Shish Grill in North Hertfordshire

Had a mixed doner and had a very bad stomach the day after will not be visitting again.

The orders were great. Even though I asked for sauce and salad, they sent them separately, which made me very happy. Thank you

The food i ordered chicken burger meals and chips&cheese. The burger was disgusting. There is no Sauce in this burger. And the chips are like oily and no crunch. And the chips and cheese when i eating them i felt vomited yuck. I really disappointed shish grill

Great find. Fresh food, friendly staff and very generous portions! I had the Lamb shish and Halloumi special. Lamb was tender and the Halloumi was perfectly cooked, plenty of it too. I forgot to get a photo before I scoffed it down! Would recommend 👍

Ordered grilled chicken wing meal no salad £9.90 And medium Donner kebab £7.50. total price including delivery was £19-40, kebab was good, but if I ordered grilled chicken wings and pitta bread separately it would have been £2-80 cheaper, how does that work?

I ordered chicken doner instead I get some kind of reheated minced leftovers from day before , all overspiced and soaked in “orange” oil. Just disgusting and the “food” landed straight in the bin , as You have to be really brave to eat something like this. I have ordered couple of times there and it was all fine - this time they send me some reheated rubbish. Unbelievable that You think something like this is acceptable and you are not afraid to sell such a s_hit to the people. Disgusting!!!

very poor quality lamb shish im afraid, more fat and gristle than meat on both mine and my partners dinner, left us both still hungry and off to mcdonalds

Tasty and hot chicken special shish and rice, cold drinks with sauces it was delicious.

Perfect temperature really tasty

Words cannot express how awful the lamb and chicken Shish ordered. Both the chicken and lamb were dry and tasteless, when if properly marinated should be moist and flavoursome. The lamb was not tender but tough and full of fat. Would not recommend.

fafel overcooked to the point it would be better off using it as an ice hockey puc. cold chips due to late delivery. cucumber added to salad when it wasn't asked for. only good thing was the cheesecake which they don't make.

Today I went for lunch with family and given order for chicken shish and kids burger 🍔 but I thought it good but it's fantastic

I have not had a issue with shish grill before last night, me and my girlfriend got the platter for 2 with rice and meat the meat was lovely but I knew the rice was cold as soon as I ate it and about an hour after there I was over the toilet from 10pm till 5am next morning I then called the restaurant and he accused me of having alcohol and there kebabs wouldn’t have done that I laughed and hang up just making people aware

Great food as usual, delivered on time, dietary requests in notes followed perfectly. Unfortunately the driver failed to deliver the drinks this time though.

Chose here rather than our usual kebab shop and was not disappointed. Really enjoyed the food. Good quantity. Good price. Tasted lovely too. Been here more than once now.

Didn't enjoy this food at all. The lamb was ridiculously chewy. Kebab & lamb was too overcooked with black burn marks. Won't be ordering from here again!

I treated myself to the lamb ribs and they had hardly any meat on and were slightly burt - no seasoning either so didnt taste particularly nice, chips had zero seasoning on and were soggy from the veg being on them. Rice was obviously reheated. The bread that came with it was burt and rock hard so was unable to even try it. Won't order this again, especially for that price. Kids meals were lovely and good portion size so would order them again at a push.

We like our chicken well done and charred. They always cook it how we like. Takeaway tastes like sitting in a restaurant. Highly recommend.

The food was pretty cold , combo 3 kebabs was just the meat and 1 small salad and 1 pitta, they were supposed to be large meats but barely 1.5 portions. No pickled chillies or lettuce. Actual meat was very nice once re heated .

Really nice food today. Hot wings, rice, vegetable kebab ( hot starter) jalapeño peppers, Greek salad ( no olives which I would of liked) and fudge cake.

Had food from here before and it was really good This time though, I ordered chicken donner but got lamb donner when I dont eat lamb, the chips were unsalted and tasted older than they should be and the halloumi was not halloumi. it was just weird stuff that resembled halloumi. not sure we will order from here again after this tbh

I've been here a few time and the food is great. Today it took a while because it was so busy. Almost missed my train so I told one of the guys there and he had the meal ready straight away so I made my train. Such good service.

This place has become my go-to Kebab place. Lamb shish is amazing, fantastic Cacik goes so well with their flat bread and my daughters had a pretty decent pizza from here. All that and not overly expensive, spent just over £50 between 6 people. Highly recommend.

About the best kebab I've ever had. Worth every penny.

Phoned restaurant at 8.30 as app said it had been delivered and app said it left them at 8.10 but it’s now 8.50 and still no food. The restaurant said driver pressed to wrong button and the food haven’t left at 8.10 but would be 5 mins away from us it’s now 20 mins since first call and no food and called again they said 2 mins away and still nothing
