A delicious and very welcome late lunch, all home made (celery soup and herby scone). I was so grateful to find the cafe, cheerful and prompt service.

On our way home from our holiday we were beset by traffic problems so we needed a refreshment stop. We stumbled upon Santiago and had a lovely stop. My little boy demolished his cookie and I enjoyed my lemon drizzle cake too. There is a toilet in the undercroft. My little boy was delighted to find a toilet seat and step from IKEA that matched his own. These were thoughtful additions.

Lovely little cafe. Good coffee, excellent snacks and light meals. I particularly recommend the cheese scones served with local Baron Bigod soft cheese and chutney. They also have interesting art for sale and nice locally produced greetings cards. Dog friendly, and also has outside tables under cover.

Efficient, friendly service with a great choice of eats with outside seating providing a view of this pretty village. The owner told me they use locally sourced roasted coffee beans. This was the best cup of coffee I’ve tasted for a very long time. Brilliant.

Excellent Cafe with lovely cakes. As a group of 14 cyclists, doing the Wolf Way cycle route, we arrived mid afternoon and were well looked after. Great stop, thanks

We have found Santiago's to be well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and efficient, and there is a relaxed, yet buzzy, vibe. The place just oozes quality. We enjoyed first class, home made and delicious curried parsnip soup with sourdough bread, and a wonderful dahl with locally made naan bread, followed by fruit cake and carrot cake, again home made, tasty and moist. There is an eclectic range of art on display to purchase, and to suit all budgets.

A beautiful spot in Botesdale looking along the high street. Great seating indoors and out. I just had coffee but his was outstanding and in comparison to other coffee shops in the area you could feel the care and quality.

I loved Santiago’s! The cakes are really yummy, and everything is locally made. The art around the cafe is interesting, and again created by locals. Really good stop on a walk or cycle for a brownie and a coffee.

Popped in this morning and were warmly welcomed. We enjoyed lovely coffee and a light bite. Great to see vegan and veggie options on the menu. It's a lovely setting featuring local artist work and they're dog friendly. All in all, a nice addition to Botesdale. We will return

Visited on Mother's Day, and it was a lovely treat. We sat upstairs where it was nice and quiet. The pancake selection of both saboury and sweet was fantastic and the fact they can offer GF and vegan options too is great. Our lovely waitress also said they could adapt many of the others on the list too. We also ordered milkshakes (so great!) but next time I'm trying the hot chocolate. In fact I want to try the whole menu so I'll definitely be coming back on repeat. Such a unique little place, love it!

Absolutely awful! Waited for over an hour and 10 minutes in the queue. Not worth the wait!! Disgusting

Sadly, since our last visit, this cafe has gone downhill. The menu has become more limited and the cake options have been reduced, which is a shame as the selection of cakes used to be wonderful. The idea of serving food on a wooden block covered in greaseproof paper is not my idea of fun, but maybe it helps to reduce the washing up ? The only cake offering for gluten intolerance is a chocolate brownie. Do people think that is all we eat, as it it the only offering in most poor cafes. The decor is not as clean as it was and it seems a bit run down. I am guessing that the only people who use this cafe now are people who are there for meetings. What a shame, as this used to be a favourite, but not any more!
