Friendly, welcoming staff that squeezed us in even though they were expecting a large group. The food was lovely. We shared a meze which was great but impacted our main meal as it was so large. Mains are tasty and come with rice, chips and salad. We shared a bottle of wine. The bill was very reasonable. It's a pretty restaurant with warm tones and lots of little lights. Definitely worth a visit if you like good food in relaxed surroundings.

Lovely decor. Very helpful and welcoming staff. We had the mixed grill and the chicken Iskender. Both were good and portions were large. My only reservation was that the chicken was a little on the dry side. The best part of the meal though was the cold mezze sharer for 2. The hoummos and tsatsiki were amazing as were the other dips. Really enjoyed the meal. Thankyou.

The food is all very good, a main course costs around 18 or 19 pounds. They close at 9pm, which is great in Liverpool. The service is attentive and despite being a Sunday night it was very full.

Visited here last night as a booking for another venue suddenly decided we couldn't order food only drinks from where we were sat! Super accommodating for 11 people on short notice, the food. My god the food. The table had dishes ranging from hummus, spicy sausage, pizza, calamari, mixed kebabs, chicken yoghurt flatbreads. EVERYONE loved their food! Super fresh, can literally see and smell the kitchen from the dining area, generous portions, hands down the best turkish bbq'd food we'd had. Thanks again for the polite, speedy and accommodating team that made our meal one to remember!

Some of the best food we have ever had! We went as a group of 11 and although it was a last minute booking they accommodated us perfectly. Unfortunately the place we booked prior let us down hence the last minute booking, but it was a blessing in disguise and this place was phenomenal. Every person with us enjoyed their food, one of our party said his pizza was one up there with one of the best he's ever had! We had starters ranging from chicken wings, spicy sausage, garlic bread and mains ranging from pizza, kebabs, mixed grills and everyone had a drink each and the price was extremely reasonable for the portion sizes! Bonus as you can see the kitchen and this adds to the whole atmosphere ot bbq grill 😋 Only issue is I wish we were local so we can visit more often!!! Big shout out to the team, thanks for having us!!

Great eats right in the center of Liverpool. Freshly grilled meat, quite large portions. Great served! It's worth coming by and trying it. ☺️

The mixed platter was really delicious, and the house wine that accompanied it paired well with the food. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable.

Great place to grab a warm, flavorful meal in downtown Liverpool. It's just down the street from the Aloft and a few other hotels in the area. My partner and I shared the koobideh kebab adana and hummus starter for dinner after catching a game at Anfield, and it was quite filling for two people. The food is incredibly authentic and the restaurant is decorated with photos of tourist sites around Iran. Service is fast and efficient. Definitely worth a meal or two if you're staying in the area.

Really good food, friendly server as well, knocked a star off because we booked for 8pm but were waiting to be seated until 8:30pm, could do with better organisation. Like I say the food and service was top tier though, will come back, but might just turn up half an hour after I book to make sure I’m not standing around waiting for ages.

This restaurant is quick, inexpensive, and has very good food. They will work hard to get you a table even if they are busy. I would highly recommend this place.

I got the mixed kebab grill which was served with chips and rice and bread. The meats were cooked to perfection on a charcoal grill. The food and meats were cooked to perfection. The staff were super friendly and the service was brilliant. The restaurant was cozy, the decor was different but lovely. Highly recommend this place. The meats are halal.

Passing by, liked the look of it walked in, got a table, asked the regulars what they liked, ordered it. Loved it. Very good. Would go again. Great extensive menu. Friendly staff.

Great meal ,busy but service good

Visited Liverpool with friends and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant where we had the most fantastic meal. Everything was so delicious. We had a couple of hot starters and a cold mixed mezze to share, all amazing, but especially the sukuk. For the main course I had the special mixed grill which was cooked on the charcoal grill everything was perfection, expertly cooked, tender, juicy and full of flavour. My favourite of the four meats was the adana. The accompanying rice, chips,pitta, and the salad were all perfectly delicious. But be warned the portions are huge. But best thing and I still can't get over how amazingly food value it was. Deserving 5 stars all round as the staff were all brilliant too.

Food was very good and really well priced for town. Thought the bottled beer was slightly overpriced but overall very enjoyable lunch.

Visited this charming little restaurant with work colleagues. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and photographs adorn the walls of some stinky scenery of Iran The service was of high standard. Unbelievable food , my starter was amazing and so was the main kebab dish I cannot fault this restaurant and will be back again and again

Very gr8 taste & very good service, excellent food

Called in for a quick bite to eat after a few afternoon drinks in town. Ended up with starters and main meal! Food was delicious, and the service, as usual, was friendly and quick.

What a find - first time in Liverpool & came across this gem of a restaurant after we had been to The Cavern Club. Kourtney, the young lady who served us was fantastic, gave use suggestions & even managed to get my other half to share platters! We shared the cold meze & halloumi to start & then the mixed meats for main course with a sneaky ice-cream thrown in. All I can say is - don't walk on by - the food is delicious, portions are very generous , service is excellent & everything is clean & welcoming.

Can’t fault it. Amazing tender meat, 1st class service, reasonable prices. What’s not to like? I found this lovely restaurant after a quick search on here. We visited on Saturday evening after booking online. It seemed very popular as people were waiting for tables. We will go here again when we return to Liverpool.

Freshly cooked food and plenty of it. Super friendly staff

We had an excellent dinner here. Nice to have something other than soup and fish and chips. We ordered the Chicken that came with fries and a salad, but I opted for the rice instead of the fries. No dessert since the portion size was large. The food came quickly, and our server was very good. I would recommend this restaurant and I suggest you make a reservation, since they do get very busy.

