The food was outstanding, full of rich flavour and beautifully presented. What truly set this place apart, however, was the level of service. Although there was a small mix-up with our order (the new front-of-house staff missed telling us about a couple of unavailable items), and our order came delayed as they were serving 2 parties in the back, the owner stepped in personally and went above and beyond to make things right. His genuine care and professionalism turned a minor hiccup into a memorable gesture, offering complimentary drinks and dessert to take away. It’s rare to see that level of thoughtfulness these days. A fantastic meal, elevated by truly next-level hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!

Sanzio is our regular and beloved 'go to' for a great night out - whether for an intimate meal or special occasion with a group of friends. The food, service and ambiance are topnotch!

I have eaten at Sanzio many times and also had a birthday party there. Every time the food is delicious and the staff are delightful. For the birthday party, Maria (the boss) worked with me to create a fantastic buffet that we devoured in the restaurant's charming (and private) back room and terrace. The vibes and decor are lovely both there and in the main restaurant itself. Special mention to the lasagne which is possibly the best in London. I enjoy my meat but the vegan-friendly pasta verdura mista was incredibly tasty as well. I could go on... everything there tastes great! AND they do a click & collect! A must-visit, especially if you live in the area.

We always have a great experience at Sanzios. Love that we are personally known as regular customers and always made to feel welcome. Good food, good wine (try out their Wine Club) and lovely atmosphere. Not the cheapest but definitely a favourite. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Dining experience at Sanzio - Willesden. For a family reunion group of 18, all requests were catered for - everyone enjoyed the atmosphere & the back room location was excellent for the family get together. The staff were superb & attentive. ❤️

The restaurant was very famous but we went there for a dinner night but the staff was so rude and we felt very uncomfortable. They shouts at us when we asked for the table and even they never care about the customer. Allover the staff spoil our day. The customer service is very bad.

Great food and friendly service, nice atmosphere! The pizzas are really good (and so are the olives), great vegan options for pasta and pizza.

This was our first time at Sanzio and we walked out saying we will definitely return. Lots of restaurants provide good food but what was unusual about Sanzio were the staff, who were all friendly, upbeat, on hand, able to answer questions, charming and a credit to the restaurant. Other restaurants should go and take lessons from Sanzio.

There were 10 adults + 4 children for a family meal. All the staff were most helpful and polite and helped make it a wonderful afternoon plus nice food. Would not hesitate to return again.

I regularly invite colleagues and guests for lunch and dinner at Sanzio and I would say this is the best Italian restaurant in the area! Bravi tutti! Si mangia sempre benissimo!

During our dinner I always felt a tension between the waitresses, also the girl which served to us, I think the name is Anna, had a strong cigarette smell, that makes me thing about a not professional customer service. I asked for a favor, and the same person smiled at me and I felt like the moment she turned around she looked at another waiter and grimaced. Not professional. Leaving this aside, the food very nice, a good quality, thanks to the chefs!

I've been going to sanzio for years but I feel I didn't get the service as normal I asked for water wich I never received also got the wrong starter but tried to question it as was told that's what was ordered no because I feel two girls where there but clearly making mistakes and covered for each other but realy didn't care about us I do understand you were busy but realy not happy and my starter was slightly burnt but I never complained about it just feel I asked for a bottle of water to not get and was upset knowing the service was not good when for years amazing

Everything was lovely. We had the best time.

Service needs to be more attentive. No cautery with my main needed ti ask for 1, hard to get attention of a waitress. Would help if the waitress actually smile and say goodbye when customers are leaving. On our last visit Ladies behind the bar where more busy chatting instead of paying attention us leaving, didn't even say goodbye or thank you.

Don’t call your self an Italian restaurant if you can’t make a decent Negroni . We were served a very watered down and we had to pay west end prices for it , £ 12 plus service charges with not even some olives with it . Not recommended.

Sanzio has everything you want! Wonderful service, delicious food and reasonably priced. I have been going there since it started - many times with friends and family - and the service is ALWAYS brilliant and the food ALWAYS beautifully cooked. The ambiance is very relaxing and welcoming. Highly recommended.

My friends and I had a lovely time. The food was great, the atmosphere friendly and the service top-notch. On top of that we found the meal was sufficient and reasonably priced. The location is fab. Easy to get there by car and conveniently a 2 minute walk from Willesden Green station - wonderful! We will definitely be going back!

Excellent food . Full of flavour . Well presented Service. Waited 15mins to take our order . Waiter slow ( think he was new ) did not know menu . No one came and asked “ how is everything “ waited 10 mins for water . Had to ask for water to be topped up all the time . Very busy . Loud . Difficult to b heard Great night

A group of us went out for dinner, and we all really enjoyed our meals. I recognized the restaurant from a visit five years ago, though I didn’t enjoy it as much back then due to external factors. This time, I ordered starters and a main from the special menu, which I probably finished too quickly—just like everyone else at the table! The service was excellent, and I couldn’t find any faults. I’ll definitely be coming back.

