Overall the food was great,unfortunately, the 2 flatbread were missing.

Food was so nice. Bit expensive but worth every penny. The lamb with crispy bits was one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten.

Thank you for the incredible food and excellent service at Shaam. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I couldn’t help but notice the same care and attention given to the dishes on other tables as well, all accompanied by a wonderful aroma. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my birthday special by bringing out a slice of cake with a candle, creating a lovely atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to offer a variety of music, and we did notice a few bothersome flies from time to time.

Service was brilliant and the waitors very good! Will definitely visit again!

The restaurant is extremely clean, its employees are extremely tasteful, and their food is delicious and you feel like it is home-cooked food.

We ordered delivery on just eat. The food was insanely delicious and delivery was within advised time. My fussy daughter has asked if we can have this every week!

We went for a works lunch, about 15 others having a set menu. The food is pretty good it's quite happy with it all it's not licensed so just be aware of that. Service was perhaps a little bit slow; recognising that we were there on a lunch hour we ended up being there for a little bit longer so if you are in a rush make sure you let them know.

Very flavourful food, hummus was amazing like never tried before. The Lamb Basha is uniquely Delicious! I tried Muhalabiya for dessert and it was astonishing😋

Shaam hosted a fabulous 70th birthday party for me, for 50 people. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating.The food and service were first class and all done with minimum fuss…a great time was had by all. Thanks so much.

We both first tried a take our which was the lamb shwarma...humus and grilled haloumi. Amazing food so this time we decided to eat in and as soon as we walked in we knew we made the right choice. This time we ordered the lamb kebab on skewers and chicken sharhat...wow so tasty and absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend this place!

Yesterday a party of 30 of us visited for an end of season rugby team meal. There was a mix of teenage boys and parents. 19 of the party opted for a set menu and the remainder ordered from the menu. We sat on a long table and the teenagers sat one end of the table and adults the other end. Only 4 of the teenagers ordered the set menu. The dishes from the set menu started coming and was served to the adults first. Dishes were placed in front of us and we were told for you to share. So to give an example to fish was shared between 4 of us. Unfortunately all the dishes food were placed in front of the teenagers. The boys were left hungry after paying £30 per head for them. I questioned with a waiter why the boys hadn’t been given all the dishes and was told he placed them all at the top end and we should have passed them down. There didn’t feel like there was enough food to cover them - again for example we had 4 plates of fish (2 per plate) to share between 19. The waiter did not offer any further food for them and they had to eat afterwards at home. For those of us who did eat the food was very good, however because of the problems we had we would not return.

If your looking for overpriced, overcooked bland food then head to Shaam, it’s the worse restaurant in Bramhall which is saying something as the standard in Bramhall is not great. I wished I had just cooked the dish myself at home which would have turned out better than what we got from Shaam. VERY DISAPPOINTED is an understatement, Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere.

This is the first time we'd been here and I went with a friend. We ordered a couple of starters & two mixed kebabs. These 'kebabs' were £20 each for 3 or 4 extremely short skewers of meat and a miniature white jug with literally about an inch of red watery sauce in the bottom. The meat was OK, edible, and the sauce was a sort of watery sweet chilli sauce but it was 'the sauce' so you had no choice. However, the mini skewers came with no rice, no bread, no salad, no yoghurt sauce, nothing else with it. All for £20. When I asked for more sauce, the guy brought a second tiny jug with another inch of red watery sauce. Bearing in mind there were two of us so there should have been two jugs to begin with. This sauce also ran out quickly so I asked for some more sauce and again the guy brought a 3rd jug of 1 inch red watery sauce. Which again ran out in seconds. We ate it all and got the bill. The guy had charged us for extra sauce. I complained and told him that there was a thimble full of sauce to begin with and these mean looking kebabs were £20 each with no extras whatsoever so we were already paying £40 for 6 small skewers of meat and a tiny amount of sauce which is pretty ridiculous. The guy became really defensive and quite rude. His answer? "It's Bramhall mate, so what do you expect?" My answer. "That makes no sense. The Istanbul Grill in Cheadle for example, does a much bigger plate of mixed kebabs plus breads, salad, rice and 3 different types of sauce for way below £20. And aside from you pretending Bramhall is Manhattan, Cheadle's not exactly The Bronx. House prices are pretty much the same." His answer: That's Turkish. This is different, it's Lebanese. My answer: That's not really an answer. Well can you take the 'extra' sauce off the bill at least? To be fair, he did. But the whole thing - two small starters, two beers, two small plates of meat and a syringe full of sauce came to over £70. As we were paying, the management plus kitchen staff came out to the front desk like everything was about to erupt in a fight, even though we had been perfectly calm and reasonable. This was just weird. We left and they said "see you again". We said "you won't". Shame. The food was OK but the portions were a joke for the price and the sauce thing was just ridiculous. If you stopped trying to gouge people and rip them off Shaam, you might get a few more customers. Here's a tip;. If you're on Bramhall High St, go to Noks Thai Restaurant next door instead. The food is incredible and the people are lovely. Or the Crown & Conspirator, that's also good. Just avoid Shaam. It's got one too many A's in the name.

