Sanzio in Brent

Visited yesterday after looking up options for Italian restaurants in the surrounding area before visiting Wembley. This place stood out so reserved a table and it more then exceeded expectations. Table was set out and well presented ready for us on arrival with complimentary Olives to share, service was prompt but not rushed and it was relaxed atmosphere inside. The food was up there as a contender for some of the best I’ve had in an Italian Restaurant and offered excellent value for money. Absolutely faultless from start to finish so will definitely be visiting again. Molte Grazie 🙂

We came to this restaurant yesterday (Thursday) lunch time and I just want to thank you for making our celebratory lunch a success. The Spaghetti Bolognese was one of best I've had and the waitress was so lovely, attentive and welcoming. I parked on one of the side roads, just of the high street, £4.10 for 2 hours on Ring go app.

This is a really lovely, local buzzy Italian restaurant. Busy on a Friday night, but in a really good way. My friend and I both had pasta dishes, which really tasted authentic Italian; tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and speck. Delicious! But they don't just do pizza and pasta; lots of interesting specials for the day, which I will have to try next time; all looked amazing as I looked on with envy what others were having on adjacent tables. "Oooh that looks nice!" The staff were delightful; friendly and efficient...and sweet and funny. Comfortable seating (not awful wooden or wicker chairs like most new restaurants in London these days). And proper napkins (not horrible paper ones); this is really unusual, but shows the owner has thought of the customer. And finally you can have half a Peroni draught if you don't want a whole bottle, which I don't; another small but important sign of attention to detail of what different customers may like. Look forward to coming back here very soon with my family.

Great place! Amazing for families too, and great service. The specials change regularly and the food is always of top standard. The pizza is really good, and authentic! Desserts are incredible too, I would really recommend the affogato. The staff are also super friendly and there is a great homely feel to the place.

This is a serious lasagna: tasty, rich bechamel, the only minus I have is the top wasn't crunchy. Stuff was really nice and place was clean and warm.

Excellent restaurant. The food dishes we had ranged from good to absolutely superb. Good selection of wines and good quality pleasant service.

Homemade gnocchi, with a truffle sauce. It was amazing! On a quiet road, close to Willesden Green Station. It was a lovely experience.

This resturant is absolutely beautiful, I booked a table for 11 of us including 2 small children. This place did bot disappnt, food was amazing, the staff were wonderful so friendly and welcoming. I honestly recommend this place. The food is just out of this world and so much to choose from. Also very clean and comfortable

Two of us walked in without reservations and the staff were kind enough to give us a seat anyway. Staff were super friendly and bubbly, food was INCREDIBLE and ambiance was delightful. We ordered the lasagna and pasta bolognese - we both almost licked our plates clean. We were going to order dessert but then every table around us ordered the apple crumble and we caved. Didn’t get a photo of the before for the apple crumble but trust that it was divine. Definitely come here!!

Updated! Sanzio is our best local restaurant with great food and staff. Some dishes a bit pricey but overall it’s always a pleasure to eat here.

Came here for pre Christmas dinner get together, selecting the Christmas menu. Unfortunately was really disappointed, we had a plate to share between 4 people to which was mainly bread. There was only 2 slices of salami, 3 slices of prosciutto which seemed to be black forest ham, 3 slices of mortdadella, and cheese that had been cut up to look more than there was. 8 arancini balls. The main course came to the disappointment of my friends asking where the rest of it was, quite embarrassing. A piece of chicken with a bit of cabbage underneath, no potatoes or rice. Considering this is a Christmas menu. The dessert was of a good size, but the ice-cream clearly from a tub. Restaurant is nice however the food portions for what was paid unfortunately left a sour taste in all our mouths. I'm not sure if we will return here.

Had Sunday lunch here, Committee of duck with red cabbage, Italian potatoes and hazelnuts. It was absolutely delicious! Lovely welcoming, helpful service. Most enjoyable experience.

Good food good atmosphere and good quick service

We had a lovely family meal here. The food is always delicious - there may be places that serve a more refined clientele but here were offered a good range of Italian of Italian restaurant classics.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara which was just some basic thin packet spaghetti with what looked like some very small pieces of dried up pancetta. There was little to no sauce and it was not one bit a creamy sauce. For the price of over £11 the food on this place must have cost less than a £1. But more the the point, it was nothing like described. The home-made apple crumble and icecream was very good, although the icecream was quite low quality, but the crumble was delicious. The service was adequate, the atmosphere very nice, and the overall bill for three people was not extortionate.

