In my opinion my booked room as just a step above a Premier Inn and as certainly no more than average. Breakfast service was absolute chaos and so badly managed as to be both annoying and totally pathetic. The buffet managed at one point to run out of everything, hot food such as all variations of eggs (fried, scrambled boiled etc), bacon...non available unless you wanted to wait in a queue while it was cooking, hash browns.....same story. In all fairness, they did manage to find a few slightly warm sausages and a dish of soggy, slimy mushrooms and a dish of tinned tomatoes. At one point I counted at least 25 people waiting in line for more food to be brought out. The toaster.....just one!! attracted a queue of people trying to at least get toast made. The coffee machine were another story completely with lots of bad tempered guests waiting for ages before finally giving up and being told there was another machine in a lounge we could use. To sum up......Never again!!!!! a dreadful experience that was a waste of time and money. Roy Miller.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathroom very clean. Restaurant staff all very helpful and could not do enough for you. Helen helped us with all requirements and was always around for questions. The downfall was the pool and jacuzzi which were cold. Jacuzzi was not working which was quite frustrating. Overall had a lovely relaxing break with our friends. Helen was the best.

Sedgebrook Hall is an absolute gem of a wedding venue! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings here, and every time it’s such a fun and unique experience. The venue blends elegance with a warm, welcoming vibe, and the stunning grounds are the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photos. The staff are amazing—they make sure everything runs like clockwork so you can enjoy every moment. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Northamptonshire that’s full of charm and character, Sedgebrook Hall should be at the top of your list!

Had a lovely 2 day stay for my birthday. Staff were lovely and I would like to say a big thank you to Helen (Food and Beverage Manager). She was so lovely, accommodating and made me feel at ease, as I was a solo visitor. I felt quite special and noticed that she was like that to all the other customers. The restarant service was on point and the ox cheek was delicious, cooked to perfection. Front desk, attentive and friendly. Just one thing was the pool area, not working fully, and was cold, so I was not able to use it, but a minor issue. Thank you team, especially Helen.

Awful experience. Looks very fancy but the actual rooms are in a complex and not within the building you see pictured. Comfy beds but black mold in bathroom and air vents so full of dust bunnies they hardly work. Disgusting. The food has been worse. First night the meal was basic, bland and pinkish chicken. Second night ordered trout pate.. I was given just pate, no bread or anything required to actually eat pate. To top it off I am currently violently vomiting regularly as the pate has clearly given me food poisoning. Great place for a venue or business meeting, but awful staying experience.

We stayed here for a day to celebrate my birthday. We did read reviews written here beforehand and were a bit anxious and wondered how our experience would turn out. As oppose to our concerns, it was one of the BEST spa & hotel experiences we ever had :) The hall itself is relatively small but had a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere, dinner was really amazing and breakfast was delicious. Spa is small but it wasn't busy when we were using so it was perfect for us. We will definitely come back again, thank you very much for your hospitality! :)

We have just enjoyed two nights at Sedgebrook Hall, set in lovely grounds, using the two night stay offer. Every one of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Breakfast plentiful and both evening meals were good ( a new chef I believe!). The pool and sauna can get crowded at times.

I’ve noticed there were a lot of mixed reviews on this hotel so was a little worried before we stayed here .£84 for a hotel for the night and bed and breakfast and to explore the leisure area with a jacuzzi was really nice .The jacuzzi was very small but was lovely and bubbly .The only thing was going to collect a leisure card and a towel from the front desk and to take the card back after we have finished in the leisure centre was a little strange ,other then that the food was great and the staff was lovely .I think I expected a little more just due to the pictures of the hotel reception as we stayed in the next building but other than that for what we paid I think it was spot on.I do like you can help yourself to hot drinks too which I think is a good touch .I think little things let it down like the cleaning trolleys just hanging around the building .overall a good stay and I would come again.

Lovely setting, very rural, could hear the cows in the evening. The food was nice, but remember to take cards and not cash as it's a cashless hotel. The bedroom was comfy, clean and had a lovely bathroom. My only complaint is that there's a light on the ceiling over the end of the bed (big white covering) that shone bright green ALL night and I couldn't get back off to sleep for a couple of hours once it'd woken me up. I'm assuming it's some kind of emergency lighting but the whole room was lit up. (Room 122).

Overall our experience was great. Staff are brilliant. The only points of question are room service , where on one day our room was left, despite hanging the clean the room banner out all day. Once reported it was done. And a half bottle of celebratory Prosecco was removed, but was quickly replaced. The breakfast is superb, but evening restaurant choices are unusual and limited. We had a surprise event which was superbly organised by Helen, who enhanced the event and she was brilliant throughout. All staff were great and helpful, with many examples, including Charli, Bronte, Lydia, Ryan and Beth. Overall a fabulous time and event.

Stayed here on an overnight business trip. Read the reviews previous, but wasnt booked by me and didnt check dates. From checking in, to room, evening meal and breakfast was perfect. Amazing evening meal and presentation was perfectly executed by chef. Was a wait for chips, but personally didnt order, so wasnt bothered. Fair price food and drinks for location. Lovely scenery on grounds. Attentive staff. Would stay here again. Only negative was slow wifi in conference room, but may have been external issues. Was on 2nd floor, but had fan and comfortable bed, so was out like a light. Well done staff

As a wedding photographer, I had to come here and share my experience with the wedding coordinator Helen, for the first time after being in many venues I found a wedding coordinator who went above and beyond expectations. She helped the bride to do her dress (a few of them are very complicated to put on) she made sure everything runners smooth and everyone was happy. She guided the couple through the day making sure that they wouldn't stress about anything and the little issues (that all wedding has) she made sure to sort it. Thank you Helen for making my day (as a photographer) organised and helping the lovely couple Amy & Mick happier.

Stayed here overnight after visiting family it was lovely set in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere (very peaceful) in really well kept grounds. All the staff we came into contact with were really professional at all times but very friendly and helpful. The pool was small in comparison to how it looked in the photos (and quite cold). Unfortunately there was a problem in the kitchen so they had a 1/2 menu on and I'm on a restricted diet, unfortunately the food I'd found when I went online wasn't part of the 1/2 menu that was left. The room was very clean and tidy with a really nice condiment tray that had a good variety (unfortunately only enough coffee/ tea for 1 cup each). Other than them little issues a really nice stay, I'd definitely stay again if the need arises.

Went for a weekend for my friends 40TH. Lovely rooms, good service and the manager Helen King was lovely and such a good laugh. My only concern was the food. It could have been better quality. The nachos were £8 and hardly any sauce or cheese. Had to ask for sour cream, store bought and definitely not worth the price. Burger was nice but chips were luke warm. No chapati with the Indian mixed platter it was a tortilla wrap. Curry was very bland and 1 pork belly was very grisly. Would be lovely to have a small fridge in room. Coffee machines in communal areas which is a lovely touch. Beds very comfy. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely place with friendly staff who provide excellent service. Beautiful location but this is offset to a degree for me by it's distance from any public transport route. Getting here from Northampton involves either a taxi all the way or a bus plus a 25 minute walk. The rooms are very nice but I find them a bit hot! But this is remedies by turning down the radiator and opening the window.

Popped in on Thursday this week for a spur of the moment meal. Met with a warm welcome, shown to a table with drinks and food arriving swiftly. The food was delicious. Really well presented and incredibly tasty. The belly pork was tender, with beautiful crackling and a sumptuous sauce. The clam tine and gingerbread upside down cake was unreal. Could have eaten it again! AND……very reasonably priced. For a freezing cold night, we left warm and happy. Will definitely be back.