While staying at a relative's flat in Willesden Green we didn't want to travel to far for dinner on our first night and stumbled on this delightful restaurant as we left the Tube Station earlier in the day. What a great night we had; the meals were delicious and different from what we've seen on restaurants where we live (and generously proportioned). Although the restaurant was very busy (inc takeaways) it all added to a buzzy atmosphere.

Fantastic friendly and efficient staff (yes even when busy and there is a big party going in in the back room) serving food that is Always delicious and freshly made and fabulous value. The wine club list and specials cha he regularly but you can always find your favourites too. My (quite picky) 18 year old tells me it’s the best pizza, too! Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic experience for Valentine's day! They had a special valentine's set menu which was a little pricey but certainly worth the money for the portion sizes and quality of the food. They were exceptionally busy, due to the occasion, but they were extremely organised and it was clear how quickly they were trying to serve everyone, so I didn't mind a bit of a wait! Honestly made valentine's very special! I've also eaten here several times before and never reviewed but the service and food is always fantastic! Love that this is my local!

My local Italian, Sanzio, is somewhere I will often take guests when they come to stay, and each time, when we leave, they comment that it's some of the best Italian food they've ever had - which really says it all!

I have been a customer for a few years and I simply asked for the fries to be exchanged for any other side dish, rice or a salad, and they told me no. By bringing the steak with some horrible supermarket fries. Finally, after much discussion involving other employees, they brought me 3 lettuce leaves. terrible experience this time.

Another fantastic night at Sanzio's. We celebrated our neighbours 82nd birthday there last Saturday and the food and atmosphere were brilliant. A specially mention for Annie who is so warm and professional, as are all the lovely staff and owner. If I could give more them 5 stars I would!. We book the back room and garden area for all our birthday parties which accommodates 20. I would Definitely recommend this restaurant to all, as its gorgeous food and staff are also across the road from Willesden Green Station or the mini cab office so we can have a drink when we celebrate.

Excellent Italian food! I had the cod loin in cream and wine with capers and potatoes with a prawn starter to die for. Finished with dense and decadent chocolate cake. And the staff are friendly and efficient. Everything came when it was supposed to. a perfect evening.

Fui a cenar con un amigo y, como siempre, quedé totalmente impresionado con la comida - entrante de gambas y lomo de bacalao en crema con patatas y alcaparras - para morirse! Went for an early dinner on my own. Was quite daunting as it was my first time. But the staff were lovely. Thought had been put into where I was sitting, the food was delicious. I throughly enjoyed myself and will be going back regularly. Can't recommend it enough!

Have responded on several occasions to this all I can say is that Sanzio is wonderful.

First time last Saturday night. Loved everything about it! Especially that, although restaurant was full, it was not uber-noisy and we could hear each other's conversation.

9 of us celebrated a birthday on saturday 23rd Nov. The staff were amazing and catered really well for intolerance and allergies amongst our group and made helpful suggestions. The food was amazing and the area was decorated with beautiful lights and had a warm atmosphere. We weren't hurried out even though we were the last to leave and it had been a busy evening for this popular restaurant. I cant recommend Sanzio enough. Thank you

I really enjoyed the place every time I popped in, food was always fresh and delicious. However, last time when I came here with my sister for some quick drinks, we weren’t allowed to stay unless food was ordered. They had plenty of free tables and we weren’t allowed to sit. Manager literally said we have to go if we don’t order food, no other explanation was provided :) So customer service is only as good as you’re spending money, you’re welcomed only if willing to have bigger bill. Just upsetting and rude, I live in neighbourhood and had really good impression of the place, but won’t be back anymore

Really friendly local italian with delicious food. Was absolutely buzzing early on a friday evening when we came, the service was quick and everything we ate was really tasty and flavourful. The wine list is extensive and even the house red was exceptional. Really recommended (we are vegetarians)

The best restaurant in Willesden Green, in my opinion. The food is great, and the servers are lovely and very attentive. It can get quite loud in there due to the acoustics of the building so just something to note if you go at a busy time. Great value for money too with delicious food at an affordable price.

Sanzio is one of my favourite restaurants. It is the perfect local Italian Restaurant, charming staff, delicious, authentic Italian food. With reasonable prices things can't get much better!!

Amazing food and service! The food tastes so good! My partner and I are vegetarian/Vegan and they have many options. Very good with allergies as well just let them know before hand. We have gone here three times. The hospitality is beyond five stars. We did our wedding reception here and everything was exceptional and professional. The food, the staff and the venue is top tier! I've been living in north west and didn't know they had this restaurant opposite Willesden green station. Please go there and visit you won't regret it! We went again on the 19th of October 2024 for my sister's birthday dinner. The food was amazing as usual. The place is very good at allergies. Please let them know before you order. Any peanut allergy avoid any food that contain mustard. The food is always amazing and busy.
