Lovely food, delivered quickly!

Absolute 10/10 .. food is top standard , on an off chance i ordered as i couldnt fet theiugh to my local curry hiuse , and hav not changed since . To all the negative reviews .. do not listen to them .. there either attention seekers or moaners .. the special chow mein has more meat in it than any curry house ive used and flavours are too notch . Last week i had to call and say thankyou … 5 stars !!!!!!

Just had a delivery , lovely polite gentleman dropped it off Food was hot and can honestly say it is the best chinese we have ever had Chicken was breast , lovely flavours and each dish had plenty of meat in , not like some takeaways that put loads of peppers and onions in to bulk it out . Looking forward to our next one Quite pricey but worth every penny , you get what you pay for here and don't feel ripped off. Prices have gone up everywhere , give these guys a chance, you won't be disappointed Thankyou team Fantastic

A go to chinese when visiting this part of the City. Food has always been excellent and the service very efficient.

Rude service don't bother waste your money

Been ordering from here for years . Absolutely delicious every time . By far the best Chinese I’ve ever had and definitely the best in the midlands . Never had a bad meal and it’s always consistent. Arrives quickly and piping hot every time 10/10

Awful place, the owner or the female who was there was very rude and confrontational .I'll never go anywhere it again and I'll be telling all my friends and their families

Very nice delivery driver. Food was pretty bad, vinegary sweet and sour soup that included cheap sausage and tough chicken breast in the main dishes. Would not order again or recommend. Cost a lot of money not all of us can afford now and did not taste like a treat as it should be. Would not recommend. Just not nice. There are better places around

Not the best. BBQ sauce was like syrup, cold chips and rice tasted like it was a few days old.

The people doing flyering for this restaurant ignore no junk mail stickers and leave litter shoved through pushing both letter box flaps up leaving a big hole in my front door and tanking house temperature. It's not OK and the extent of my dealings with Shang Hoi have been with the people they choose to represent them, so I'm reviewing based on those interactions

Probably the best Chinese we have ever tasted. My Dad said they make the best Chinese curry in the Midlands. Really couldn't recommend the Shang hoi house enough. We won't use anyone else 👍

Super speedy delivery, piping hot and delicious food too. Ordered ribs in Szechuan sauce and some vegetable spring rolls but I was somewhat disappointed that the sauce was not at all spicy. Besides that, pretty great stuff.

the worst place to order food. i did some order yesterday and food was unfresh so i was sick all night !

It was a Saturday & my husband had worked 16 hrs & didn’t want me too cook because it was getting late. I went on line to place an order, Singapore Curry didn’t have no where near the amount of ingredients as before. The Singapore Chow Mein was mainly noddles along with the Special Foo Young having nothing Special about it both at nearly £7 a container. All at a much higher price than the menu they put in the bag. The order was over £25 so should of had free large Prawn Crackers & Vegetarian Mini Spring Rolls but I got just a small bag of crackers. I felt like just because it was late no care

Vile 🤢 gone so down hill it’s actually disgusting!! Ordered chicken omelette… can’t go wrong really. Omg the salt in it was a joke, the chips tasted like they had been refried, and the peas were like bullets. Unfortunately won’t be going back after using them for many years

Waited for delivery and a no show. So I called before they closed. Got told delivery was on the way another half hour so I called again same answer so proberly being inappropriate to someone or something if you get my drift I will stay clear.....

First time we have tried shang hoi house very well pleased with the delivery and the food excellent . Had a delivery today so quick really polite driver. The food was so so good .I loved it . 12/09/20. The food we have just eaten was absolutely delicious, crispy beef amazing!! Also prawn toast the best I have ever had. Friendly polite driver. Have used twice now, once for delivery and once for collection. I'm impressed on both occasions, Covid-19 safe working in place well built up screens and PPE in open use :) keep up the good work

I would recommend this take away...the food is alway fresh and there is plenty of it at a reasonable price....what more could you want.

New owners last curry not so good gutted

Always been nice when iv got food from here since the new owners took over. Nice lady at reception taking orders, she always gives my boys a fortune cookie which keeps them happy,

The best Chinese I've ever eaten from. The best salt and pepper chips from any Chinese. Amazing rice, impeccable service and amazing delivery times as well as friendly services. Order from here regularly and always enjoy every meal

Smashing little Chinese Takeaway. Patient & helpful when ordering on the phone - for those of us that aren't au fait (or rich enough) with the concept of takeaways! Shang Hoi catered for a New Year's Day feast for 8, consisting of Duck, chicken, beef, ribs, chop suey to chow mein , spring rolls and Pork balls, (hoping to swerve the next days cooking) Absolutely fantastic! Tasty, cooked to perfection, reasonably priced, & fast delivery from 15 mins to 35 on New Year's evening Very impressive. All the deliveries have been spot on and the drivers are friendly and fast.

Their Singapore rice noodles chow me in is to die for best I have had in Coventry

I used this Chinese for years but last week there was a small stone in my rice. When I rang them the lady could not understand what o was saying! (Or chose not to)

Absolutely disgustingly inedible... The chicken wasn't fresh it looked as if it was cooked a week ago and reheated, 3times. Same with the chips. We're not sure what animal the ribs are from but they left a weird, vile after taste. The rice was mushy. When we phoned to complain their response was "our food very good, we very busy, nothing wrong with our food". There was no offer of re-making our food, no sorry, no refund. All we are left with is dodgy tummys from what little we did eat and pretty much £30 in the bin.

Been here twice now for a takeaway and the food is very good! Definitely will be going back as the menu is huge and lots of things to try out! Friendly staff and good food - what else could you ask for?

Used this Chinese for many years, a family run business. My personal opinion is that the food is good. Well worth a visit
