Excellent as always. Steak was cooked Blue (as requested) and was actually blue. Soup was great. Staff always very friendly and attentive.

Thought we would try here for lunch. With my wife and son. We had starters and main meal. My wife had the chicken tempura. She thought was really nice. I had the haggis neeps & tatties. Which was very nice. My wife and son had steak pie Both agreed the pastry was too hard. Both agreed it wasnt worth £18.45. I had the mac & cheese. Which had a nice flavour. And thought was very good. I also ordered loaded. Fries.. i didnt eat as they were rock hard. My son said to me his were hard too. I ordered desert which didnt arrive. So i asked server for bill which didnt arrive. For over 20mins and we just wanted to leave. I went to the bar and asked manger for bill. So kind of ruined the experience. Because we had to wait so long for desert not to arrive then wait to long to keave So only 3 stars. And chatged us for desert we didnt have. Dont no if we would return again

Came here for some lunch. First time. There was three adults and were put on a small table which is definitely only for 2 people. So not a good start. We had starters Which were good. The mains were steak pie And mac & cheese. All were very good. I ordered desert which didn't arrive. After waiting 15mins I just asked for the bill. Server said did desert not arrive. I said no. Can I have the bill. Bill didn't arrive for over 25mins & my dining guests were getting fed up. I even had to ask manager for bill. As server busy dealing with new customers. Really ruined the visit. Also charged me for Desert we didn't have. Don't think we will return .left tip for server.

We went here twice in December and on each occasion we had a lovely meal.

Newish restaurant on the Greenock waterfront with beautiful interior design. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Experienced various servers who were all pretty friendly. There was a slight mix up with one of the food orders which was rectified quickly although the correct dish when it arrived was a little undercooked probably because it was rushed through. No major problem though as was vegetarian dish. Soft drinks were comped as a means of making up for mistake. Would recommend the mushrooms on toast starter!

Returned to Scott's for lunch a few weeks ago. Very disappointed with the fish goujons. Lots of batter with tiny slivers of fish inside. I wish now I'd sent it back, but I'd been so busy concentrating on returning the tartare sauce with was sour.

Hi I want to thank your Manager and staff for her wonderful kindness when me and my sister were in for lunch last week. This time of year is very difficult for me and there compassionate gesture was very much appreciated they are a credit to your company and you should be so proud of such caring staff. Food was lovely, service was good although asked for water twice,never got any. I had a strawberry daiquiri which was tasteless and took me over an hour and 3 straws to drink it was just a glass of coloured ice. The table for 2 was round and very small not enough room , I won't be rushing back.

All two courses we had were top quality

The dining experience was just wonderful. The staff were friendly and attentive I was there on the snowy Saturday we recently had so it was not packed which added to the experience. Have booked again !!

Food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly. Service can be slow at times, especially when busy. The restaurant is nicely designed with a good atmosphere and the views are stunning especially on a nice clear day. Prices are not cheap but for the type of restaurant I'd say it's not expensive either and if you make use of the loyalty card there are great deals to be had. Highly recommend for a nice meal

This place keeps disappointing me. During my last visit with family we did not get ANY attention from members of staff, nobody ever came back to us with menus or took an order for drinks within 40 (FOURTY!) minutes. It was a regular week day, restaurant was not busy at all. We had to pull out our phones and find Menus online. We also asked to bring us water more than 4 times and each servant forgot to do it. Cutleries are scratched and sometimes you can see food spots on them, same with glasses. Nobody washes it out properly. Bill for 4+ people could cost £250+. Menu is the same and never changing, once my cocktails were made by servant and there was absolutely no bartender in place. Do NOT recommend, unless you hire proper management and give proper instructions to the members of staff. Plus, maybe hire a chef that actually has an experience making great meals. Ingredients combinations SUCKS.

A beautiful setting. Fabulous food. 2 thoroughly enjoyed their Sunday roast and their fish and chips. Staff were very welcoming and lovely throughout. I highly recommend and I will be back!