Our latest visit to Shiraz didn't disappoint. Despite a busy shift, Nicola showed us to our table. Service is always efficient and friendly, and Nicola always has a smile on her face. Food, as always, is delicious....I had the spicy chicken burger (my favourite), which was tasty as usual. Great food, great service and reasonably priced....you won't go wrong coming here.

I love this place, I was going here in the early days. I'm back again with a vengeance 4 times in 1 week. The food the service is absolutely quality. Staff are fantastic, so polite and friendly. The atmosphere is always so chilled.

Incredible place! Great food, atmosphere and value. Just up for a weekend break and this was recommended by some locals we bumped into and rightly so. Well worth a visit over the chains you find on the main streets.

The atmosphere and food was very mediocre. Food was very bland in general, have had better takeaways than this. Hummus was tasteless and salty. No concerns regarding service.

Absolute hidden gem this place. Went here with another couple for a catch up. The food is absolutely gorgeous, and the prices are extremely reasonable. My wife and I shared a king prawn starter, olives and bread - delicious!!! I had lamb chops for main - 5 indeed!!!!! So much food, I took 3 chops home!!! They did not go to waste. Staff very friendly and always on hand to make sure everything was okay and to serve you drinks. This bistro is warm, lively and always packed!!! There cannot be a cheaper bottle of house red anywhere in the city! We adore here. Be back soon, kindest thanks.

Whether you pop in the afternoon or evening this is the kind of restaurant you would want to visit for a meal and a chat. You are never rushed, they don’t time you you can stay as long as you wish. Well you would as the food is excellent It must go down as one of the Top Restaurants in Liverpool

We had the spicy chicken thighs and the mixed kebabs (chicken and lamb). It was delicious and the waitress was so friendly. Restaurant is small but I think that added to the atmosphere as it was really busy. The smells of all the other dishes being cooked on the grill were amazing. Just wish it was closer to home so I could go more often.

Honestly not perfect food,poor quality. Koobideh kebab was salty and bad taste. Customer Service, atmosphere was good . Two stars for food be fair.

Fairly informal interior, with strings of red lights wrapped around plants, and lots of posters of Iranian scenic landmarks. Not a particularly atmospheric restaurant , but the food was excellent. Good variety of kebabs and dips. The bread was nice, but a bit "fluffier" than I was used to.

Everything was good but the food was greasy and salty, especially koobideh kebab was not taste, I didn't like it.

Excellent staff, delicious food, really nice atmosphere. Should not forget the music that suits perfectly with the decoration. Definitely we are coming again, thank you for the tasty experience!!!

Un paseo por Liverpool es merecedor de tener una buena comida. Encontramos el lugar por la cercanía con el barrio de los Beatles así que entramos a comer. La recepción fue magnífica por la chica que nos recibió y durante toda la estancia siempre estuvo atenta a muestro servicio, nos recomendó un buen vino blanco y hasta tequila tomamos. Hubo una mesa de una pareja que nos recomendó los platillos que ese día probamos así que salimos del lugar muy felices por rica comida que probamos. En general, todo en general estuvo muy bien y aparte es muy recomendable para ir con toda la familia o amigos. Ubicación y precio también son muy buenos

Nice decor and good service but not amazing food. Both meats were not tender or very flavorful. The hummus appetizer and the hellim cheese appetizer were both very good.

This restaurant is greater than the sum of its parts. I asked the waitress for her recommendations. The spicy sausage starter and prawn dish for my main. Two glasses of house red and a jug of tap water. Absolutely smashed it. If you like ‘flavoured’ food order these two dishes. My interest is Persian food and these two dishes were really very good. I really would start with these two. They both have a kick particularly the prawns but they were cooked to perfection (something you rarely get in the U.K.) The service was quick and spot on with two young ladies watching to see if you need anything. In this day and age you just don’t see this type of ‘proactive’ service. I hope their management realise just how fortunate they are. This is the type of service you rarely get in the U.K. Well done one and all.

Amazing place, amazing service, amazing food and such great value. Not very often I can't find an area for improvement, even the wine is reasonably priced! Make sure your hungry especially if ordering the mixed grill, I've never seen as much meat on a plate for £25! The meat and prawns were so beautifully cooked, tender and full of flavour. Would have liked to have eaten here, but the waitress closed the restaurant at 9:30 while we browsed the menu outside intending to go in without any acknowledgement.

This place is fantastic, the chicken shish kebab is amazing, I enter the establishment, and the waiter knows my order to the letter, always go in here for regular lunch, such a lovely place.

Lovely experience, soon as u walk in you can see the smoke from the charcoal grill behind the counter, you know the grill good is going to be fresh, chicken skewers were spot on, Adana kebab was soft and juicy. We ordered Shiraz special pizza, but when arrived it had too many peporamis in it which we aren't fans off, but the taste was immense, we got a member of staff over to see what can be done , the lady was so polite and caring that she got us a veg pizza as a good will gesture and boxed the other one up for us, overall a great experience , staff are brilliant have no words how nice they are, specially the lady, wish i had got her name. only problem is the 2 seater table are quite small.

We were going to the pub across the road but it was rammed! So instead we called in Shiraz and so glad we did. Spotlessly clean tables, nice decor (loved the twinkle lights), great food, nicely presented, pleasant service, even had a cheeky Efs and nearly felt like we were in Turkey!! Defo the right decision to call in - judging by the number of people already in we were not alone!!
