Shaam Restaurant in Stockport

We booked for 19 people and on the night there were 17 of us. Long table set up at the back of the restaurant. They phoned earlier in the day to confirm we were still coming. Some of us had the set menu at £30 per head and the rest chose off the main menu. Those on the set menu were happy with what they were served. Service was good (note there was a service charge probably due to how many of us). We could all take our own alcoholic drinks which made sorting the bill out easier as some people were driving etc. Id say Shaam worked for us for this family meal and everyone seemed happy with it.

We have been to Shaam a few times and this was yet another lovely meal . All the staff, especially Salom our waiter were very helpful. I can highly recommend.

Went for dinner on Saturday; first visit. We were half way through the starters when we started planning our next visit! Great place, decor a bit old school but we liked that about it. Fantastic staff, could not be more helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious - best Hummus I have ever tasted and the kebabs, WOW! They dont serve alcohol so dont forget to bring a bottle or else there is a Sainsburys across the road where you can pop if needed. Great place!

We’ve been a couple of times recently. Firstly, for a friends 70th birthday where we were very impressed with the food and service. As a result we booked to go with friends visiting us. We were all impressed with the food (delicious starters and gorgeous kebabs) and the service was excellent. We have friends who are gluten intolerant and gluten free flatbreads are offered as standard and a lot of the dishes are gf. Also, it doesn’t have a licence so it’s take your own drinks which makes it a cheaper evening out than normal

Uncovered this gem last Saturday for a joint leaving bash. There was 24 of us and all I can say is that every element of the night was perfect. The set menu/food just kept arriving with so much variation and different tastes. The staff were brilliant and nothing was a problem to them, highly recommended 👍

Superb food there were 25 of us and we booked in advance and chose the set menu it just kept on coming stunning salads and rice's everyone chose the meats and didn't get one complaint, and the staff are really friendly, definitely going again, all you need to do is fetch your own drinks which again is brilliant.

We went to Shaam Restaurant one early evening and really enjoyed it. It is very comfortable and lovely and clean. The waiter was very pleasant and just let us enjoy our meal. We chose a few starters and a couple of main courses - everything was completely delicious. Additionally it wasn’t expensive for the quality and quantity of the dishes. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Shaam Restaurant in Bramhall Cheshire last night was fantastic! The top-notch food quality truly shone through from their menu. Salom and Okubay were fantastic and so attentive, friendliness and helpfulness added an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience, making you feel truly valued. Yosef was so knowable and informative about the dishes and method of prep. The great decor undoubtedly complemented the delicious dishes, creating an ambiance that enhanced the overall enjoyment of our visit. This place is a gem where excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service converge to create a memorable dining experience.

Every year we meet here. Wonderful Food, exceptional service and lovely place. We have the mixed meze and It’s hot, tasty and suits everyone. Lovely mix of vegetarian and meat. Love the birthday celebration for our friend. Great value as BYO. Fabulous place.

Just returned from Shaam, the standard of the service and the food is excellent, we had hummus, Hallumi and the best lamb chopsI have ever tasted, the chops were served with Shaam salad, and speciality brown rice. If there is better value we haven’t found it.

Lovely fresh and flavoursome some. Great options for family and friends who might be vegan or veggie but, if you are a meat eater, the lamb dishes are always amazing. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
