I wouldn’t come back for the shuffle but might do for the bar. 3/10

Brilliant spot, lots of fun, nice crowd of people

Giant shuffle board with a couple of drinks what’s not to like. Didn’t try food so can’t comment on that.

We paid £30 for 55 minutes of shuffleboard (12 noon until 12.55) but only got 43 minutes worth due the venue not opening until past 12 o'clock. Then we where told that somebody was going to show us how to play, we waited a few more minutes before realising this wasn't going to happen so we just started playing ourselves. After 43 minutes of play, we were told we had to come of the lane because it was booked again for 1pm. Plus I feel that £47 for three 10" pizzas, a bowl of fries and three pints of diet coke that was more ice than drink was steep (the fries were lovely though). We were also 30-40 minutes waiting for food to arrive.

The game of shuffle was great, but the place needs some updating.

Loved it!! Had so much fun, was great value for money. Frozen cocktails are really worth trying. Lovely bar staff and felt family friendly, but we enjoyed it as a couple.

Shuffle Shack is part of the Picture House Social, so you can also read my review on that, too. Shuffle Shack has its own bar, so you don't have to keep trekking all the way through the building for a drink. There are 4 lanes, and the staff will teach you how it works, and there are also leaflets around in case you need a reminder. It looks like a game you wouldn't be bothered about or is "too easy," but once you get playing, it's annoyingly addictive. Definitely worth booking a lane and having a go. A couple of beers helps too 😉

Fun activity! Wish we had a bit longer on the lane, as we only just started getting into it at the end.

It's like no where else I've been to before! It's a little dark, and I the basement and a bit hipsterish but the shuffleboard is great fun! Lively bar, some decent food and a great place to visit!

Shuffle shack is great. Have been a few times. Gets very competitive. The staff are really helpful and very good at getting people off the lanes in time for you to start your game.

Really liked this place. Definitely worth trying if you've not given it a go. Perfect for a group of say up to six per lane. Great fun.

Unprofessional set up, venue is dirty, staff loud and obnoxious, food is okay but only after they tell you your preferences are sold out. Expensive drinks.

Absolutely excellent night at Shuffle Shack. They brilliantly hosted a professional networking event for me, catering to around 40 people, with great food and drink, at very reasonable prices! The venue is perfect for parties, networking, team outings, with the cool activities they have at the venue and plenty of spaces it's ideal! The team were really good on the night and were always looking to help out where they could. Would highly recommend!

Excellent venue, great to have a local floor shuffleboard! Only one in UK outside London. Great fun with friends, better alternative to bowling. Excellent condition shuffle & good value. Bar is fab but would reccomment getting drinks before your session starts to avoid queues. Great atmosphere and there are other things to do in the venue which is great for making an evening! Will definitely be shuffling again!