We had dinner. It was or first visit and very impressive. More style over substance. Our plates were so hot you couldn't touch them but the food wasn't very hot. I had a pork chop which was very small for £25. My partner had sea bass with pesto but no pesto on it. One starter. We had 2 alcohol free drinks and bottle of fizzy water. £75. We probably would go back but just for the set menu's which mite be better value. 🤔

From the moment we arrived we felt at ease. This place is beautiful and the managers and staff are a real credit to the team. We will definitely be back and would 100% recommend 👌

Back home to celebrate sister's birthday 7 meals all served together and tasting great. Service was amazing ,service brilliant. Very pleasant staff. Great to have to have somewhere as good as this I Greenock at last keep up the good work.look forward to next time coming home thank you

Had a fabulous lunch at Scott's today - the Sunday Roast was excellent and really brilliant value for money. The service was first class and a particular mention to the front of house female sorry don't know her name but she greeted us when we arrived and looked after me very well as I am currently using crutches so her assistance was much appreciated. Fabulous setting and decor and food and service excellent so highly recommend - thank you

We were celebrating my mums 89th Birthday. As always, the staff at Scott’s did not disappoint. We were so well looked after by Michelle, Josh, Emily, Kirsty & Liam - thank you all. Mains were delicious & desserts were 👌🏻. Thank you for another brilliant experience .

First time in a Scotts restaurant. We visited Greenock restaurant tonight. Walked in looking to get a table as we hadn't made a reservation. A few minutes later, we were seated at a window table with a beautiful view. Food was superb, everything was perfect, we were too busy eating and had forgotten to take some pictures of our food, but honestly it was so good. Friendly waitress looking after us, and all other staff were friendly and welcoming too. Thank you all for a lovely dining experience. 😊

We tried the two course set menu...honestly...we felt a bit let down by the choices available and the quality of the food. The atmosphere is wonderful, we saw Disney dream cruiseship parked outside, it was a sunny day, and the staff were friendly.

The quality & service is excellent, but it would be nice to see some more exciting options on the menu

Had a lovely meal with my partner and her son, his wife and daughter.Great food and service. Child friendly. Gorgeous views across the Cyde. Spoiled by constant blaring pop music. Background music should be quiet and soothing.

The young lady that looked after us was lovely and very pleasant with a great sense of humour. Food was really nice too. The fillet steak and the Diane sauce was perfect. We look forward to coming back soon.

I'd been to Scott's Largs, but this was my first time at Scott's Greenock. Just love the decor, the toilets (best I've been to) and the splendid view over the Clyde. Food and service was excellent. Came here with American and Dutch sailors. (We'd just arrived having sailed non stop from Horta). We all loved it.

Second trip down to Scott’s in Greenock. Wonderful service, food and a lovely sunny day so the views were spectacular. Hope to visit again soon.

Absolutely stunning views of the Clyde and I know it’s weird to say but some of the most classy bathroom decor I’ve ever seen. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast but was disappointed that there was no vegan butter or oat milk available. Good cup of tea but decaf coffee and normal coffee was ‘fine’ but not remarkable and took a bit of time to come. You cannot beat the ambience though what a stunning venue and I believe it will only continue to improve. I loved watching the boats go past. As a haiku: Can’t beat inside vibes Tasty treats but coffee waits, Boats glide views are great.

Excellent meal last night with my wife and the service from William was first class. I can recommend the Seafood Sharer.

A little bit expensive but worth the visit for its vibes, people who are serving there and of course the food! Never had an amazing delicious lobster creamy mac and cheese like the one they serve there. It is mouthwatering, tasty, fulfilling and it can be good for 2 if you are not that hungry. Their fish and chips is also big and fresh. The crispiness of the fish was good and the haddock was well cooked. All the stuff there are happy and smiling, from the lady who welcomed us at the bar to be seated, to the guy who brought our food, another guy was serving us and brought us the bill, to another lady there who was working hard and smiling at everyone in the place. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended place.