What a very pleasant and lovely evening at sanzio. The atmosphere was very nice and busy with not too loud crowds. I came with my family of 10 and we all throughly enjoyed the evening and food. The food was amazing and every dish tasted really nice and full of flavours and great presentation. The drinks were very nice and so was the desserts. I would highly recommend others to visit because it was well worth it. The value and portions for the price was well worth it. Great and excellent customer service and experience from the staff who were always at hand and gave us all a pleasant evening. So thank you to the team of alessandra, Anne, Kevin, flora, and Emma who were all very friendly and professional. I will definitely be visiting again and advise others to visit for an authentic Italian meal.👌👏

We went to Sanzio for a celebratory birthday dinner. We had a wonderful time. The food is really delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great and we weren’t rushed at all. This was our second visit and we would definitely return.

This was an adorable place that local friends took us too. The staff was amazing and accommodating to our kiddos. It was cozy and popular and the food was tasty.

My husband and I organised our Wedding lunch at Sanzio. From beginning to end, everything was perfect. The service, food, venue, celebration. Communication is efficient, and we couldn't recommend Sanzio enough. The gem of Willesden Green. Thank you Maria and team, you are the best!

The dish I ordered, chicken and mushroom pasta with creamy sauce, was unfortunately quite disappointing. The pasta seemed to be drowning in a thin, soupy mixture that bore little resemblance to a creamy sauce. While I don't mind store-bought pasta, it was disheartening to find it overly soggy - al dente felt like a distant memory. Additionally, the smoky flavor of the chicken didn't work well with the overall taste profile of the dish. Really expensive given the quality of food

Really good food. Superb service. Buzzy atmosphere. Went with work colleagues and we had a room out thebback complete with outdoor space so ideal for groups of 25-ish (which was what we had.)

Tra i locali consigliato dalla nostra padrona di casa. Ottimi antipasti, zucchine fritte a julienne e calamari fritti pazzeschi. L’insalata di polpo con le verdure squisita, come la torta al cioccolato con il gelato alla vaniglia. Ottimo il servizio.

Its a lovely little restaurant, and the food is good, but the service is a bit abrupt at times. Have been here a number of times and they seem a bit almost perturbed re questions about dishes and more than once I have been rushed through my meal as were closing soon. Maybe they should mention when sitting people that are closely sharply at whatever time, and people can then decide if want to maybe go somewhere else for a leisurely meal rather than being rushed. Other than this the food is excellent and it is a cosy little restaurant which otherwise has a lovely atmosphere.

I don't get to Sanzio' s as often as I'd like to. Love it. Good food, lovely relaxed atmosphere and good value. Handy for buses and tube. Never been disappointed.

We have had three EXCELLENT meals here in the past three months. Lovely staff, perfect service, delicious wines… and one of the best pizzas that I have had outside of Italy.

This place looks more like a rustic cafe than restaurant but other than that all is great :) you are going there for food and this is very tasty. We had family mini celebration and ordered a lot of dishes from menu - all were great and as expected. Great sharing feast overall at a decent price. Staff were happy to help and credit to business.

Visiting family in Willesden who booked Sanzio for a late Sunday lunch. It proved to be a vey good choice indeed; delightful, unpretentious and jolly family atmosphere in the Italian way. Tasteful, artisanal food comprising freshly cooked ingredients, with good range of dishes across the card - starters, mains and deserts together with decent reasonably priced house wine. Attentive and cheerful service too, so, overall a most pleasant afternoon.

The food was good if you were very hungry and the person who served us seemed like she didn't know exactly what she was doing...she brought me something other than what I ordered or she forgot to bring the ice cream for dessert.

Good, calm dining atmosphere. Tasty and generous food! Great service and reasonable price! Lovely waitress looked after us who couldn’t do more to accommodate us! Definitely will be back!

Such a great restaurant. Special menu is fantastic (rib eye is really flavourful and smoky, duck ragu pappardelle is delicious). Fresh baked bread has great flavour and texture. Service is always quick and friendly. We’ve been at least 5 times and it’s been consistent every time!

Fantastic evening at Sanzio. Food was amazing ( calamari, mussels, pasta, apple crumble) . Every dish was delicious. Service was great, really nice restaurant, reasonably priced. Super friendly staff without being overbearing. Already planning to bring the kids tomorrow for lunch! This is an absolute gem- can’t believe it’s taken us so long to discover it.

