Seafront Palace in Ceredigion

Delivered direct to a caravan which is great, quick service and friendly. all dishes were very nice, pleanty of good quality ingrediants. was on holiday, but if i am near there again would definately call in!

Tried here as good reviews here,not disappointed, good portions, good quality, prompt service,only takes cash but not an issue.

I have eaten Chinese food all over the country, in posh resturants, take aways and from street stalls. I have ony been to the Seafront Palace twice as I live 200 miles away but on both occassions I was stinned by the quality and the service. I'm going back again this weekend and my mouth is already watering!

Takeaway order: salt and pepper chips, special fried rice and sweet and sour sauce. Reasonably priced. And very, VERY tasty.

Here on holiday in quite a remote location but delivery driver knew exactly where we was and was really friendly. Food was soo tasty, not greasy... just fantastic. Shame they don’t deliver to Cornwall.

Ordered my favourite takeaway for my birthday meal on the 12th September 2019 and it didn’t disappoint! I’m a big lover of a Chinese and think that our local at home is pretty good, although I can safely say that this was the best Chinese I have had in a while! Ordered duck and plum that had plenty of flavour, veg and wasn’t short on lovely crispy duck!! To top that all off, they even delivered to our caravan site near Borth to save a wet journey in the car for a very reasonable fee. loved it and would definitely recommend them.

We have ordered from here now a few times, and it’s always great food! They deliver to our caravan site in llandre, straight to the caravan door, the prices are also very reasonable! They are more than happy to adapt dishes to suit (my wife can’t eat the egg noodles in chow mein, so they happily change to rice noodles for her) I’m sure we’ll be ordering again this weekend! Definitely recommend!

Second visit to this area can't fault the food always top quality great value wish it was closer to home would definitely use it

Needing food after a late finish, Chinese seemed like a great idea. Fast service by a very polite, well mannered gentleman meant we could excitedly get home to eat some great food. Sadly I didn't get to eat great food. My mushroom and pea curry had little flavour or heat. I should know now that I'm not a big Chinese food fan as I have this problem. In most places. I also ordered broccoli satay. Expecting a lovely sweet peanutty sticky sauce, my mouth was violated by the taste of hot pineapple. The whole dish tastes like the inside SpongeBob's house. Really over powering. Finally a chilli quick came through. However, no nuttiness and I couldn't appreciate the spice after the fruit abuse.

Excellent takeaway food with delivery service, average price, plenty of choice with full menu on google.

On holiday for the week, very happy with the Chinese we ordered this evening, it was prepared very quickly, not heavily greasy, would recommend 👍🏻

We had a fabulous takeaway from here on Saturday night. The guy taking the order gave excellent advice on gluten free choices. The food was very tasty and was still hot when we came to eat it after a 15min drive back to Borth.

My partner and I decided to go away for the weekend in Aberystwyth. After some drinks we were hungry and craving chinese and came across this brilliant takeaway on the seafront. The guy on the desk is incredible - so so good at his job & the food is so delicious, in fact we ended up having 3 takeaways from here in two days because of these factors! So glad we stumbled across this gem - and next time we’re in Aberystwyth we will definitely be visiting the Seafront Palace!

The guy on the desk handles the pressure of the phone and walk ins from the street really well and for the last 4 years we've always gone here for holiday food but not any more.

Finding a good Chinese takeaway is like trying to find a pair of jeans that fit well: you have to try on few but once you've got one you stick with them. So when you are away and forced to try a new take-away it's normally with a degree of trepidation. We picked the Seafront palace based on the other reviews and I cannot disagree with all the positive ones: the guy taking our phone order was unusually (for take-aways) pleasant. We went to collect and it was ready about 10 minutes after the requested time (not an issue and better than having it sat around). We ordered 3 mains, the chow Mein and mini pancake rolls. Order was correct and hot and the smell in the car home suggested we were not going to be disappointed. Shredded beef was a good as we've had anywhere. The chicken in Ya Mai sauce was a new one on me: but was great, perfect amount of chilli heat (hot but without blowing your head off or hiding the other flavours), touch of sweetness and a hint of peanut. Plenty of chicken and chunky, crispy veg. Chow Mein had great flavour. Only slight negative was that we've had better chilli and salt chicken, but it was still nice. Highly recommend.

Lovely food, extensive menu, good prices.

First time eating from here, the food was packed with meat & the tastes were delicious. Me & my partner agreed this is the best Chinese we've ever had & we're both in our late 30's & lived in several cities. Value for money was excellent considering a lot of Chinese these days charge the earth. Highly recommended you try it :)

Gone eleven o'clock and hunger kicking in I ventured out to find somewhere still open. Like a moth a drawn to a bright open sign down near the peir. Chinese is not normally my cuisine of choice but always love to try somewhere different.

Quick service, large portions, great food and good value for money. Would definitely eat from here again.

They were happy to amend some dishes for us to make them suitable for vegans, the man that works in reception was lovely. Food was very tasty and filling. Will definitely go back when we return to Aberystwyth!

Decided to go here instead of our usual just for a change really. The food was great, really tasty. Good customer service too. Changed a couple of things in a dish which was no problem. My only gripe is that the spare ribs were really tough so perhaps something could be done about that but will defo return. Highly recommended.