Sea bass was a little too salty for me. The Cajun fries were good. The artisan breads were fantastic. The seafood stew looked good too.

I ate here for the first time today and the service, food and surroundings were first class from start to finish. We were met by Fiona (manager, a credit to her organisation)who showed us to our table. The service from all the staff was impeccable. I had a slight hiccup with my food (overall outstanding)however it was dealt with quietly and professionally. I will return for hopefully more of the same.

Came here for dinner and upon arriving the place is absolutely stunning inside and out. Staff were excellent and the food was amazing very nicely cooked and seved. Will definitely be back again soon

A highly priced place that relies on the view across the Clyde. Service was slow and we had to ask where our drinks were on more than one occasion. Food however is good but overpriced for what it was. Great view though.

Service is a bit slow food was ok, lot of mash and potatoes in the fish gratin not a lot of fish or bacon.

A really nice place for a meal with stunning views across the Clyde. Had lunch, Cullen Skink and salt beef sandwich. The lunch menu is very extensive, so I would expect dinner would be equally good. Would happily go back again.

Very nice restaurant but quite pricey.

Disappointed that the restaurant had neither, Ouzo nor the flavoured vodka that my wife requested. She finally settled on her 3rd choice of drink. The bartender had never even heard of Ouzo. Otherwise, the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, the service was good, and the food was great! I live in Australia, and one of my favourite foods when visiting home is Cullen Skink. Scott's version didn't disappoint. Delicious!

What a great place! Make sure you book if you want a table looking out over the Clyde. The views are fantastic! It's a great place for date night. I sometimes go and sit and do work there on one of the tables with no view. Never needed to book. Great music. Fab vibe. Got a whole uni essay done in one day! 🤣 One of my fave places around here.

Food was nice enough but what really let's this esbleshment resteraunt down is the overly enthusiastic staff who take it for granted that was ever change is left is there for the service that they provide myself and my partner went there for a meal the bill came to just over 65 pounds I gave her 80 pounds in my years of going to resteraunts this has never happened to me before absolutely shocked to the core did she really thinks she deserved anything after that my partner convinced me to leave a fiver I was not going to leave anything at all scotts I'm.afraid I will not be back or recommend your restaurant to anyone your management need to talk to your staff regarding etiquette

Due to my husbands bad health we could not attend the restaurant but he dearly wanted to try the food 😋 I called and explained the situation to Jenny wh arranged for us to come pick up our food. Not something that they do so I was more than pleased. Thank you Scott's and Jenny. Xxx

Took friends for a 50th wedding anniversary and requested a nice table. Scott's seated us at the window, food was lovely as were the staff. Scotts did a happy Anniversary message with dessert. Our friends were delighted. Thank you Scott's. Well worth the trip from Falkirk.

Superb, the staff were so kind to my little girl also on Easter Sunday. They really looked after us.

First time visiting, although been at others, which I have enjoyed in the past. It was good they had a special price lunchtime meal, £12 for one course, and £18 for two course. With the option of a dessert for £4,95. Service was very good, which I fully expected,and wasn't disappointed, they are credit to the brand . Good selection of beers, wines and spirits, with all the usual soft drinks.

The food is fantastic, the staff are attentive and friendly and the restaurant itself is stunning. I can't really say any more than that. Well worth a visit.

Went with my wife and Mother in Law (MiL) here for a meal and wasn't disappointed. Myself and my wife had salmon linguine and my MiL had a chicken dish, all lovely followed by sweet dishes of cranachan, ice cream and Bailey's latte. Josh, who served us was brilliant and could not do enough for us and just a credit for the youth of today. I didn't like skinny chips and asked for chunky chips that weren't on the menu. I'll ask the chef says Josh and voilà chunky chips. We were there on a Monday at lunch time where there were about 35 people, busy but not too busy☺️. Will definitely be back

Given dirty plates, which we returned only to be given two more dirty plates. Pity, completely ruined our experience. I was tempted to leave before the food was delivered. If they give their patrons what is the cleanlieness kitchen like where customers cannot see?

