Finished work & was going to get a kebab and chips, but when i got near the picnic benches staff tried chatting me up. Didn't feel safe going in and left.

Excellent service! They couldn’t be any happier with how friendly and polite this establishment are. We ordered around £30-£40 of food and they gave us a free large sausage for our pet dog, & a 1.5ltr bottle of coke with enough disposable cups for everyone! They even came out to ask if everything is ok with our meals. Didn’t expect such great service and the chips were beautiful. Soft and fluffy in the middle & perfect crispy. Would highly recommend to anyone

Usually really nice, however on this occasion the food was terrible. The scampi was chewy and in a grey batter, which we obviously didn’t eat. The onion rings were stale. Your suppose to recieve a free garlic bread with orders over £29 however we never received this but have done previously. The food had been out for delivery for 40 mins which could explain why the food was cold. Not a good experience, I feel very dissatisfied.

Minus one if it were possible, Lunchtime today I ordered pie, peas, chips and gravy. £9.50. Elsewhere in the town its £6. After seeing the pie microwaved and the dried up old chip being served to and customer I decided to cancel and ask for a refund. The guy serving tried to convince me it was a better quality pie. My last visit there for sure

The worst food i have ever ordered! Tikka meat was inedible it was slimmy and had lots of jelly like chicken pieces. Soggy chip and cold saveloy. Partners chicken burger was a basic shop bought chicken burger! Waste of £20 will never order from them again

They don’t understand what you are asking for when taking the order. When we got the food it was tasteless, the chip were dry and hard, the fishcake was hard and cold and even the dog turned his nose up at the sausage. I will never go here again

Poor service, and unhelpful. Ordered at 6.07pm tonight for delivery and was told 20-30 minutes - 50 minutes later and nothing had arrived, so I called to chase and was told it was on it's way, and that he had left. This was clearly a lie as we live 4 minutes drive from there and he just fobbed me off! The order eventually arrived 1 hour late, and a hawaiian pizza arrived and not a farmhouse, leaving only garlic bread for a veggie, and was luke warm, but being hungry we had to heat it up in the microwave and gave up as it would be too late to eat. I wish I'd read the poor reviews before ordering. Get your act together, this is shocking and poor service and you will lose valuable customer I guess you can ill afford to lose.

Terrible place, the worst customer service we have ever experienced and missing items which they refuse to refund. Food that I wouldn’t even offer to a dog. The delivery driver HAMMERED at our door. My husband asked him not to knock like that as it would cause damage and was just totally unnecessary. At this point the driver totally lost it and shouted at my husband in front of the children and for the whole street to see. He called my husband a ‘f***ing c**t’ and told him ‘don’t order if you don’t want me knocking at your door, you’re barred’ before getting back into his car and driving away WITH THE FOOD THAT WE HAD PAID FOR!!!! My husband drove to the shop and told the Manager what had happened. The manager was rude and unapologetic. He gave my husband the food. When my Husband got it home though, there were items missing and the supposed chicken tikka shish was just normal chicken kebab meat despite costing more. It was also raw in places! We have whitenesses and photos to show to the shop but unfortunately they are not bothered. There phone is constantly off the hook. They have read but ignored messages from me requesting refund for our missing items which is basically theft. We paid and they didn’t provide! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Lovely food always great, massive portions sometimes to big. Always done promptly and always delivered hot. Would recommend seagulls for a good chippy! Not keen on the pizzas but everything else is perfect! Offer delivery to which is a bonus

I wouldn’t order food for my dog from this place. Just spent £19 on Iceland chicken nuggets for my grandson, 2 pieces of chicken that could have been 2 pieces of pigeon and a chicken nann that in the past was chunks of chicken , but tonight was shredded bits of something. Don’t waist your money.

If I could put a zero I would. Ordered food directly over the phone and ask them to say it back to me as they don't speak or understand English very well. Collected the order and took it home only to find half the order was missing and the other half was wrong but resembled something we ordered with only one person out of 6 getting what they ordered. The fried chicken was so dry it must have been in the hot cabinet all day, and this was 10:15 pm. Salad was watery and all purple from the red cabbage. They did put a few freebies in for us, however surely the first port of call should be getting what was ordered right!!!

Food was cold ,1.5 hrs from ordering ,ordered online and order wasn't correct ,had issues before, thought I'd try a gain ,never again ,worst takeaway I've had

Had pizzas, chips and sides delivered this evening. All delived on time, piping hot and delicious. Recommend highly.

