Food is always good here and very good value. My kids loved the whole bbq cooking experience. The service and attention was fast and attentive.

The Cold noodle (mul naengmyeon) was the best & most authentic that I have tried in London even in comparison to the ones I have eaten in Korea! Definitely worth a visit~ would highly recommend 🤩

I really enjoyed my visit to this Korean restaurant. We had a set Korean BBQ but the beef meat lacked flavour (the pork was very good though). Also, almost most of the meat was cooked at once so it became very overcooked on the grill. I was under the impression that the waiters are meant to cook the meat for you, but I believe if you ask them you can cook it yourself at your own pace, which is more convenient. We also had the deep fried spicy chicken which had a nice mixture of crunchy and tender textures, and a very rich and flavoursome sauce . The staff was very friendly, the venue was very cozy and the ambiance was relaxed and homely.

The food was good! BBQ in particular. The service is excellent, very fast and kind.

The fried chicken is not too well done, and when you sat in the middle of the restaurant it was too cold when the door opened. The restaurant was too small and the toilet was so small and messy

Had an amazing meal here, this was my first Korean BBQ and I was not disappointed! Quick service and very kind staff, we had a great time.

The restaurant itself and ambiance was really good.foods are good portion and my friend who can't eat spicy foods our lovely waitress suggested to get the nice soup and it wasn't spicy. We enjoyed a dinner and we are going to go back there again. One more thing i noticed their bbq meat is not a lot i saw it from across the table other customers who ate it. A little suggestion, maybe put more meats, side dishes, vegetables for grill meal deal.

I went here because I wanted to eat Korean food with warm soup. I am very grateful to the staff as a whole and for being especially friendly to the Korean woman. If I have the chance, I would like to visit again.

First time trying Korean BBQ and I would definitely recommend it! Recommend reserving at table as it does get super busy, walk-ins may have to wait as each table has 1hour 30mins to dine. Sarang had great service, a busy atmosphere and delicious food! The BBQ set for two was shared by 3 people as well as having our own meals (hotpot, seafood noodles, rice with crispy prawns and dumplings) we were so full and satisfied. Be mindful that the restaurant is small so there is limited space, seating includes small bench booths on either side and tables for 4 in the middle making it tight when the waiters are serving.

Had a fantastic meal at Sarang Restaurant in Golders Green! I ordered the chicken bibimbap, which was delicious and full of flavor, while my parents went for the Korean BBQ set—everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and talkative, making the experience even more enjoyable. We also tried the peach soju, which was really nice, though a bit on the pricey side (£12). Overall, a great spot for authentic Korean food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Affordable and high quality Korean BBQ. The service is phenomenal, every table receives free orange slices and mints with their bill. Have been back many times and food has always been consistent.

This is an authentic Korean restaurant well Worth its rating of 4.5 stars . Its food was amazing and staff were very friendly and helped us order the best dishes while Cooking on our grill and recommending things to try along the way Yum Jung and Mingi were great hosts I will be returning for more very soon

Horrid place. Ordered delivery and it was horrible. Beef bulgogi wasnt bulgogi for sure. It was boiled, slimey and like slob. Dont waste one pence here.

It's been a restaurant I've been going to since 3 years ago. And I remembered that I couldn't come while giving birth, so I visited today with the baby. The reason I am writing this review for the first time is He was one of the two employees who wore glasses. The man who served me even though he wasn't at the bar took such good care of me that I left it behind. It didn't seem like it had been a long time since I came, but it caught the baby's attention so I was able to have another bite. I said I would do the meat grilling, but I was really grateful that you noticed that I was having a hard time, asked politely, and helped me haha. If I had cash, I really wanted to give that person a separate tip! And the previous manager is no longer there..? I thought it was great that he showed up just when I needed it. In fact, the atmosphere wasn't as good as before, where you can chat and eat with customers.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, but it had an overwhelmingly strong vinegar smell. While I understand that both Korean and Chinese cuisines often incorporate vinegar, this was excessive and off-putting.

I want to be the first person to tell the people working there "I love you".

Happy to find this authentic Korean restaurant. The sweet chilly chicken and pork bibimbap are delicious and the portion is large. Will try BBQ next time as it also looks good from the table aside.

The environment and experience were a 10/10. Stuff were very welcoming and nice. However, the BBQ was disappointing. All the meats tasted almost the same because of the same seasoning. We also ordered takoyaki, which was fine but nothing memorable. It’s worth coming for theexp, but I’d recommend trying other dishes on the menu.

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. The food was far too salty and lacked any authentic Korean flavors. The BBQ was poorly managed—everything was thrown onto the grill at once, causing the meat to boil rather than grill properly. To make matters worse, they didn’t even provide basic herbs, and we had to bring our own basil leaves. For the price and reputation, this was completely unacceptable. I won’t be coming back. The staff were friendly though so I give them credit there

Went 2 times with my family, both times the food was more than amazing, and the staff too, very polite, proffesional and most importantly friendly and warm. Will definately be coming frequently whenever there is an ocassion. Tonight was the second, the third might be on 10th of january for my birthday 😅. Thank you for the amazing experience. PS: the plum tea, both hot and cold is godly amazing, we really did not expect it to be that good. The pineapplr juice too, but the plum tea is really good.

We came here yesterday and throughly enjoyed it. The bbq was delicious, the noodles were flavourful and the bimimbap and ttekbokki was spicy but oh so good. Will definitely be back again with the family. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take pics as we devoured it before we could.

