A lot cod already cooked on display so asked for haddock so it would be fresh. The haddock was good the chips were barely cooked. I said they need to go back in fryer and was told it was fresh oil and they were new potatoes and I didn't know anything about chips. This I found amusing as I grew up on a farm where we grew a lot of potatoes. Good fish, rubbish chips.

There is a much more well known chippie in Walthamstow but Sea Fryer is far better. Each time we have eaten here the fish has been really tasty, with lovely, thin and crispy batter. The chips are delicious and big portions. Well worth a visit.

I’ve been to most of the chippys in Walthamstow and this is the one I’ve stuck with. Never lets me down. Friendly guy who runs it and hes happy to cook stuff fresh if you ask and the chips are lovely and yum yum yum! Go.

Fish Friday on an outing we saw a blue Fish Bar with a dangling fish on the outside indicating a fish and chip shop which also caters for Halal needs. The choice is take away or eat on the premises so we chose the latter. As there are no facilities on the premises we were offered wipes to refresh and clean our hands from the tube ride. The fish was cooked whilst you wait this was enjoyed with a very crispy batter and solid chips accompaniment with mushy peas too. Various canned drinks available. Plastic knives and forks or the classic tiny wooden fork salt and vinegar on the very clean tables and comfortable chairs. The service was good and friendly.

What an experience - A six course Latin American taster in a refurbished 1967 Victoria tube train that was amazing. From the unique environment to the authentic food made by the Head chef, Beatriz, who explained her inspiration and heritage for each of the dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented without the pretentious nonsense, layers of flavours and textures, which left you wanting more. Service by our waiter, Chris, also added to the overall experience too, which just made it even more special. Food and drinks flowed with ease throughout the evening, as lasted about 2.5 hours. Easy to get to and parking nearby was free after 6.30pm, so safe walking to and from in the dark.

Came a little early for my reservation but was not turned away. Lovely experience and surprisingly fast service for what we ordered. Definitely recommend it.

Halal BBQ Brisket: A Delightful Experience Tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned, the halal BBQ brisket was a culinary delight. The robust crust and tangy BBQ sauce complemented the meat wonderfully. Generous portions and beautiful presentation added to the experience. Ideal for BBQ lovers and halal diners, this brisket is a must-try.
