We recently stayed at the Seafield Arms Hotel and we had a great time. It is a family run hotel and pub which is extremely clean and welcoming. The food was excellent and the staff (Helen and Colin) were very welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home. We had a great time and we will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here while working in the area. I can honestly say it's that the staff and locals are that welcoming, that it feels as though you're staying with family. Highly recommend staying here.

To celebrate the recent birth of my grandson, his Dad hired a mini bus and a party of us decided to do a tour of the local hostelries. First stop of was the Seafield Arms in Rothes. First impressions was a rather drab bar, both exterior and interior. However first impressions can be misleading. A friendly barmaid coped with a sudden influx of about twenty bus passengers with no problems. Service was quick and there was a good range of drinks to cater for all tastes. Then a further influx of football supporters arrived for a Highland League match and again our doughty barmaid coped with this admirably. The result a great atmosphere and definitely a bar well worth visiting. I believe the hotel has a few letting rooms and does meals but I have no details of this.

After a long drive, we were in search of some hot food and decided on the Tandoori. We were the only ones in. Food was delivered fairly quickly. We opted for a Lamb tandoori tikka and Paneer Bombay Special with pilau and mushroom rice. Food was piping hot and tasted nice. The chap who served us, I think was keen to get off home so we ate our food as quick as we could.

While staying at findhorn bay camp site we decided to try Pizza for a quick meal . We had ham and pineapple pizza , garlic bread with feta dip and finished it off with tiramisu. It did not disappoint, especially the tiramisu.Decent size of pizza , plenty for 2 of us with 2 slices left to eat later .Didn’t have long to wait .

Our B&B host recommended the place so we give it a try. We started with the locally famous cullen skink that was one of the best we had in Scotland. My wife took the Scottish chicken and I went for the deep-fried Scottish prawns. Both were tasty and fine. Portions were generous so we skipped the dessert. Nice settings, friendly staff , reasonable prices.
