Sedir Restaurant in Kettering

Having booked a table and had it confirmed via email, we arrived to find the restaurant closed!! We telephoned them and no response!! If I could leave no stars I would absolutely disgusting customer service, A simple call or a email would have been nice! Thanks for ruining our evening 👏👏

This is our 2nd visit this year. Food is wonderful, very tasty and freshly cooked. The staff are helpful, warm and friendly. The restaurant has a warm and vibrant ambience, felt like we were on holiday! This place is a gem!

Yummy Turkish kebabs here the chef is great experienced he made me a salad freshly just want to say thank you for special fresh kebab and salad

I booked a table here fairly last minute. The customer service from the start was excellent. As neither of us were particularly hungry we choose a smaller platter and some additional starters. These were absolutely delicious. We also observed some of the other larger platters being served and these also looked phenomenal. We both had a fantastic eating experience and will definitely return to try other items. If you are looking for delicious, reasonably priced food in a spacious, friendly environment give this restaurant a go!

This location can’t sustain a restaurant as it having changed hands so many times over the last few years shows. I’d heard some encouraging things about it so finally went. The food was very average. The service was painfully slow and there was only one other table occupied in the place. I’m afraid I won’t be rushing back.

Normally travel to either London or Felixstowe to get that authentic kebab but I thought I would try a little closer to home and boy what a great find. This place may not be all nice and shiny in a plush setting but who cares the authentic, freshly prepared and cooked Turkish food was some of the best I have had!! It was a birthday treat to myself and the family who all agreed that everything that we ordered and eat was fresh, tasty and well worth every penny. Fantastic owners and service and I just do not get why this place was not packed out on a bank holiday Monday!! What a waste. Still if you love fresh kebabs in a restaurant and not a dirty plastic tray on a park bench you should give it a go and help support local business. Great job guys we will be back soon.

After a number of takeaways during lockdown, we finally got round to actually having a sit down meal. And it was delicious! We ordered the hot and cold Meze platter (without calamari!), everything was so tasty, and the main courses were freshly cooked and tasted amazing. We will definitely be back. This restaurant deserves to be packed out, can’t afford to lose good restaurants like this.

I've had a few takeaways from the Sedir and really enjoyed them , so my wife and I thought we'd go and have a meal there. We were not let down ,the food was great and the salads really fresh .If you like chicken I recommend Yogurtlu chicken shish and a side dish of crushed salad.

1st time here we had a delicious meal last night .from when we walked in the staff couldn’t do enough for you . The food arrived hot & delicious really enjoyed our time here also a few extras the bread was lovely also the Greek salad didn’t eat the rice as I was stuffed with my meal thank you will be back again with friends soon

went there for the first time for a birthday party the food was fantastic. had the mix iskander and the full platter food was amazing and the service was fantastic and at the end of the meal we all had a dance u don’t get to do that in other restaurant we will be back SUPER

I come here regularly as its the tastiest restaurant in town. Has a great friendly atmosphere created by all the staff and owner. Aswell as with parties and family I will come on my own and have always felt welcome and well looked after. My personal favourite dishes are the falafel for starter, for main its a choice between the Sarma beyti kebab, or yorghutlu lamb shish. The kunefe or baclava for desert is a must aswell.

A wonderful takeaway several months ago but an awful experience now...I have no idea what has happened in such a short time but the food is poor to say the least.

We've ordered takeaways from this restaurant several times before and food was delicious, but sadly not tonight! Food was cold, looked unappetizing, order was incomplete and didn't taste good ...it cost us £32 but would only have given £2 We won't be going back and wouldn't recommend!

First time used for a Just Eat delivery. Easy to use, great menu. Paid online and it came within 30 minutes. Very very tasty and lots as well. Will definitely recommend and use again.
