If you are a vegetarian stay away! I recently ordered a vegetarian dish and found a piece of chicken. This is not acceptable and I was horrified. Please seriously review your cross-contamination measures (if any). Poorly handled when notified. Do not recommend and will not return.

We stayed here for one night because we were very attracted to the castle ambiance on the booking portal. On site, the hotel is much larger than it appears. There are many rooms where you can linger. The rooms were classic-modern; we had a room with a garden view, and the bathrooms were of a modern standard. What we didn't like so much: -Cleanliness: The floor in the dining room was still dirty from breakfast in the evening. Upon closer inspection, the bathroom had dirty edges. In the sauna, guests sit on the wood without towels. -A bit worn: Chipped table edges and wavy wallpaper—yes, the hotel has aged a bit since the last renovation. -Restaurant: The menu reads great. The food was okay. The fillet steak ordered medium/rare was medium/well. In my opinion, glasses with 125ml and 175ml on the wine list make no sense, especially since both glasses were almost identically full. Conclusion: A nice stay with a few shortcomings, good value for money. The hotel could be improved; there's potential.

So slow to get the coffee, always only one person making them, which means the queue takes forever to move.

The place is located right next to the road where there is a parking lot. The very friendly staff treated us as if we were the only guests, even though it was crowded. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced (for lasagna, lamb goulash, 2 tenets, beer and juice we paid about 50 pounds). We would love to come again.