I like Middle Eastern cuisine and this lived up to my expectations with a very wide and varied menu including many things that would satisfy vegetarians, hummus, aubergines, okra. The restaurant is quite large but there were only three tables occupied so the atmosphere was only so-so. Other nights should be busier with more atmosphere.

We had the Shish kebab, chicken kebab, mujadara rice, Lebanese salad and houmous. The food was really tasty but a little cold when it arrived. We would order again.

Pretty quiet but it is only to be expected at 5pm on January 6th. Service was excellent and the food although superb could have been a little hotter. The place was a little on the cool side but it was pretty cold out and we were next to the window.

Great atmosphere, very nice staff & mouthwatering menu. Dishes were tasty but a little over described and under presented, but would still go again.

Eaten here a few times and it just seems to even better. Seen a review saying this could be the best Middle Eastern restaurant in South Manchester and I wouldn’t disagree. The food is exemplary, staff are nice and depending when you go it varies from chilled / quieter in the week to busy at weekends. It’s BYO drinks so if you’ve arrived not realising you can nip round the corner to Sainsbury’s local which is a few metres away. Food pics may not do it justice but it’s a classic meze choice of starters from humous dips, breads, baba ghanoush etc, mains are a great selection and desserts are classic Middle Eastern home cooked, the baklava is highly recommended.

Awful experience, extremely slow and careless customer service. Food was dry and definitely not a Middle Eastern sandwich. I asked for mint tea and the Eritrean guy gave me hot water with mint leaves!!? Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful to my culture. The waiter told us 5 mins, he got my order wrong and took over 40 mins. If you like good food go next door!

Less than average. Incomparable to other similar places. Food tasted like was in the fridge then microwaved. Those who tried the rice dish had stomach problems later.

Went last night with friends. Food and service excellent. Very reasonable priced. The only gripe is the table wasn't big enough for 4 people taking into account how they serve the food is separate bowls.

Just been to Shamm for first time in 3 months due to holidays etc. It was better than ever the Shamm salad the rice and the lamb chops were superb, it must be the best value for money in the area.They also have the most pleasant staff who give excellent service Neil and Pat Bridge.

Food was fantastic but massively over priced for what we got. Kebabs were just the meat in the tray. Everything else such as pitta and salad is charged for separate.

Very disappointed with the food myself, and my partner could not eat what we had ordered, so I ended up throwing the food away before using somewhere else to order food, it's safe to say we won't every order from here again!! Very disappointing.

My husband has recently developed a severe allergy to soy, making it a stressful experience to eat out. The owners of Shaam could not have been more reassuring and accommodating. As a result our party of five had a relaxed and very enjoyable evening. We also really liked being able to bring our own wine. The food was delicious.

On the pricier side for what you get, but very high quality fresh tasting food.

Really enjoyed all the food we ordered. Good, efficient service and you take your own booze. What was weird was in the space of an hour having 6 different tables celebrating a birthday. Hmmm. Felt sorry for the staff having to keep going through the "happy birthday" rigmarole.

The menu specified gluten free and it wasn't.. I called the restaurant and they didn't understand anything I was saying and didn't resolve the issue.

