Nice family owned restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food, particularly the aubergine meze starter Mutabbal. Will definitely return when next in the area. Thank you!

A good value lunchtime business menu as well as a good variety of classic Lebanese meze hot & cold and main courses. The house wine is also very drinkable and the owner friendly with his wife in the kitchen, a classic family run small but cosy place, go try it out even if it doesnt look fancy from the outside the fod is fresh and good.

Popped in for a Take Away. I had heard mixed comments - positive and negative with suggestions that if 'so and so' or the owner was there it was better than if he wa not. well I am assuming on this occasion he was not. It was not late, about 8 o clock and I fancied something to take home to watch a film. There did not seem to be a mixed chicken and lamb fillet order (that is my usual at a couple of other local middle-east chiswick places) so I ordered one of each. First, the rice was clearly just re=heated, dry and tasteless without the little extra saffron one expects. There was no little salad or cooked tomato. The chicken was edible, nothing special. The lamb was tough and smelled susicious. after chewing on one bit, i spat it out and left the lamb. later my son came in and when he finished the lamb said it was chewy with some gristly bits but edible.

One of the rare lebanese restaurants that are owned and managed by a lebanese couple and that serves true leb food! We had the chance to meet the chef “Najat”. She’s so clean and works as if she’s serving food for her own family. Highly recommended!!

My grandmother is from Lebanon so I grew up eating traditional Lebanese food. This restaurant was great food as well as food for my soul. I loved this place and always prefer supporting family owned businesses. For the few that claim they had a bad experience, I highly suggest you try again because this place is great!

Our first time to dine at Shams. Absolutely superb family run Lebanese restaurant with a great pride in their cooking and all with a twist. My wife likes mainly veggie and I like meat but we found dishes we could both enjoy to share and all were good. Special mention the falafel and the salad and the chicken in a wrap. All sounds obvious but all were truly excellent and all that at nearly 10pm. We will go again and can recommend highly to our friends and here on TA.

Great little restaurant. Warmly welcomed by owner. No issues with our booking with promotion. Food was reasonably priced even pre discount. We tried a number of starters and wraps as mains. Food quality was superb, authentic and fresh. Portion sizes were generous. All in all a fabulous meal.

Recently Lebenese style food has gained popularity particularly in the Chiswick area, some are great, some not so, this one is really good, it has a varied menu, is freshly well cooked and is good value particularly the lunchtime business menu. Takeaway is goos but delivery puts the price up too much and not all the elements arrive! The service is very friendly and there are a couple of outdoor seats although the view of the bus stop isnt great ha ha. Well worth eating at it won't empty your purse or wallet but it will fill you tummy!

Warmed up average food. Don’t buy their overpriced supermarket water. Staff is nice, maybe we were unlucky but feels like we were scammed.