The combination of good service good food good surroundings and river views make this a 5 stars for me proving to me at least that good done consistantly can add up to more than the sum of its parts. Cameron was charming the hostess efficient, the crockery interesting and modern. The decor and style modern and appealing. We arrived just before the placed filled up for lunch rush and got lucky with a none reserved table for two, river views despite being right at the back on a comfy banket seat. Pricing is not cheap but once it arrived GREAT value with generous tasty portions. The lunch menu has something for every one and reflects local wants for soup and sandwich but also has exciting starters (average £8) like scallops and prawns . Mains (£12 to £50) pasta seafood burgers menu is on line. Also on point with several adult Driver drink suggestions. Over all not impressed. Stunning views that's if you get a window table. When asked if it was possible to sit at the window we were told no as we hadn't booked. Food was ok bit over priced for the portion size. Main dishes bit over cooked. Staff ok. Would I return probably not.

Had a great night here , my 15year anaverisry, lovely place . Just open so the decor is executed, the views are probably one of the best in the counrty for a restaurant. I had the steak pie , wasn't really a steak pie , but it was marvellous, it was a braised beef steak cooked to perfection. With a bagel style puff on top with creamy mash , the mash could have been seasoned a little more same for the beef , all in all it was a good meal , my partner had the ceaser salad she said it was lovely , she couldn't fault it , this restaurant should do well in greenock it offers something that not many other places can and thats location, its beautiful inside and out, the staff were friendly and efficient, happy to serve , a great atmosphere with good music and good natural air conditioning. Toilets were spotlace , we will definitely be back , my new place to go. Also scotts provided a complimentary glass of prosseco ithought that was a really nice touch .well done all the scotts team😊 I was in tonight 23.02 24, had a great time just a few drinks. Fiona the manager needs a pay rise , a better host you couldn't ask for , friendly funny , and welcoming , really good experience tonight 👍👍

Visited twice within a few days. Newly opened restaurant, great decor and location with views across river estuary towards Helensburgh and Argyll hills. Varied and interesting menu. Service quite attentive if a bit slow sometimes. Good value potential using Buzzworks membership card and offers.

Great experience today. Every staff member was excellent, food was lovely, view was great, nice buzz about the place. My two friends and I chatted and enjoyed the food to our hearts' content. Would highly recommend.

An excellent new venue for a fine dine at reasonable price. We had a most enjoyable Evening. Thanks to the very attentative staff and impeccable work of the chefs. Will be visiting again.

Really enjoyable evening for a birthday celebration. Food was very nice and we were well looked after by River. Good selection of alcohol free drinks which was appreciated although they were on the expensive side. Very smart place and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back

Popped in for Lunch on a Tuesday. We arrived just after 12 and were the first people in. Seated right away at a table overlooking the Clyde. It's a lovely place and the views are amazing. We saw quite a few ships and even a submarine. We ordered bread to start which was really nice. Then two sandwiches and chips. We both really enjoyed the food. The portions were really big. I also had the onion rings which were incredible. Too stuffed to have dessert. My wife really enjoyed her wine. For all that it was £43 which was great value for a stunning view and great food. My wife also said 5 stars for the toilets! Will 100% be back soon

Family meal, 1 member cannot swallow very well. Staff went over and above and couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing

The restaurant was beautifully set with large windows looking on to the River Clyde; a stunning setting. Food was a touch expensive but beautifully presented and delicious. Staff unfortunately were not friendly and more business like. After over one hour wait, we were told they had lost our order, so could we order again. There was no offer of any compensation, not even some bread for the table, which we viewed as very poor. After another 15 minutes we requested bread which they did bring. The various starters were all delicious, as were the main courses. We would definitely return because of the stunning restaurant and quality of food. However, we would hope that the service improves and the staff learn to smile.

Party of 13 and all the food was absolutely amazing. Staff were brilliant. Food service was fantastic, drinks service was a bit slow but the place was packed so it’s forgivable. Highly recommend!!