Fantastic food and fabulous service

First experience here this week, and now my go to for pizza when visiting lovely Willesden Green. My supper here further confirmed my pact with myself not to have pizza at home! Perfect margarita pizza, welcoming team and a perfect spot to get comfy and indulge!

Great local Italian restaurant. Delicious food( amazing ice cream!!), service and atmosphere. Sanzio always delivers. Little gem in Willesden.

I gave it 4 stars because I didn’t like my risotto very much. It was very fishy smelling. The rest of the food was great. It’s a pretty restaurant and the staff were helpful. We wore warm clothes as so many restaurants are cutting back on the heating at the moment. Needn’t have worried as it was lovely and warm. We have lived in the area for 12 years and didn’t even realise it was there. Looking forward to visiting in the summer as they have what looks like a lovely terrace.

Let me start with the positive which was the food except for the calamari as the batter fell off. Bruschetta was lovely and fresh as was the buffalo pizza and calzone. Drinks went down well. Now onto the poor part which was the service, on entering we waited 10 minutes at the door. There was multiple opportunities for the waitress who I believe was the head waitress due to her rude and bossy manner to the rest of her team. Instead of acknowledging us and saying she’ll be over in a moment she was more focused on the single table in the front of the restaurant on getting an order for a kids dessert. When she did acknowledge us again she shouted across the room and asked if we had a reservation once she had located us on the computer instead of collecting us from the door she wriggled her finger to come to her at the bar area where the computer was and then pointed out our table. We sat down and then had to wait a further 5 minutes to receive the menus. Once we were ready to order, you guessed it we needed to get the attention of the waiting staff as was the case if we needed more drinks. We also noticed every table apart from ours had complimentary olives. There was apparently a manager on duty but again very grumpy and made no attention to engage customers. This is your business to run but I’ll be honest you are lucky your food is good as the rest is shockingly bad. To put 12.5% service on the bill and deliver those standards is a joke. All the best and I hope you action your mistakes as that isn’t how hospitality should feel like.

Delicious plates at reasonable prices. Homemade food in a lovely ambience. About the tasting plates: good size of portions, good quality of ingredients, distinctive flavours.

An amazing little Italian just opposite the station. The staff were so helpful and friendly, great service speed. The food was phenomenal! If Italians go you know it's good. They have a cute little outdoor area and a well decorated dining space. Definitely recommend.

Great menu, nice staff, and a really lovely setting. If you like spicy food be sure to add the bullet chilis to your pizza!

Hands down the best restaurant in Willesden Green and a firm family favourite for over 8 years now.. I couldn't recommend Sanzio more. Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere and the friendliest staff of any restaurant I know in London. Amazing place for families and couples alike.

Good food and atmosphere, a bit overpriced.

I used to enjoy coming to Sanzio and would visit on a weekly basis - the food was good and prices reasonable. However, over time the prices have started creeping up quickly and it's now become a rather expensive proposition. A Margherita pizza is just under £10 (reasonable). However, if you pick the Quattro Formaggi pizza which has a bit of extra cheese on it, Sanzio charge just under £18! £18 really does feel like an extortionate amount to be paying for a small pizza and I don't see £8 extra in ingredients to what is supplied on a Margherita. Breaded chicken and chips is £17 which also seems on the high side. Desserts for £7 which feels a little overpriced. £3.70 for a 200ml bottle of coke was painful - they don't even use the standard 330ml serving! The food is still pretty good but it's not good value for money and can't see myself returning any time soon as there are certainly better options at this price point.

Sanzio came up trumps for our daughter's 15th birthday dinner with her 7 mates. The restaurant gave them a great table and treated them with the warmth and fantastic hospitality that we have come to know and love from them. Made them feel very special and properly grown-up. All her friends loved the food (not always easy with teenagers...). And it was excellent value too. This is why Sanzio remains our favourite local restaurant by a mile.

This was much more expensive than we had thought. Pizzas were as normal as you can get. Soft drinks, well expensive 330ml coke £3.70 tables were to small for our group.

I came here for a birthday meal and I returned after for a meal with a friend and I could not recommend it enough. The staff are friendly and lovely, the atmosphere is calm and beautiful and the food!! Just wow. I will be returning for a little taste of Italy again. My sister loved it too. Sanzio hosted a 60th birthday party for 30 guests on Saturday. It was fantastic. The food, the space and the service were faultless. Highly recommend !

It was a compact restaurant. We had a nice table. Service was very nice and friendly. Food was very good.
