A Luxurious Getaway with Unbeatable Views I recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at Sea Containers London, and it was nothing short of an exceptional experience. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option in the city, the value for money is evident in every facet of the stay. First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. Nestled along the River Thames, the hotel offers stunning views of iconic landmarks such as St. Paul's Cathedral and the London Eye. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a nightcap, the scenery adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your stay. The hotel itself is immaculate, with a modern design that combines elegance and comfort. Each corner is tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail is apparent, from the stylish furnishings to the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. Don't forget to pay a visit to the spa! The staff and services on offer are absolutely worth indulging in. The therapists are skilled and attentive, providing a relaxing experience that melted away the stress of travel. I left feeling rejuvenated and ready to explore more of the city. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this hotel provides an unforgettable base for your London adventures.

Great hotel with, really excellent location and wonderful views from the rooms, rooms a little small, even for superior, but a fantastic vibe and lovely staff.

**5 stars** Our stay at the *Sea Containers* Hotel in London was excellent. Located right on the River Thames and offering spectacular views of landmarks such as St. Paul's Cathedral, the location really can't be beat. From here we were able to explore the city wonderfully, both on foot and using the nearby public transport. We originally booked a Superior Room with two queen-size beds, but found that this room was a bit too narrow for two adults and two children. However, the hotel staff was extremely accommodating and allowed us to upgrade to a balcony suite. This suite had an excellent layout, plenty of space and stunning views of the River Thames and the London skyline. The large bathroom with an additional guest toilet was particularly pleasant, which was perfect for our family stay. A detail that we noticed positively: water bottles in the suite were refilled daily, a small gesture that made the stay even more pleasant. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and attentive - we felt well looked after. The breakfast was varied and of high quality. Although there wasn't a large selection of nuts or special muesli ingredients such as almonds or coconut flakes, there was a very good selection of prepared dishes such as Bircher muesli and chia seed pudding as well as various cereals and milk alternatives. The freshly baked baguette, croissants and other pastries were also delicious. I would particularly like to highlight the high-quality tea that was offered - a pleasure to start the day with. The hotel itself is tastefully and luxuriously decorated, befitting the standards of a 5 star hotel. The service was always courteous, but you should be a little patient at breakfast, as the waiting times for drinks were sometimes a little longer. The food in the hotel restaurant was also of high quality. The soundproof windows ensured that no noise from outside penetrated inside, which was a big plus given the central location. The air conditioning was slightly audible, but it wasn't a problem. A small point of criticism is the mattresses, which we found a bit too soft - but that was completely fine for a stay of three to four nights. We would particularly like to praise the manager at the reception, who impressed us with his friendliness and professionalism, as well as the entire team at the reception. Everyone was very welcoming and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Overall, we had a wonderful time at *Sea Containers* and can highly recommend this hotel. It offers great service, an outstanding location and impressive rooms - ideal for an unforgettable stay in London.

The suite was nice. Bed was comfortable. The couch was a little too soft and difficult to get up from. The staff were nice. The car parking is a nightmare. The car park isn’t signposted. You have to be escorted to a parking spot after you’ve checked in. I ended up parking in the building opposite the hotel. This is quite impractical if you need to pop to the car to grab anything. It’s £45 to park the car for an overnight stay. This hotel also charges a discretionary 5% fee for house keeping and service charge. The location itself is fantastic. Pharmacy opposite. Waitrose and Gail’s a short walk away. It’s an easy walk to Borough Market etc.

Great location, 4 mins walk from Blackfriars. Staff were nice. Rooms were lovely, clean, spacious, bed was comfy but pillows could do with being a little firmer. Very quiet at night. Dropping a star because upon check out we were told that our bill was all pre-paid but that we had one outstanding charge. And that charge was a service charge for the staff at the hotel. Discretionary, the lady added, afterwards. We asked her to remove it because: 1. A production company was filming whilst we were there, lots of disruption and they were using Lyaness, so it wasn't open to the public. 12th knot was also closed. Therefore there was no where to have an evening drink except the restaurant, not great service offerings there. 2. We had a drink in the restaurant and tipped your staff there already why do we need to do it again upon checking out? 3. Inform your guests of this charge at the beginning of their stay, don't add it on as a charge to their bill and blind side them at the end of their stay. 4. Explain who will be getting this service charge and how it's worked out between the staff, otherwise it just looks like you've invented your own city tax. 5. Most importantly - pay your staff a decent wage, which in the UK you would hope to God that you would, so you don't need to rely on double tipping from your guests. Overall, the hotel is nice, but that left a bitter taste.

