Reasonably comprehensive menu. Food not brilliantly presented. Wifes vegetables cold, my own mash looked and tasted as though it had been microwaved several times. We were tired and hungry so put up with it - but probably wouldn't choose it for a night out

La renovación del hotel es real impresionante. Como alguien que muchas veces un año estoy encantado de cómo este hotel ha sido agotador maravilloso nuevo arrendamiento de la vida. Ahora Holiday Inn siempre ha tenido una merecida reputación como uno de los mejores desayunos en cualquier cadena hotelera del Reino Unido. Así que ¿por qué no han elegido usar placas ahora desayuno que no son mucho más grandes en tamaño a una placa lateral!! Sí, ya sabemos que es un desayuno ayce pero persiguiendo setas alrededor de mi mesa y tener que volver porque me caben todas mis favoritos en mi placa no es realmente lo que quiero hacer. Let's vuelva a las placas antiguas y no estropear una experiencia realmente agradable para algo tan innecesario.

Just arrived after a long day travelling, we dropped out suitcases off in our room and went down to the bar to get something to eat, there was no one serving at the bar, so we stood there for about 5 mins, an another customer came behind us while we were waiting, then a middle aged man appeared behind the bar and just said "who's next", I expected a "sorry for keeping you waiting" but nothing, I said me, then I asked for a bar menu and I ordered our drinks, he gave me the menu then disappeared, he came back and asked "have you made you mind up yet" I said yes and gave him my food order, he then disappeared again, when he came back he asked for my order again, I gave him it, he disappeared again, then came back and asked me again, not once did I hear a please or thank you from him, he disappeared again, when he came back he said "what was the last thing on your order" I only ordered 2 meals, so I told him again, then we paid for our food, I said to him that I thought he was extremely rude and at the very least I would expect to have heard the words please or thank you from him, and he should have apologised for keeping us waiting, his response.... put a complaint into my manager, I am only one person and I am busy, I can only do one thing at a time and why should I apologise for keeping you waiting when you can see that I am busy. OMG how rude, I told him that I was looking towards the bar and not watching him, anyhow, how did I know he was the one working behind the bar, incidentally there was only one other customer sat in the bar! we sat down and got our drinks brought over the to the table by him, all the time I was sat there I could hear him talk about us to other customers and saw another staff member stand by the door with him behind him and stare right at us. We were having such a good day until this incident and we will not be staying here again. YOUR STAFF NEED A CUSTOMER SERVICE COURSE, that is a disgusting way for a customer to be spoken to. The staff a the Holiday Inn in Glasgow are fantastic and we stay there all the time we need to go to Glasgow, perhaps they should show the Corby staff how it should be done. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

We booked the venue for Saturday night , we ordered rose house wine is been a cheap quality , we received 3types of diffrent wines on table. We asked to be refunded for the wine left and we informed about the poor quality , but they refused the refund and they didn't apologise for the bad service. They actually ignore us.

Seasons garden centre has something for everyone. It is a traditional garden centre so yes you can actually buy stuff for the garden. From my experience it may not be the cheapest however they do have good deals and if you have the time to look there are many quirky gifts for all occasions. The café/restaurant is the jewel in the crown, fantastic home cooked food that offers real value for money. It is a good place to get ideas for the garden and treat yourself to lunch.

we had the anti pasta salad and flatbread with grilled cheese for starters- very nice & roast beef and pork for main, also very nice, a little more veg choice would be nice but still lovely

We were restricted to a package which gave us an allowance of 20 pounds each, not great but ok I suppose....it filled a hole.

We came down late for dinner because of collecting the kids from the Skatepark but nothing was too much trouble for the staff food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Breakfast was also very nice.

My wife and I had a change of restaurant today and decided to give The knightlodge Corby a go. I had the mixed grill and my wife had rump steak. Wow both were plentiful and tasty. I am a big eater and I found I had to leave some of my meal. Will be visiting again very soon to check more delicious meals.

So much potential, but sadly no where near reaching it. We visited with friends after a show at the Cube. The service is appallingly slow, lacking knowledge on the menu or availability. On two occasions the waitress had to come back to tell one of the party the food she’d chosen was not available, the first one wasn’t even stocked anymore but was still on the menu but no one told the service staff. Ordered drinks and it took the best part of 30 minutes for them to arrive. Ordered a large bottle of Proseccoto be told they only had small, then they found a large bottle, went to order a second one but they couldn’t find another one, they did still have it on the bill (was removed once requested). There is a good selection of food on the menu, all pretty much beige but we were expecting that. The food is basic, and was a bit overdone. There’s an interactive darts game, the lads added it to our bill but within minutes it stopped working. Apparently there was an interactive golf room there too which is now just used as a storage cupboard, again so much potential. If the team had a senior member of staff who takes pride in their work to improve standards and learn the hospitality trade from this place could do well. Hospitality is not easy but when done well, it can still thrive, especially in a prime location. Based on the service we had I’m not surprised there were very few people there at what should be the busiest time. I am usually a fairly generous tipper but we didn’t leave one at all, and that says a lot! We won’t be back which is a shame as we wanted to support an independent restaurant instead of Nando’s next door.

Extremely bad customer service. Very rude manager who scolds customers with foul language. At the request of my friend to put the salad in a separate dish, the manager started yelling like a psychopath, he shouted at us that he was not going to put the salad separately from the burger. He insulted my friend so terribly that we were all in shock! I have never seen such rudeness in my entire life. I will never order food from this horrible place again and would not recommend to anyone unless you want to be insulted and yelled in your face!

Ordered from justeat, first time from tiptop, order hadn't arrived after one hour so called them, told me on way. Another 30 mins later it arrived cold with food split all inside bag.. never again
