Overrated and understaff . Came here to celebrate a birthday . I had ordered pasta with prawns and received 1 prawn cropped up and got told I should have asked for king prawns . Firstly if this is what they call prawns - I would say it’s a PRAWN . I got an apology but still have to pay the fully price of pasta with prawns when I received one chopped up overall .

Great tasty food just like the one in Golders and big portions. Had it delivered but the chicken Milanese was still nice and hot when it arrived.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Never been disappointed, I have tried the Pizzas and Pastas and they are all 10/10, nothing to complain about. I usually hate all carbonara but this was phenomenal. Everything you taste is unique and does not taste like anything you have had before. From the sauce, to the meat, to the pasta or pizza the seasoning and taste is mouth watering with so much flavour! Definitely recommend! Amazing for price!

Excellent food with plenty of choices for vegetarians, good size portions and above all efficient service.

A friend and I visited for a mid-week snack, having not been for years, (no idea why we stopped going) and we were delighted at the choice. Although they were fairly busy, service was excellent and staff were both attentive and friendly. The menu was comprehensive, with plenty of choice and food was served piping hot, (as it should be) and was both fresh and very tasty, with us having enjoyed a pasta and chicken dish, both Italian classics. Decor was simple and modern, but the restaurant was well lit and spotlessly clean, (always a good sign), while overall pricing was per today's levels, reasonable, but still considered good value for what we enjoyed. If there was one 'negative', (hence, the 4* for 'atmosphere'), this would relate to the acoustics, as with tiled floors and stark walls, it was a little noisy and sometimes difficult to hold a conversation, but this said, I'd far rather visit a busy restaurant full of life, than an empty one with no soul. I can see us going again soon and for anyone yet to visit, I highly recommend that you sample Amaretto, there are very few local Italian restaurants remaining and we're so pleased that we did.

The food was, as usual, absolutely delicious.

For an expensive Italian restaurant, the experience was disappointing. Bella Italia, Prezzo, and Pizza Express are far superior to Amaretto. The ingredients were of poor quality, and the food was well below average. When we informed the waitress about our dissatisfaction, her response was, "That's how we do it here." Needless to say, we won't be coming back!

Food is amazing at Amaretto and the staff always friendly , my favourite dish is their seafood risotto

Please I recommend to not go to this place pleasee. Stay away from here if you are not Italian. Discrimination to the next level. British values is a joke to these guys, no manner to serve customers. Stupid and drunk chef and his waiter. Act like drunk talk like drunk and psychopath which have no idea what going on.

This is our favourite Italian restaurant over all others. The welcome is warm, service outstanding and the food is the best. Prepared with authentic ingredients and with love, generous portions are served piping hot

Highly recommended! Haven't had a pizza like this in a long time. The ingredients really come together—crispy dough, perfectly melted cheese, and the fresh rocket and cured beef on the pizza are a winning combination. I also loved the homemade chili oil. The team is really friendly and engaging, and they took great care of us. Will definitely return again for sure.

I come here regularly with my children, I’m a single parent and they always make a fuss of the children and make us feel so welcome. Lovely food and great ambience. A really homely place with authentic food the staff really do make the place what it is. I look forward to returning soon 🙂

Haven't been in a few years but service and food were still very good! The waiter was friendly and polite, and so was the chef who did pop out and asked how everything was! The food was very good, portion size are generous! Two of our party had to take some home! Definitely would come back again!

Avoid ordering from here. Very rude Manager sent burnt food as replacement to be vindictive due to complaining about being sent a meat in sauce item which wasn’t mentioned on menu ingredients. He asked to text him personally card details to refund! Who hired this so-called unprofessional manager. Other unhelpful staff just pass you to other staff.

8 of us ate here today, and they didn’t honour the 20% discount that we booked through the fork, shame on you, also reported on the fork.

Booked a table after seeing the 20% offer on the Fork App. On arrival to the restaurant, waiting staff didn’t appear to have our booking. I explained the booking and the discount. I ordered Pizza Amaretto and my wife chose the Chicken Milanese. Both were just about average, nothing special. I’ve enjoyed far superior/authentic pizzas in the local area. During the meal we spotted a cockroach on the wall next to the table! This was pointed out to the waiting staff and quickly disposed of. Unfortunately, this was a sign of worse to come. When we asked for the bill, I reminded the staff of the Fork discount. This resulted in the manager/chef eventually showing his face from the kitchen. He was in a rage! Shouting and accusing me of lying. He insisted the discount was only at lunchtime. I showed him the email confirming the discount with the booking time. He told me to stop trying to clever and insisted we pay full price, then stormed off. It turns out other customers had also booked with the Fork, and were having the same problem. Eventually the waiter gave us the bill at the correct price. Unfortunately the damage had already been done. Very average food, cockroach on the wall and the rudest manager/chef I’ve ever encountered. This made for an extremely unpleasant evening. We won’t be returning.

Very simple restaurant and decoration when you go inside, but the food is amazing and portions are huge. Their torta de la nona is one of the best I had in an Italian

Really great place, I went there with a large party and we were all treated a magnificent feast and laughs by the owner and his son. The food was authentic Italian Roma style, the service was brilliant. I can't say and shout goodness about this place. It really deserves success. I would highly recommend this place. Well done to the owner and family for looking after all of us.

I found a hair on my dish. Beside that, this is not Italian food.

Just ordered delivery via deliveroo and was really disappointed. My order was basic dish Spaghetti con polpette and Lasagna Verde and I cannot believe this is from an Italian restaurant, I have had better meatball spaghetti and lasagna from any cafe. The spaghetti was soggy and the sauce was tasteless, I think they just poured a can of chopped tomatoes and called it meat sauce. The meat ball is like paste and with lots of chewy bit and cannot stay in one piece. Half of it end up in my bokashi bin for compost. The lasagna was burnt and the meat sauce has no flavour at all, again any local cafe serve a better lasagna. Deliveroo rating is a joke, over 4.5 stars but restaurants can disable review function. I will stick with Uber Eat or Justeat.

Was excited to order from a Italian place. But it was worse than pizza hut... So bland, hardly anything on top of the pizza. We order vedgy pizza, as we don't eat meat, sadly I'm suspicious they touch meat, as I was sick with tummy cramp, (like when I was given meat before and told it wasn't) no way we are ordering from them again ... Feel rotten and sick :(

I called restaurant on the number provided outside the restaurant. Apparently it is wrong and I had to google it. A man who picked up phone rushed me through my order without telling how much bill or how long it would take. Food was poor and absolutely not italian carbonara. Not recommended.