Stayed for 2 nights in Sea Containers and absolutely loved it. The staff were the friendliest I’ve ever come across from the time we walked in through the front door (a member of staff came and took our bags) to members of staff that showed us around the bar and spa area just because we were curious. The room was huge (we had a studio) and was spotlessly clean with everything you’d need. The building is beautiful and we were over the moon with our stay. Thanks very much to all the staff at Sea Containers.

Modern rooms, bed is way too soft. And maybe it's a UK hotel thing. Ventilation is way too loud still

Great views and great atmosphere! Was a bit baffled at paying for service charge on cocktail rounds which was the only annoying thing otherwise we would’ve drunk there all night!

We booked our stay at Seacontainers a few months in advance, knowing full well that it wouldn't be a cheap pleasure: 6 nights for over 3,000 euros, where others go on longer vacations. About 10 days before our arrival we received a message from the hotel that they had decided to automatically add 5% as a tip, which for us was 150 euros! Without knowing what the service is like… When we got our room, it was theoretically fine, but it had little to do with what was offered on the internet. We were told that all the decorations had only been put away two weeks ago and that it still looks a bit dreary at the moment. But we could have another room for only 100 euros extra, instead of over 3,000, now over 3,600 euros. Since the new room was really nice on the Thames side, we took it. This room was really great, but both rooms have fewer stars on average. We had two televisions in our room, but not a single German channel, but all RAI, many French, Dubai, Qatar, Oman and many other Arabic channels. German customers are either worthless or very rare in the hotel. Upon arrival we also received a welcome drink on the roof terrace. We wanted to redeem it in the evening, but unfortunately I was denied access with my camera. You can take photos with your cell phone, but not with a real camera!!! Why? That's just how it is! The breakfast buffet is perfectly fine if you stay in a three-star hotel somewhere in the country for 150 euros: 1 type of cold meat, 2 types of ham, 2 types of cheese plus scrambled eggs, fried tomatoes, fried mushrooms and bratwurst were the whole hearty offering. No salmon or other fish, a mini-mini bread selection and such “extraordinary” things as: B. an egg tart or a cappuccino only at an additional cost! All in all, the hotel is beautifully located on the Thames, if you have a room on that side: wonderful. It is also very accessible due to its close proximity to Black Friars train station. And the neighborhood offers a lot of interesting and beautiful things. But you can also pay handsomely for it. In my opinion, it is significantly too high for the performance, hence the relatively poor rating.

The rooms were great, and the location was well situated. I would stay here again, but I wouldn't eat here. As always, the mini bar is significantly overpriced. I recommend staying away, there are a few convenience stores and coffee shops within 500 metres.

A fantastic hotel, the reception staff is very welcoming and professional, the river view room was great, preteen, amazing London skyline, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Lyoness at the ground floor serves the best cocktails in town. We left something in the room accidentally and i picked it up a couple of days later with no fuss. Thank you housekeeping! Will definitely stay again.

Stayed here with family (2 adults + 2 kids). One of the better hotel experiences I've had in Europe (been traveling here for 40+ years). Rooms were great (we had a balcony king suite which was perfect for the family). Room size was much bigger than standard London rooms. Views on the river were good, location was convenient but away from the massive crowds of Green Park and Soho. From a detail standpoint: there was minimal noise and light pollution at night in the room which allowed for undisturbed sleep. The staff were very professional. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had Chicken Tikka Masala (which had coconut in it, and was divine!) Sag Aloo, Peshawar naan, onion bhaji and vegetable samosas. All of these items were cooked in front of me and were absolutely delicious. Portions are big and really good value for money. I will definitely be using this place again. Service is friendly, but could be a little quicker. Apart from that, this food is authentic (I've been to India many times, and this is the real deal!) delicious and good value for money.

I recently visited and had a BLT bagel with a coffee. The bagel was really tasty and fresh, which I loved! The coffee, while decent, wasn't anything extraordinary. The café had a lively and busy atmosphere, which I appreciated, but the space is a bit tight. If it had been fully packed, I probably wouldn't have stayed. Also, the long seats weren't very comfortable for a longer visit. Overall, a good experience with great food. Food is very well priced too!