One of our favourite restaurants! I'll probably never get tired of eating here. I recommend calling to reserve a table if you are planning to visit for dinner, especially on weekends. We don't eat meat. Our favourites are: Tangsoo Tofu Vegetable Pancake Tofu Bibimpab Tofu Dop Bab

based on my opinion,it is indeed a authentic korean restaurant. the bulgogi soup and spicy squid were 💯price for their menu as well is not extra expensive compared to other korean restaurants. definetely would recommend!

I just visited the place for a quick lunch takeaway but was very impressed with my experience. First, the menu offers many veggie options, second I was served by a lovely lady who was really helpful and gave great food recommendations - probably one of the best service experience for a very long time. Finally, the food was delicious, so I highly recommend this restaurant.

The portion size to pork belly is diabolical, portion sizes decreased overall. The difference between the first time till now is huge.

I’ve been coming for years to this place and I never seen anything like I saw, a dog literally eating and licking the table absolutely unhygienic it made me feel very disgusted. Super unhygienic won’t be coming back.

This spot used to be a different Korean restaurant long time ago, and back then, the owner of the well-known Wasabi sushi chain (yes, that Wasabi! 🍣) was testing out the concept before launching their Kimchi restaurant chain. I always ordered the spicy seafood & tofu soup back then 🍲, so I was excited to see what Sarang had to offer! 💕 As a solo diner, I wasn’t sure if I could order the BBQ set on my own 🤔, but I decided to give it a try – and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I stepped in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home 💛. I ordered the BBQ set (£29 per person), which comes with 4 types of meat, salad, and side dishes – fantastic value! 🥗🍖 The best part? The staff took care of the BBQ, cooking everything perfectly, so all I had to do was sit back, eat, and enjoy 😋. I found the pork and chicken to be especially tender and juicy, even more so than the beef, so I’ll probably order a different set next time. Overall, it was a fantastic dinner, and I’ll definitely be back soon! 🙌 Highly recommend for solo diners to the large group who are craving great food and friendly service. 💫

Authentic Korean food, friendly and nice staff, kimchi and fried chicken are so lovely!

Ordered fried squid rice, Tofu stew and beef, the beef was chewy and flavourless, the squid needed more sesame but the tofu stew was good better option out of the two korean restaurants in the area. Fast delivery of food to the table.

We took beef ribeye, beef galbi, soy chicken and some kimchi for take-away. Everything tastes great and we even got some vegetable salad and spring onion on the house. My personal favourite was beef galbi which tastes absolutely amazing with their korean BBQ sauce Great place, can't wait to visit again:)

I ordered a soondubu-jjige and I can assure you that it was quite a rich and flavorful soup. Perfect amount of spice and they give it to you boiling! 😸 I personally LOVE when it's really hot. If you want something very flavorful and seasoned I would FULLY recommend it. The cost was 10.20 pounds which is quite affordable and it filled me up. My friend ordered a chicken bibimbap which was alright, the chicken was good, however the rest was a little underwhelming. Adding kimchi to it did make it taste better though! Overall great experience and very friendly staff. Good proportions!

Nice Korean BBQ place. Vibe and service are great. Prices are normal. Bulgogi was great but can’t say the same thing for galbi - hence the 4 star. Beef and chicken are halal - but there’s pork and alcohol. I hope there’s no contamination.

I'm from Dallas Texas USA and I was looking for something good to eat in this area and going to Sarang was a great choice. I loved the atmosphere,the welcome, excellent customer service. When I got to my hotel I opened my food and was surprised as there was a side salad added to my order for free and a note . That was really nice! Thank you so much for your excellent service. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back to dine here.

If you love Korean food. You can have the Korean BBQ, or just pick from the menu. Huge choice from rice to noodles, kimchi and more. I had one of the main soups, the seafood soondubu. This was a spicy hot pot with soft tofu, seafood and egg (served with steamed rice). It was beyond delicious. Spicy and piping hot and so tasty. Full of flavour. Only order this if you can take spice. The small portion of steamed rice was perfect with it. They give a small complimentary starter salad. The dressing on it was something else. A sweet, tangy flavour. Like miso. So good. Clean. Busy restaurant. Service is efficient. I had an early dinner. Staff were pleasant. My main issue was how you were hurried to finish your meal. I had a time limit of 1 hour (guessing as I was one person) but bigger groups had about one and a half hours. It did feel rushed and I was constantly looking at my watch. Yes it was enough time as food came out quickly but I think they need to let guests enjoy their meal. Literally as soon as I had finished, my plates were cleared and I was 'encouraged' to go. I would suggest booking a table. Very reasonably priced. Vegetarian options are limited.

Disappointing food ,overpriced and with very poor customer service . Mushroom Bab was with very little veggies and mushrooms on the bed of rice.1 fried egg was extra £2.00 and if you ask for a little chilli oil or chilli powder it would be £1.00 more. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere!

I went there on a friend's recommendation and it was delicious. The barbecue and sunjji were delicious, but the seasoned chicken and tteokbokki was fantastic,,🤩 Compared to other Korean restaurants, the atmosphere was classy and the tables were spacious, which was nice. I was happy because they served Korean kimchi and the water was purified. It's a shame that I can't go often because it's far away.

The food was overall quite tasty. We liked the kimchi soup and the pork, kimchi and tofu salad, although they were a tad salty. The fried chicken reminded us of Chinese fast food, like that you would find from Panda Express. Regardless, it was still good. The BBQ was okay, as the pork belly had some meaty flavour, while the beef didn’t taste of much. BBQ will also make your wallet sting a little. I didn’t find it to be the best value for money. Service was very polite and efficient. Food came out quickly.