Used to be okay food, but now it is the worst I have ever tried. Naan breads are no longer made to order (the clay oven looks like it is now used as a coat rack for the staff) but are premade and then put on the grill to warm them up. Waste of time as it was still stone cold and had the taste and texture of cardboard. Donner meat was tasteless and nearly as cold as the salad. After the 3 minute drive home, the chips had all stuck to the paper and looked more like mash. Service was fast, so fast the card machine and food are virtually thrown at you. No wonder the place was empty. Best part of the food was the paper it was wrapped in. 1 star is over rated

Made an order for delivery food arrived and was horrible cold chips and only a tiny amount like they had ran out meat was cold and greasey pizza is something I've never experienced ham that was luncheon meat cheese uncooked and base that was uncooked and looked like pretty cooked frozen base you can buy from any supermarket I wish I had read the reviews first will never buy anything from here again.

I say disgusting but really, my Mrs had fish and it was absolutely tasteless!! And no I haven’t got coronavirus because my kebab tasted like shizzle I’ll Never ever go there again. Rather be a skip rat and I’m not joking.

Walked in ordered my food. Asked how long it would be 10 mins later only to be rudely told ‘can’t you see we’re busy’ about 8/10 staff didn’t know how to wear a mask and when I challenged the one who had been rude to me she said that she was exempt anyway so it didn’t matter that she wasn’t wearing it properly! Too many customers in the shop no social distancing - customers not wearing masks and one was even vaping inside the shop without challenge. Oh and the food was disgusting and my order was missing parts of it. Needless to say I will not be returning

2 hours waiting and our value boxes came without the Donna meat and salad. We paid £15 and waited 2 hours for a box of chips with a piece of chicken!!

Shocking. Nearly 2 hours and still no food. Phoned several times to find out where it is. They have no clue.

Ordered at 7. Delivered 8.10... sausage despite no meat choice- instead of mushrooms, called at 0810- promised immediate delivery- not received , off to bed 9pm. 40 years a customer - Not impressed. I relayed my address 15 times - poor English, terrible service.

Placed an order for £80.90 and rang 26 times in the space of 3 hours for a strawberry milkshake to turn up that they missed off the order. 3 hours later, they are now saying it can’t be delivered as they have no driver! The pizza was cold and it was an overall disappointing delivery!

We ordered on line and followed the time line for the delivery. When it said out for delivery, we got the plates ready and waited and wait and waited. After a while, I rang the bar up. They told me they where busy and it's on it's way.I rang a further 3 times and was told the same. When it did arrive we only got half the order. I asked the driver where the other food was and he shouted it is on another car. When I asked why. He became very rude.Will never use this establishment again. Food was cold

Ordered at 11:45am on their website with an ETA of 45-60 mins, in the end after having to call them the food finally arrived 1h 45mins later!Had the food be fantastic I maybe would have let this go but unfortunately, it was very poor food, it's sad to say when the can of Coca Cola was the best part. We have many other chip shops in Hucknall and we will go back to using them for our works chip shop Friday.

Ordered family food. The order was wrong. Rang up they replaced our order with fresh food....free bottle of pop and a sorry on the box.staff on the phone was polite and the lady driver polite. Firstly, the management need to look at their staffs attitudes, especially the young tall slim girl. She WAS SO RUDE, if she were my staff I wouldn’t allow her to speak to customers in the way she regularly does. Secondly, the food is so inconsistent and recently VERY poor, my tip is to go elsewhere, not worth being spoken to in the way they do and don’t risk the inconsistent food.

I have been ordering takeaway with these for a few year while paying with card yet today I got told no longer take card on phone and haven't for 2 years. What a load of poo. I'll take my money elsewhere. Wouldn't waste your time. Shocking service and management.

Seagulls as gone down hill first centre of my pizza was soggy then found 3 dog hairs in my food rank

I've had a few deliveries from here in the past and they've been ok. Tonight's fish and chips was far from ok. I ordered a large cod. When I unwrapped it the best description I can give it is mangled. It looked like it had been folded in half before being wrapped. The batter wasn't at all crispy, quite rubbery really. Everything was lukewarm at best. The mushy peas were like cold, watery bullets. I ended up throwing it away.

Lovely dinner and ideal for a quick tea when you dont fancy cooking! Chicken salad is lovely minus the bread...

Lovely Chips and the batter on the fish was crispy. I was really impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Very clean and professional.

been using this place for nearly 30 years through various owners and always had good food when collected . Ordered online for delivery last night and the pizza was good but i ordered a large doner kabab and what i got was smaller than most childrens portions and splodged on top of a ripped pitta . dont think i will be ordering online from them anymore .

