Ordered the 'full english' for £9 and thought nothing could go wrong. The egg still had the white jelly on top, the sausage was very cheap quality with tinned mushrooms, beans & tomatoes. Solitary slice of bacon was the sole highlight. Coffee was extra so ended up paying £12 for a very average meal. Has the potential to be a good cafe, but the quality of the ingredients is poor and the prices high. Not much choice in Woolacombe so theres a captive audience....

This little gem is in Barton street right next door to a surf shop. I had a full English breakfast which was delicious my partner had a sausage and fried egg roll which was very good my daughter in law had a crispy bacon roll which she said was delicious. Would recommend for breakfast also dog friendly.

Discovered this lovely cafe last year and went back twice this year. We went for a walk from putsborough beach to woolacombe last year on a windy day on March luckily stumbled upon this cafe where i had scones and a pot of tea which lifted my mood and had my husband proposed to me after on the sand dunes in woolacombe beach. We went back this year and sat outside as the weather is lovely! Definetly recommend this cafe and i’d be coming back every year, make it more like tradition 🧡

Really nice cafe, love how dog friendly it is. We were the only people in at the time so our dogs had plenty of fuss and treats. We had a cream tea, scones were beautiful. Staff were really nice and friendly. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely return 🥰❤️

The food was stone cold except for the bacon and sausage. When I said I would pay for half, the man who served us accused me of scamming him. The black pudding was completely raw, and after I had left me and all of friends felt extremely ill. As a local I would not recommend this place to anyone and quite possibly the worst breakfast experience I have ever had. The food was worse than hospital food and has a chance of sending me to the hospital. A true disgrace.

Had a racism and unpleasant experience in here. We went in for a coffee with our two dogs. We brought along pasties that we bought from the other store - was planning to take the pasties home. Did not eat the pasties in the cafe, just put it aside. A man came out from the kitchen and told me off and accused me of eating an outside food. His tone was harsh and unpleasant. No wonder the cafe was empty. Definitely not tolerating this behaviour.

Well we went in at breakfast time and left at lunch time and about the overpriced breakfasts the sausage looked and tasted like it was cooked yesterday with a rock hard bacon with a soggy fat, cold toast and an egg harder then superman, two of our breakfast’s had dog hair in and a beetle under the boys toast and to top it off he bought out the knife and forks when we had finished and charged us £90 for the 6 of us

Seriously I pride myself in breakfast experience. This is by far the best fryup I've ever had. Sausages were unreal, bacon thick, black pudding was tasty. The whole lot was next level. Dogs allowed and close to the beach. It's the perfect place. It's just a shame it's 300 miles away, but I'll be sure to come again.

Staff real friendly, dogs welcome . Food okay nice to find classic cafe food in woolacombe however confused to we’re the prices were plucked from £14 for a large breakfast with no drink seemed frighteningly high as the cost a full English is on the low side. products used weren’t high quality either. None the less enjoyed are experience just maybe rethink prices?

3.50 for a can of coke!!! Come on... should at least come with a glass and ice at that price. £5 milkshake was also a little pricey for a crusha with cream and marshmallows. Food was good a only a little pricey and wouldn't have been bothered too much if it wasn't for the expensive drinks.

Nice dog friendly cafe with a lovely lady serving etc however feel that £3.50 for a can of Diet Coke is daylight robbery!!!! We ordered drinks without looking at the menu (stupidly) but never ever thought that a can of Diet Coke would be that amount. Completely unjustified. Food came quickly and was nice and our dog enjoyed a couple of dog biscuits that were given to her….it’s a real shame because we won’t go again knowing that the drinks are stupid prices!

We visited here recently. We were the only customers at the time. We did receive a friendly welcome. But we were disappointed when my partner asked for no mushrooms or tomatoes that there was no offer to have extra of anything else. Hey ho, we didn't ask! However, my partners egg was raw. Not just a bit of jelly, but some of the egg white was still clear 😳 Given how quiet it was, I feel that is not good enough from any chef!

1hour and 1minutes for breakfast. My husband really enjoyed his, but mine was pretty basic (vegan). If you have loads of time great, but if you have a hungry child with you find somewhere else. Tables that that arrived after us were served and finished eating before us and the reasons for delay changed from not having a big enough grill to being short staffed. They did advise there would be a delay, but we didn't imagine it could be this long or people who arrived after us would be served ahead of us.

Popped in for breakfast on a whim, so glad we did. The outdoor was really nice with a sea view down the Road, and the indoor seating looked clean and cosy. Coffee tasted great and the food was good quality. We opted for the 'Top Dog' and were surprised by massive portions. It also came with plum tomatoes, which I LOVE. Service was really friendly and it is great value overall. Pleased that we gave it a try as there are less places available for a cooked breakfast in Woolacombe at the moment.

I have been coming here for breakfast while I was staying in Woolacombe. Great food, coffee and customer service! Dog friendly. A small cafe so limited seating, but this makes it a lovely atmosphere. Just away from the main Street you avoid the hustle and bustle of everyone. Couldn't recommend more.

We arrived at 9.15 am as there were no other places open for English breakfast on a sunny morning in June. We were told there was a 45min wait but as we were limited for choice we sucked it up. Coffees came out straight away then 45 mins later the food came, two orders were wrong. Then found hairs in two of the plates of food from - I'm presuming from the other reviews - the German shepherd. Would rather have had porridge at the caravan if I'd have known about this place.

We waited over an hr for our food order which they continually got wrong. They have a massive German shepherd roaming the cafe and kitchen freely, it's very friendly but causes a massive hygeine issue. Dog hairs everywhere including in our daughters food. They made us pay up front which we found odd, until we realised its probably because we would have walked off before the food had come as we waited so long. I ordered poached eggs but after 45 minutes waiting was told their egg poacher was broken ? If we had been offered a free drink, or apologies while waiting it might have made things better. Instead the owner handed is £2 and said the waitress was new as we left! However it didnt seem to be her fault! Terrible service very disappointing.

Nice little cafe, busy in the morning so obviously popular with locals. My boyfriend really enjoyed his full english breakfast, we came here specifically because we saw an advertisement board near by clearly stating vegan and gluten free options. Disappointed because upon inquiry next to no vegan options and no separate cooking facilities for vegan options so cross contamination would be inevitable. This cafe is listed as a top place to eat for vegan options online in Woolacombe.

We usually like the place but this visit was a bit of a disaster. Two of our meals were forgotten then came out cold. I had gammon, which was tough. We also had to remind them about the desserts. However, the choux pastry banoffee pie was delicious. Having only one real ale, Doombar, is not very good.

Rang Beth at dominoes who was very nice on the phone, she made the best dough balls I've ever had from dominoes, the whole order was cooked perfectly, sauce was spread perfectly and evenly, probably the best dominoes I've ever eaten, well done guys.

My partner and I had a lovely meal here to celebrate his birthday. It was a quiet evening, so we were lucky enough to choose where to sit and eat. Naturally, we chose a table with a sea view to accompany our meal which added to the atmosphere of the evening. The service was excellent and we both felt very welcome, we received our food within 10 minutes of ordering and the portion sizes were great value for money. We will visit again the next time we are back in Combe Martin.