After a long 3.5 hour drive over the Clarach Bay we were tired and hungry, it was getting late so we decided to drive into Aberystwyth to find some food! We parked right outside the door and ordered our usual food that we would have a home! The food was cooked quite quickly and we drive back to our caravan. Food was still hot and tasted great! Would recommend this place and we will be getting takeaway again soon! Thanks

Spending a cold half term break in a chalet at Clarach Bay we felt the need for a decent takeaway... Some internet searching later we hit on the Seafront Palace which we'd walked past earlier in the day. Reviews on here have a glowing opinion so we called to see if they'd deliver to us. Yes of course was the response. Extremely polite staff, with good knowledge of allergens were happy to tailor the food to avoid 2 different needs. Delivery time was to be 35 minutes but arrived in 25!

Sat in the caravan, can't be bothered to cook after a long day at the beach so we decide to take a chance and go for a Chinese takeaway. After reading a few reviews on TripAdvisor about the best takeaway in Aberystwyth we finally settle on the Seafront Palace.

We were on holiday, at Clarach Bay, holiday village, we rang to order a Chinese takeaway, absolutely outstanding service! Delivered within the half an hour, very friendly delivery driver, food really hot and tasty and good quality, we used the takeaway again.

Really nice curry and lemon chicken. We have been using Seafront Palace for years, by far the greatest Chinese take away in town. Staff are very friendly and food is so nice. By far the best Chinese take away in Aber!

Has great sweet-sour soup and vegetable rolls (called vegetable pancakes here) , quick and attentive, and the food was packed well for take-out complete with an offer of utensils. . It's better than the place next door,

I have eaten here once, and never again for me. the food that came was overly greasy, bland, and just not worth the money. I ordered a special chow mein, and it was just overcooked and I ended up throwing it in the bin without barely eating it. Not worth the time or money

Love the food here, Clean tasty, good portions and as said before the delivery man is so friendly you want to invite him in to share the meal. So helpful if you want to change an ingredient in the meal. I don't eat onions. Not a problem. All freshly cooked per order. Yum.

have tried all the other chinese eats in aber, but this place never fails to please. the food is always of good quality and portion size. even do delivery, so what can be better, it is really fresh and very tasty. the staff are always polite and helpful, the delivery guy is brilliant. A1! thanks.

We stay in a tourer caravan most weekends at glan y mor clarach and eat on a Friday night from here! Food is always yummy and they deliver right to our tourer door! Never no problems and happy to help! Delivery man is very friendly and happy chap!

From the look of it was expecting a mediocre, flavour-less Chinese BUT I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality AND quantity, not to talk about the price! :-) very tasty, very filling and very good value for money :-) highly recommend.

Ordered a takeaway and was told half an hour, an hour later we got a phone call that the driver was lost (we live in town in a well used street). When it arrived the order was wrong Id asked for an adaption to the meal that was ignored. A good job I didn't have any allergies! The food was ok, chicken balls taste like pepper, I have to say their prawn crackers are the best I've ever had. But after half an hour the stomach pains started and I felt very ill.I won't be using them again the food is definatley dodgy!

We have been using this outlet for several years,having tried others,we always return,because it offers reliability ,consistent quality over all the menu,very pleasant staff and value for money, highly recommended.

I had wanted a light dinner and something more healthy than what Aberystwyth pubs had to offer, so I decided on Chinese for steamed vegetables and soup. It was fresh, tasty, and inexpensive. Good quality food for price paid.

Visited here recently, hadn't been for a while. Food was lovely and really tasty. Will defo be coming here more often. Literally inhaled my food. Yum!

Only reason I decided to have my takeaway here is because all the other Chinese places were closed. My first impression of the place was disappointing as the inside smelled of cigarettes rather than aromatic food. I ordered chicken chow mein and had to wait longer for it than in the other Chinese place I usually go to, but it might have been because it was getting busy. My meal was edible but I didn't enjoy it. The chicken was dry and tastless, possibly even not as fresh as I'd like. I think I'll stick to different Chinese, although it's good in case of emergency when other places are closed.

This is definitely my go to Chinese takeaway, absolutely love the crispy aromatic duck, may have to have some from here tonight now :)

My partner and I always go here for a Chinese takeaway meal. There's no tables to sit and eat, but the food's good and not too pricey. Staff are friendly too. Portions are good, with usually a good dinner and a reheat lunch. Don't expect the flavours to be original or exceptional. It's just a good, honest, family run takeaway in a small Welsh town.

I tried all the Chinese restaurants and take away in Aber and can say that this one is the best one! Chicken and mushrooms in black bean sauce and deep fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce are the best!!!

Got a take away from here tonight after reading the previous review.It was very busy and the phone did not stop whilst I was waiting for mine to be cooked.Overall quality of the food was poor and tasteless. Portion sizes were huge though!

The Kam Sing next to the seafront palace is a good Chinese. The best in Aberystwyth definately. As a family we love Chinese food and as any lover of the cuisine knows every restaurant has its amazing dishes and its unfortunate mishaps!Kam Sing Speciality - The sweetest most amazing 'Crispy Shredded Beef' and an amazing Lemon Chicken. Not so good Vegetarian Pancake rolls and Chop suey.