Another delicious meal at Shaam! We love food from what we call the Middle East and are never disappointed when we eat here. We usually order 6 or 7 starters which are always fresh,delicious and well presented. we often bring our own wine which always keeps the bill a little lower.

Just been for a Father's day lunch at Shaam in Bramhall, my first time there but definitely not my last. Sat in the open window seats, watching the world go by. Excellent choice of dishes and a lunchtime 2 course menu till 5pm for £15.95. We shared a selection of hot and cold starters which were delicious, especially the pickled mixed veg. We all went for lamb dishes for main course, I had aubergine stuffed with lamb with yogurt, tomato sauce and crispy pieces of flatbread and almonds with rice. Generous portions all round. My son had cheesecake for dessert and my wife and I had sweet Arabic coffee. It's bring your own bottle if you want, we just had soft drinks and a jug of water. Lovely staff and an excellent atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Went on a Thursday night for a quick meal with a friend. It was BYOD so we went to Sainsburies. We ordered Chicken Wings Starter which were tasty and both had Lamb Chops with vermicelli rice, sald and fries. We were served chops each which I ended up taking some home. A service charge is added otherwise would have left a tip as the wraiter was very pleasant. You need to park in a nearby car park as no parking outside

Have had several meals & takeaways from here & on Thursday 4 of us went for dinner for a birthday celebration. My daughter & myself ordered a mix of vegetarian food including a vegetarian kibbah. When the food came I put a fork of the kibbah in my mouth & realised it was lamb which I have not eaten for 40 years. The waiter came over & then the waiter who took our order came over & said very rudely that I did not order vegetarian. I said I did & my friends also agreed they had heard me. I understand mistakes happen but how they dealt with it was appalling. I could barely eat the rest of my meal. They even added service charge onto the bill & did not offer anything to better the situation, I did not want to make a fuss as it was a birthday celebration. I later complained by message after & I just got an apology. I messaged again & was only then offered a 20% discount for a future meal! When something like this happens how it is dealt with is what you remember!

Very average given the amount of similar restaurants serving the same style of food in bramhall and Cheadle.Bread was dry and meat not juicy at all.

We tried Shaam tonight because our usual Lebanese from Alderley has a 2 star hygiene rating. We are so glad we tried Shaam and can say we are now converts! The food was amazing. Chicken kebabs, Kofte kebabs, majidara rice, Greek salad, halloumi, hummus shawarma all incredible. If you only eat from the place in Alderley, give Shaam a go, it’s just as good if not better!

We enjoyed a lovely family evening at Shaam. The welcome, service, food and vibe were all great. We shared delicious starters and all enjoyed our meals (various lamb and vegetarian options), along with the wine we brought with us. We fully recommend Shaam!

This place is a scam if you want to deliver they will act like they delivered it but they had me waiting around my street and when i rang them they said they had already been snd said i had to collect , do not trust boss man my man is a scam trying to get £28 for free 😂😂

absolutely dreadful. Overpriced, poor quality. Ordered a kebab for £15, what turned up was dry meat in a cardboard box with some rice and a shop bought pitta in a bag!!!! What a con. If you're gonna advertise a kebab tell people it doesn't come with any salad or a proper flatbread of any kind, and start charging realistic prices. £15!!!

Absolutely amazing food & atmosphere. The muhamarra & baba ghanoush cannot be faulted as well as the chicken bourak. I have been here a few times already, only due to the amazing customer service and mouth watering food. Menu has a very wide range of options. Definitely would consider this the best lebanese/syrian food in Manchester! A strong 100/10!!!

Ordered Shish and Mixed kebabs costing £34.90, looked lovely on the picture with salad and sides. What arrived was 2 trays of plain meat and 3 small dry flatbreads with small pots of sauce, no salad at all, absolute rip off for the price. Given this is a restaurant we expected high quality kebabs better than a takeaway for the price. No option to add salad unless you pay extra, phoned restaurant and manager was very dismissive and said we should’ve phoned beforehand for salad, that is not how JustEat works. Meat was good quality, however overall experience was very disappointing for the price paid, restaurant trying to offer takeaway for higher price should at least match takeaway service.
