Seimo Seito in Dumfries & Galloway

Ordered and waited for delivery via Foodhub. 1hour and 30 mins later and still not arrived. Not impressed.

Ordered a takeaway via the phone for collection, vegetable curry among other things,went to collect,the hungry vegetarian being hungry was ready to tuck in but,,,,a chicken curry was in by mistake. Phone to say that a mistake had been made and they wanted us to go to collect the replacement. Definitely wasn't do that so they would deliver. I'd lost interest in the meal by the time the delivery arrived and two others had finished their meal. Sadly disappointed

Food is really good but more than often tastes like they accidentally got done cleaning products in their food which is a shame because it’s usually very good

Chicken tikka korma, vindaloo, southern garlic. Tarka dhal, raita and sides... all brilliantly different flavoured and will last me 3 days :D ...delivery perfectly before time

Was recommended to use this place by the Imam of the local mosque and the Imam had excellent taste. The food was delicious and served with a smile. Halal food.

Best place in town for a king chicken kebab. The nan is lovely and chicken always tender. Could do with a bit lettuce in the salad though 🤔

Pizza was cold when it arrived.. I've never had a pizza with no tomato sauce on the base... Ive had to heat it up in my oven.. Paid £12 expecting hot food,, won't ever use that place again..

Just got a calzone but it was alot smaller than normal hardly anything inside it taste good just seems to be a kids size tonight

Before I ordered I said to them that my last order was missing a large chip could they double check my order so that it does not happen again, order arrived Chip missing again, how can that happen it's not that it is a cheap meal, never have I had extra wonder why????? Made my mind up to NEVER USE THEM AGAIN IT A DISGRACE.

Very good food. Reasonable priced and quick delivery staff at the takeaway were very friendly and the delivery driver was quick and friendly.

absolutely disgusting, 3rd time in a row we have ordered and found multiple hairs, when we phone to complain they asked to come and collect to inspect the hair and see who’s is it when we said what’s the point phone was put down and card was blocked, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Food was stunning as was the weird young builder with the high vis jacket behind the counter.

Walked into semios the other day, they all started talking about me in French I could tell, when he made my donner kebab who never put any cello tape on it to keep it closed like I requested, just took the total Micky out me :-((

Lovely food and lovely service but I asked for 2 thin crust pizzas with bbq sauce on base of the pizzas instead of tomato as my partner is allergic to tomatoes and instead I received both pizzas with tomato base and bbq sauce on top and they are also far from thin crust

Chicken buhna was like lentil soup, chicken jalfrezi like spicy pasta sauce, chips cold and soggy, pakoras clearly been made about two days ago. Avoid.

The food tasted great I had my order correctly and nothing was missing. I recommend visiting this place with friends and family.

We have been getting take way from this establishment for years. With out any complaint or issues. 16/10/2021 I placed an order at 18.21pm told it would be about an hour. 19.33pm phoned up asked were order was and the young girl was speaking to a male on the phone and I could hear her saying I can’t find the order. Was told it would be 30mins it was coming to the point we’re they would have been closing. In total we waited over 2 1/2 hours. The worst of if was at the point of calling I would have thought someone would have reduced the amount of £25. No still had to pay full amount. When the food arrived the pizza was hard and looked like it had been sitting for a while. When I say this I truly mean something I won’t be back. As I could have gone to Glasgow and back In the amount of time I had to wait.

Absolutely stinking. Ordered tikka masala and received what tastes and looks like a korma, no tikka masala that I have ever tasted has coconut in it, I called back to check what I received was in fact tikka masala and not korma to be assure it was tikka. Waste of money would not recommend extremely pour food and very bland..

Service was average,more interested in talking to each other,pizza was chewy,meant to be extra pepperoni,was just a cheese pizza though,donner meat wasnt cooked and cold in places,unable to eat after 1 mouthfull,absolutely terrible take away,wouldnt go back for free food.

very bad service order my food over 2.5hrs wait and when I phoned was told it was out for delivery. and waited another 30 min from the call and when delivery arrived driver said only picked up the order. and to top it of they had missed items. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

I always tend to order from here as it’s the best value takeaway I find. Especially in the munchie box (seimos munchie box all the way) they have a good menu. Last time I ordered was about a week ago and I was let down at how greasy it was - it was practically dripping through the pizza box. I will always rate this place as their delivery is quick and the food is good 97% of the time.

The last 3 times I have ordered the food has been terrible and the last time I phoned I got shouted at as my food was cold! Never again! Very rude.

Placed order at 7.45 estimated delivery 8.35 - 8.55 arrived at 8.30 and absolutely delicious. Well done seimo seito will definitely be back.

Very poor.Order placed on line and paid for and then collected.Missing Kebab which meant another trip out collect while the rest of the food had go in the oven.Salad with chicken kebab very poor - no red cabbage etc Wouldn’t go here again.

Great staff, order by telephone or online + food ready to collect quickly. Huge portions + food consistently good. Never been disappointed. Biggest problem is deciding what to order from the massive choice.

We ordered at 17.40 and it took 2hrs 20mins to come the food was cold and not all that my wife Nan bread was greasy

The staff were friendly but the pizzas did not have much taste and were chewy. It could do with a clean as well. I know it's a busy place as the staff never stopped sorting out deliveries but it was only just after 5pm so thought it could have been cleaner.

Love the takeaway food and the guys are always good for a bit of banter.

