Tennessee Fried Chicken in Haringey

I paid for the food after I ordered it. Then several customers ordered food. I don’t know if it was intentional or they really forgot. When they got the food, they asked me for cash or card. My English is not very good and I couldn’t communicate with the clerk, so I had to Pay twice, 1 point negative review

If i can give this place a zero rating, then i would. I walked in here the other day with my colleague and ordered two wing meals. The wings were undercooked and the chicken was still pink. When i complained politely, i was met with a very bad response telling me that my food is absolutely fine. I then said ok went to sit down as there were 4 members of their staff meeting me aggressively. Then, i think the manager, talked to me in a seated position from behind the counter saying he can recook my food. I told him fine. My chips were taken away from me and i was given six overcooked wings on the outside, which were still pink inside. The food here is disgusting, don’t waste your time or money. The staff are pure rude, aggressive and arrogant. No customer skills whatsoever. STAY AWAY. I need to also make it clear that I WILL be reporting this establishment to the Council. I really wonder what they have to say to Harringay Council when their inspectors walk through the doors. You messed with the wrong guy, my motto is; treat everyone with respect.

Prices are expensive, never seen such stingy portions for such prices, customer service was abysmal. First and last time going here. Avoid this place much better places in the area.

Chicken is oily and atmosphere is also oily. Fries are soft and thick and poorly seasoned.

The food is a absolute waste of money, the chips are disgusting, the huge bun ratio to the tiny chicken in it which was actually a brick, so tough to bite into, the mayonnaise isn't even the real thing. Hands down this place has to be the worst impersonation of a chicken shop

Went in asking directions for the local kebab house, and ended up eating their food instead. A mixture of cheerful staff and quality food will keep me coming back to this little gem in the rough and tumble of Wood Green. Ps their grilled chicken wrap and wings is what I had. Delectable for the price!

Paid £21 For 10 pieces of chicken, got 5 pieces at the end no one ate because it wasn't enough tried calling them with no answer. Was very angry and disappointed in front of my guests 😒

I have been ordered from the shop for many years. Today, I am really disappointed. I changed my mind of the Order. There was 2 pounds something change left if I change to something else. The staff suggested me to put more chip on my meal deal. But I do not want it. I asked Can I have my 2 pounds back? The young staff started to become upset. However I decided to change to chicken wrap which I can pay more for it. He still speak really fast and show his impatience. I am not happy about it. I asked nicely and it is not busy during the time. It is last day of the year, he ruined my mood and I would not order from them again!

More bone than chicken. Absolute rip off

All the food was great, and we were even given an extra wing and an extra chicken strip. However, one of the drinks was incorrect, the spicy wings were not spice whatsoever, one of the portions of chips were not peri peri (which we paid extra for) and we requested to have two thigh pieces and we got a leg and a breast piece!

Great food but unfortunately, they didn’t pack my second box of onion rings. I only got one so had to request a refund for the missing box.

I stood for 3 or 4 minutes waiting for the lady in front of me to be done with getting her food by one staff. Next to the counter there was one staff sitting down behind the counter and another standing and talking to him as if I didn’t exist. As soon as a man comes in he gets served instantly by that man standing up. Never going there again, absolutely trash.

Rude. Chicken was disgusting, tasteless I wouldn’t feed it to dog. Do not go in here if you like food.

Guys stick to local .i had choice between local and this one . Customer service is rubbish and not worth to spend money where you dont even get service . Shop was not even busy but still workers were rushing . Feel like they dont really like card payments. Any way would be nice if this shop can sort there Customer service to get through todays tough market. Tenesee team you need to turn around the buisness .

Never answer there phone or follow instructions on the delivery's

They tried to intentionally shortchange me by 20p back in 2007. I haven't quite gotten over it.

Lettuce and mayo in burger when i wrote in the notes

Not your common dirty chicken shop, the establishment is managed and operated by a Turkish staff. The fries are old school style fat'ish chips , slightly soft and taste like school chips. I got the chicken burger which was nice, the chicken was spiced well, a good amount of sauce and salad inside. Prices are cheap, food is average but hits the spot. Nothing special however the food was nice.

