Hot fastfood, chicken burger meal was okay. Freshly cooked fries.

I went to their branch in Woolwich and ordered chicken doner and chips which was off and the guys put on lots of chilli to cover up for the smell. Not impressed at all and will never go again! Absolutely disgusted and the service was rubbish as well

Nice place, was one of the only fast food places open during the pandemic so their prices were really competitive back then... but however their prices have been hiked up so high, its even more expensive than KFC, which puts me off somewhat. Nonetheless, the food tastes well, especially with their "spicy powder" that they use.

delicious crispy chicken with a touch of spice that you will fall in love with. Very friendly staff and you don't have to wait long for your order. I recommend it. Although I've moved to another neighborhood, whenever I feel like chicken and I don't want to cook, I go there, although now I have it further away from home, I don't care, it's my favorite chicken and potatoes 😋😋😋

The quality of the chicken has gotten worse lately, and worst of all I recently found a feather in my wing :(

The worst ever and ever see my life I order food the was 2 waiters working there one he sav me the other one he start spitting next to food there it is very nesty and disgusting I advise don’t go there other ways you will get sick and also I am going to report to council

Waited an hour for burger and chips

Food is very much hit and miss. Sometimes the chicken taste it good, other time it isn’t cooked as good.

Absolutely amazing. Me and my boyfriend shamble in here at least three times a week and I would never eat anywhere else at 2 AM. They don’t seem to mind us watching them with our hungry rat eyes and they deliver the bags of hot food directly into our little raccoon hands. Would I go somewhere else if somewhere else was open: no. Selekt chicken is a second home to me- I would live here if my mother would let me. You haven’t lived if you haven’t eaten here.

Lovely place. The staffes are very kind. Chicken burger and sauces are great.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Stopped in to get a burger and whilst waiting in line, I saw the “chef” using tongs to manoeuvre raw chicken on the grill, afterwards he then used the same tongs to grab ready to eat wings from the hot section. Left & didn’t order as soon as I saw that. Teach your employees some bloody basic food health & safety before your shop kills someone. 3:40-48pm you’ll see me come in & leave. teach your man working the grill about some basic safety practices!

I don’t think u even deserve 1 star but unfortunately there’s no lower than that, the food was terrible, ordered a burger with tiny bit of chilli, the burger was dripping with chilli sauce, plus it was dry as a bone cooked in the morning sitting there all day and sold to me at night, it was stinking, absolutely disgusting

Iv been there 3 times thought maybe this time its going to be better, Staff not welcoming. They Seem like highschoolers having fun. When asked about the difference between 2 burgers that had the same price ,the answer was im not sure. Dont know what the difference is between their burgers. Also overpriced for no reason.

The meals are amazingly quantious, but the fries are what make it. The fries are beyond even a Burger King level.

Friendly staff and the food is what it is. If you want a healthy meal don't go here. If you're Vegan or planning on going down that route you may want to keep walking past. The service is quite quick and the price is reasonable. Good for a quick snack or bite to eat.

Best fried chicken and burgers in north london

I went hete for a quick bite. The place is a bit worn out but has ample seating. Food is average but to be fair so os the price. Fills a gap when in a rush and on the go.

Customer service was horrendous tgey laughed at my face when i asked a simple question never going there again

To be a small fast food place and if you want to taste another way of preparing fried chicken, I advise you to visit it, from spicy chicken to grilled chicken and with prices really within everyone's reach.

STAY AWAY!! they have no sense of hygiene or health and safety. They put raw chicken right next to my wraps bread on the grill and used the same tongs to pick up my bread. If im ill tomorrow going to report them

This place is horrendous. I witnessed staff being violent towards a female customer after confronting them about hygiene. I think they were very upset about the recent cricket result (AFGHANISTAN)

I went here today and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL! they told me and my friends that we didn’t pay them and refused to give us food and was ignoring us kmt!!

The service and customer service I received here was so fantastic and they looked after me. Even when I needed them the most they were here for me. An incredible shop and they always amaze me!

I went to selekt chiken with my dad and brothers to enjoy a nice, quick meal after a day of shopping. When we got there the tables were wonky and a bit dirty so we tried to pick a nice one, which trust me was hard. We ordered our food but it took years to actually come, plus we got every burger about 10 minutes seperately. The staff were rude and adgitated (I think they wanted to start a fight no joke) and the toilet had a door that didn't lock. I will not be going to this chicken shop again and I don't reccomend anyone else does until they fix up. there is so many other options for a good chicken shop in shepherds bush that are a million times better than selekt so i advise you choose one of them.

This is what fried wings should taste like. I ordered for the first time and the outer batter was crispy, crunchy, spicy and had just the right amount of salt. I was NOT disappointed. Like at all. I am not sure what the other reviews are about as I really enjoyed my 5 wings meal. Who knows, Perhaps they've upped their standards since?

The chips were okay, the chicken was dry. The service was not good. There was one person at the counter taking orders and serving. This person took order after order for 5 people and receiving cash at the till every time before seeing to them yet a 6th person comes to order last and is served before he even paid for his order. The 5 before who had already paid were left standing waiting.

Best thing is the chilli powder on the chips, burgers are good, but the wings are a little flavourless. Overall, good place foor halal food

The place looks nice from the outside, on the inside staff should pay more attention to floors and tables. When I walked in, the feet literally were stuck to the ground, it was really dirty inside. The staff were friendly and gave me extra piece of chicken wing. The taste of chicken could have been better if not for the oil it was cooked in. You can feel when chicken was cooked in the old oil. Hope they would improve.