I witnessed 6 Male employees bully a young female employee to the point of tears. They appeared to enjoy it and from their conversation, it had happened before. I made comment about it and was stared out by the Male employees,they may not all have been employees but they were all behind the counter. I was disgusted by their behaviour and will not use this establishment again

Came here just passing and ordered pizza with a few toppings also chips and garlic sauce. It was lovely. Staff were nice and the place looked clean. It was non stop with orders which is a good sign. Defo use again if in the area

I wouldn't give even one star if I could. It is just SO BAD. They forgot to include chips and salad (not for a first time, knowing ppl can't be bothered, but if they "forget" to include extras to every customer, - how much money on top they would get?), their bread/wrap was dry and flat horrible, chicken was half cooked and anything, but not spicy tikka, --so-called salad consisted of one roughly chopped onion , it is just so customer-unfriendly, that I Am lost for words. Dumfries is a small place, where people are very modest, so they don't make much fuss about bad quality of takeaways. And they are wrong here, they have rights to expect quality and to demand. But should be some dignity after all, in starting and leading food businesses, in offering this sort of services to community. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND. It is honest and sincere review of a person, who stayed hungry on Friday night, because of the food from Seimo Seito.

Quite often use Seimo Seito. Food is always good and delivery is always on time. Good meal deal which are good prices. All round pleasant visit.

Often get a takeaway from here. Chaps behind counter are always very happy and helpful. Food is always piping hot when we get it home. Delivery is also good. Will continue to use and recommend.

It's ok I ordered chicken and pineapple pizza but got home it had ham and pineapple.

Worst chicken wrap ever. Even before I unwrapped it I knew something wasn’t right. The actual tortilla wrap itself was that soggy the second I picked it up the entire contents ie the chicken, lettuce, onion all fell out in one go. Had to throw the wrap out and eat the rest as some sort of salad. A total opposite to the seimo seito based in lockerbie, they toast the wrap ever so slightly giving it more firmness and better texture, the salad and meat is fresh and tastes far better. Maybe you want to take a leaf out of their book...

Straight in the bin, chicken kebab was swimming in grease! How can chicken cooked on a grill be so greasy.

Had a few Dinners from here over the years (when it is my turn to cook.) Never had a bad experience. Good banter from behind the counter.

Called in just before closing and purchased two great pizzas and a curry. Beautiful food and friendly staff. Wouldn't get better. Will be back and highly recommend.

Chicken pakora - just what's needed after having drinks! Always hot and filling. Their mixed pakora is equally as good too

Calzone chicken bbq very enjoyable and good value for money, very generous potion size. Also had it delivered staff very friendly and helpful.

Had a mixture feast and it was very tasty , recommend the chicken tikka jaipuri with extra kicked rice ! Nice and colourful great for your taste palette . Pizza and chips too were nice and it was very hot 👍 more than ample food portions excellent value 😉

Mi esposa y mi hijo elegido el chino para llevar al lado (lo que por desgracia no fue una gran experiencia tampoco), pero me apetecía una pizza, llamada así en Seimo Seito.El lugar es pequeño, y que inmediatamente no parece especialmente limpios e higiénicos, aunque no pude encontrar ninguna referencia a esta toma en absoluto en los resultados en el sitio web de las puertas, así que no es muy buena señal de la. Yo creo que debería ir andando, pero que me habían visto entrando y casi sentía obligado a pedir algo. Tal vez estoy inmerso en una ciudad con una gran variedad de comida para llevar que sirven comida decente de calidad (si no increíble) - incluso para juerguistas borrachos - así que me cuenta subconscientemente esperaba algo similar de aquí.Pedí un 12" carne los amantes Pizza. Llegar a la casa de vacaciones y abrir la caja, me atendió una base demasiado grasienta (casi hasta el punto de ser imposible de manejar) y un techo que parecía marrón oscuro, con ninguna indicación que pudiera haber ningún ingredientes presentes aparte de quemado queso. Pedimos comida aquí cuando nos alojamos justo fuera Dumfries, menú parecía bien, pero debería haber dado cuenta de comentarios esta fue una tienda borrachuzos kebabs y no un respetable para llevar.

Was looking forward to a takeaway of a double pepperoni pizza with extra toppings and a chicken Maryland. Unfortunately what arrived was a margarita pizza and rubbery tasteless chicken. Will not be ordering from here again.

When your drunk and starving.........where do you go SEIMO SEITOS!!!!!!!! Decent food, from what I can remember. But if you are wasting away....get a munchie box. Massive man.

Always had decent grub varying from pizza's kebab's and currie's, good prices and usually they give kids a free lollipop whilst you wait.

I only been to Dumfries for a month now. I've tried all the takeaways but Seimo Seito is the best by far. You can have banter with the staff the food was great, fresh and quick. I got my money's worth and would recommend to every1 :)

There are better takeaway restaurants available though perhaps not in the immediate area. The food is reasonably priced and not bad, but it's definitely not the best.

I use the Seimo regularly - alternating between it and the India Palms. Not much to choose between them as they are both great. I would say, though, that the meat (whether it be lamb or chicken) from the Seito is always tender and perfectly cooked. The Lamb Jalandhar is my favourite curry at the moment, but I've never had a bad one.Delivery can be a bit slow at times, so not getting five stars, but that is no reflection on the quality of the food.

The staff in seimo seito are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I have been many times for lunch and the value was good at that time of day. However , the value is not as good at night time and is rather overpriced. The food is decent.