I've ordered from hear quite alot but today I experienced shocking service.i ordered online and it said delivery between 45-60 mins. After an hour and 15 mins I phoned up and the delivery was at my door 2 mins later but far from hot,hardly even warm. The batter was soggy and the sauce from the curry and beans had soaked into the paper. It had obviously been sat around for an hour or more. Revolting.

Took 2 hours for delivery and when it came it was stone cold. Advised we could have a refund and when they driver came back to give us the refund he made us get all the bags out of the bin and commenced dissecting the cold repugnant food on my doorstep attracting rodents from the pieces of onion he left on my door mat!! After the dissection had finished he them refused to give me my money back as the pieces of the pizza puzzle didn’t add up.

Waiting a while for order, items missing and chips not the best. Better places for chips but pizza is great.

A very good choice for a takeaway menu lots of items cooked to order so guaranteed to be hot and fresh

Have been ordering from this place for a while but with so many competitors in Hucknall we have been trying other places.

Ordered online at 520 said it would be 30 to 45 mins after 45 mins it online service informed me my food was on its way then it got to an hour and half no sign of it so rang up to be told there's no order to which I replied yes there is then was told it hadn't even been made yet it will be here in 15 mins and was it still another 35 mins.so about 2 hours I was waiting for food never ordering from here again.god knows why it's telling me my foods on the way when it hasn't even made it up.

Ordered food at 7.25pm and had to wait over an hour and a half despite being informed my delivery would be with me in 30-45 minutes. Called to chase and was advised it would be with me 5-10 minutes. It arrived 30 minutes later and wasn't piping hot. It was warm but turning cold as though it had been left waiting. In comparison to previous orders they had also not even given a decent portion! Not sure I'll be a customer of there's in the future!

Ordered a delivery at 18:00 tonight via online app, was told this would be 30-45 mins, 60 mins later I called the shop and was told it would be a few mins, 20 mins after that I called again and was told again it was on its way I asked for a refund and was told this was not possible and the phone was put down on me. I called back and at 19:25 the order arrived which I was not willing to accept, the delivery driver was rude and aggressive. The manager agreed to refund me but only after lots of persistence, I only wanted them to be honest and not lie to me at every opportunity- not impressed!!

Ordered from their online service at 5:30pm. It said 30-45 mins for delivery. 7:30pm I’m still waiting. What’s worse is that when I finally got through on the phone after 9 attempts at 7pm, they said it would be 5 mins. If you’re busy, JUST SAY!! I’m now late going out and I still can’t get through on the phone to cancel. Waste of time.

Ordered from here at 7.13pm was told 50-65 mins... It's now 9.15pm and still no food. Kids hungry I've had to cook them something else now... So when it does come there's no point. Rang them but it's constantly engaged. No reply.. crap app as every time you refresh it starts again so you never get a true representation of where your order is at. Thought I'd give them a try as new to the area. WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN... also not even a courtesy call to tell us why it's an hour late. Baring in mind it's 2hours since the order... It's local.. I could of cooked the bloody chips myself by now. Absolute joke.

ordered a create your own pizza to collect but none of my fillings was added when I got home they made me just a margarita even that I put my phone number as it says if they have any queries about your order .even if I did some thing wrong in not adding my fillings it did say create your own and that is not a margarita .when I rang all they said is that I can come down and see the print out.I used to have the fish and chips from here at least once or twice a week but not going back due to bad customer service

Después de una hora intenté sonando sólo para ser ocupados por teléfono media hora este servicio es abismal definitivamente no los recomendaría. Si quieres tu comida a un precio razonable escala de tiempo sin fin en otro lugar.

So I ordered 2 sheish kebab AND large chips at 6.02pm it arrived at 7.05 just 2 kebabs both full of tomatoes not much else as far as salad goes I looked for chips no chips rang them he said I didn't order them but I no I said it but he probably wasn't listening but he said I will send them this time not again so then I told them about the salad wasn't very helpful very defensive but he said I'll send you more so I put my food in the oven expecting the rest of my order to arrive soon but no 8pm came my salad still no chips so I rang again they said you haven't ordered chips by then I was getting angry so I just said I want my chips I wasn't even hungry by then but I would of just wanted them to see if they brought them 815pm chips arrive I got a apologie but that was it never never again