This place was good back when an Indian fella called Rocco used to work there in 2011. He'd always let me and my mates off if we were short of a few quid.

Very rude staff. I had to ask him if I can make an order after few minutes of waiting. It wasn't even busy. He said wait with a rude tone then said that "what do you want" aggressively. I just left without ordering. 0 star please

Delivery didn't give me my drinks

The chicken wings are too greasy with no taste. The chicken burger i would say its the souce that makes it eatable. For what you pay for you can eat better quality food elsewhere. And The Bossman was stingy with the souce. I rarely eat from these chicken shops but i think even dixy is better than that.

Possibly the worst tasting chicken and chips I have had the displeasure of experiencing. The lack of seasoning and flavour is shocking. Even the salt and chilli sauce couldn't save the abysmal wings and chips. They came out fresh from the fryer which makes this even more surprising. Save your money and taste buds and go elsewhere

How sad I've bought the peri peri chicken here before because it was so tasty but recently the quality has been bad the chicken is uncooked and not crunchy

Pricey and disgusting These were the worst chicken wings I have ever tasted. I literally sput it out and threw the box in the bin. No spice or flavouring whatsoever and the chicken was dry and foul tasting. Won't be going here again.

Ate here and the chips were lukewarm including the chicken. It wasn't cooked properly, and I had an upset stomach all day. I threw up when I got home. Never eating from here again!

Pretty good fried chicken, delicious lamb burger, quite fast and good crowd management. But their inconsistency about paying with card makes think about going back ever again: in the last 3 months I was told that I can pay any amount, that I can only pay for only more than £7, that there is a charge if I use my card and that I can't pay at all. Not helpful...

They do not take cards, no sign anywhere to notify the customer. Two stars because fast and good food.

So lovely delicious beef burger , number 15 , much much much better then the burger king and McDonald , so huge and filling with fries and drink , I can recommend here for anyone ..

I’ve been visiting the shop for over 15 years. The staff are always so welcoming and they really look after you. From a food perspective, they have the best chicken fillet burger in North London. It’s no surprise they have been trading for over 30 years. 10/10

Ok this place serve anything that you order really fast, and the food tastes amazing, and it's also healthier than a normal chicken shop.

My son went in to buy a chicken burger meal for £3 , in addition to the chicken burger not tasting great they had the audacity to charge him a surcharge for using his bank card. I went in and spoke to them about breaking the law of charging for the use of a debit card and they had a no care attitude. Taking advantage of young people who may not know the law change.

Staff were friendly enough, shop is run down. I had a 2 piece meal, the meat wasn't long out the fryer so it was pouring with oil, the meat was barely edible I bare had 2 bites from the two pieces. Chips were over cooked. Worst fried chicken ive had in years. Why do I never check Google reviews before trying a shop? Would of saved myself the bother

Unfortunately TFC is the worst fried chicken I have tried in Wood Green so far. Dry and bland. Please give this a miss if you like fried chicken. Still looking for a shop better than PFC in Finsbury Park!

I grew up eating here from my preteens to early twenties. With change of management throughout the years the service and quality has declined immensely whilst the prices have risen (across the road u can get meal deals for relatively cheaper, plus peri peri powder on your chips 😊). The staff are usually friendly but I once had an unfortunate incident with staff once when the price advertised outside on the side of the shop was different to the price that I was being told to pay. When I brought it to their attention that the price listed outside was less, staff argued with me to try and justify why I should pay the higher price. This incident along with the decline in service and quality has left me unwilling to ever eat here or even want to give them my money.

Has no understanding that in order to keep customers happy you anjust a little bit. Makes KFC look like cuisine. Dire greasy food. Go to the Roosters across the street for freshly cooked chicken for 50p more.

I've been here three times and got food poisoning once. Not bad odds!