A menudo la orden desde aquí y he tenido unas cuantas malas experiencias pero la mayoría bien. Hoy la comida tardó 1. 5 horas de ser entregado y cuando llegamos, estaba helada. Llamó sólo para ser maltratados y decir que era un cliente difícil, que se había quejado 4 veces. Les expliqué que yo no perdería mi noche quejándose sin razón, pero el 'manager' decia que estaba haciendo que la comida estaba fría. No daría un reembolso a menos que lo recogerá la comida; por qué razón no lo sé. Cuando me pida comida espero que se entregue caliente. Servicios para llevar tienen un deber de servicio al cliente y gaviotas han fracasado, una y otra vez. Sin duda no habrá jamás volver aquí me he dado demasiadas oportunidades. No sólo es la mala comida, pero el servicio al cliente es aún peor. Respeto completo y grosero no es la respuesta que esperaba recibir cuando alguien paga por un servicio.

Yo bastante a menudo de escuchar, ofrecen a domicilio, lo cual es bueno. Yo particularmente disfrutar del sur de pollo frito. La comida es siempre caliente cuando llegue y gustos encantador.

Este solía ser genial pero ahora enormemente exagerados nuevos precios que sólo puedo imaginar paga la 7 miembros del personal allí esta noche mientras dos clientes necesitaba que sirve? ? ? ! ! Utilizan el más barato de envases que se traduce en nuestro kebabs arruinada y mayoría de nuestros chips de estar unido al papel.

Worst chippy in hucknall without a shadow of a doubt!!! Stand there waiting for about an hour why they fanny around. Kebab meat tastes like plastic and the pizzas taste like the smell of smelly feet

This is our local chippy and the food is delicious chip portions are generous and their chicken shish kebabs are great! They also offer a takeaway service.Some of the staff don't seem to know the meaning of 'lots of salt & vinegar' but that's just a personal preference of mine!

The kebabs are bloody lovely, someone had put try the pitta i read on here) - well tried the naan.These are freshly made on the premises and are lush, mixed meat kebab I had - whilst the hubby had a pizza. He said his was nice - I didn't get a chance to try nor did he have a chance to try mine. The staff are lovely, this place now has become our weekend treat night choice.

The donna kebabs and the chicken tikka kebabs in pitta are really good! Generous amounts of meat complimented by huge salads and your choice of sauce! Cannot fault it! The pizzas are also very good and I have never had a takeaway from there feeling disappointed!!I tend to avoid the chips because they are a little bit too sad and droopy for my liking but that's my own personal opinion.

Ordered off the website last night, the money got took out of my account and no food was delivered!! When I rang the shop the phone wasn't answered.

The service is always friendly and the portions are always generous, can't fault the place. When we have asked for a pizza delivery it has always arrived promptly and the staff are always friendly. Love it.

This used to be really good but it's definitely gone downhill of late. Girl wrote down cheeseburger so I corrected her and she confirmed beef burger but what should turn up but a cheeseburger (which was cold at that). They have agreed to send a replacement however (which we are still waiting for). I guess you get what you pay for but cheap food shouldn't mean cold incorrect food.

Waited 45 minutes for delivery when the food came it was cold delivery driver was polite however had to chuck the chips away as stone cold. Nann bread was ok but that's all was able to eat

Waited an hour and a half to find our order hadn't even been started. Not happy. Our family was looking forward to it after a good review from a friend, but we won't be ordering from them again.

Donna meat is nice. They charge 50p for a 2p polestrine cup after spending £10. Also there are brick like bits in the chicken meat, I thought a filling had feel out. And they would only do something about it if I was to drive all the way back.

The food here is great, freshly cooked and ample portions.The kebabs and pizzas are fantastic.The only thing letting this place down is the staff. 3 out of the last 4 times I have used this place the order has been wrong. That includes delivery and collection. The girls behind the counter seem to be too busy talking to each other to listen to what you want or give you the food that you ordered.Would I use this place again, maybe. Would I recommend it ? Yes, but check your order before you leave.

Been on holiday for 2 weeks .. The family come and see us all , me and the wife are starving .. The family say .. Ooh have ya tried seagulls on beauvale estate .. Bloody lovely they say .. Ya get massive portions of chips and kebabs are lovely

Ordered using the website online, placed order and payed using paypal. I received an email to tell me my order was cooking and would be delivered in 30-40mins. An hour and a half later - NO food. Been trying to call for last 10 minutes with no answer. Husband took a drive up and the shop is closed! Now have to faff with paypal to get my money back.Food is normally lovely but will find somewhere else as feel the website is set up to con people.
