Santa Lucia Deli in Glasgow City

Lovely breakfast for two. Coffee is really good. Food is reasonable value for the location and cannot be faulted for quality. Our dishes were beautifully presented. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the restroom and the cafe is bright, airy and tasetefully decorated. Our only point for improvement would be the waiting staff could be friendlier.

Went in for lunch today and unfortunately did not have a very good experience, ordered a pot of tea and some some hot food and I managed to finish the entire pot before food had arrived, we asked the waitress where the food was and she said the chef had made the wrong food for us. At that point we asked for our money for the food back and the waitress made a very sarcastic comment and said “box there food up and we’ll give it to the homeless boy across he road”. It made us feel very awkward, at no point did they apologise. Very disappointed by this restaurant and the unprofessional lady waitress.

Visitado en un sábado a la hora del almuerzo nos lo pasamos muy bien. El restaurante y el personal eran encantadores, el servicio rápido y la comida era deliciosa.

Sobreprecio por lo que obtienes. El menú de focaccia se ve bien a la vista, pero el producto final es decepcionante. Nada diferente a lo que puedes hacer en casa si compras los ingredientes en el supermercado. El personal podría ser un poco más amable y servicial. Vimos un par de mesas que estaban esperando para pagar sus facturas o que les tomaran el pedido, pero sin atención del personal. Lamentablemente, no volveré.

No había visitado antes y acaba de llegar para un sándwich. La calidad de la comida era increíble. Sándwiches de focaccia muy generosos, opciones de brunch, sopa fresca. Un lugar muy concurrido pero gran servicio de Jennifer y una increíble “trufa croque madame” hecha por Maurizio. Te llenará por una tarde en el extremo oeste.

Tuvimos un almuerzo encantador aquí. Los paninis son deliciosos y el servicio fue excelente. Nos llevamos a nuestra pequeña bebé que dejó caer su taza en el suelo. La camarera Jennifer vio esto y lo recogió y lo coció al vapor limpio para nosotros. Tan considerado y amable. Todo el personal era súper - esperamos volver.

Si usted es alguien que prefiere un café robusta dominante, entonces este es el mejor lugar en Byres Road para ello. Los pasteles son caseros y consisten en sabores bien equilibrados.

No pudimos comer porque la camarera era muy grosera. No era la primera vez que lo hacía. La comida es buena, pero la experiencia no lo fue.

Cuando la comida es buena, ¡es espectacular! Pero desafortunadamente, con demasiada frecuencia mi comida ha llegado quemada o en una ocasión contiene ingredientes / ingredientes que faltan. La calidad es muy variada. Soy un cliente leal, ya que sé que la comida tiene el potencial de ser buena, pero claramente hay alguien en su equipo dejando que los estándares bajen con demasiada frecuencia! Realmente creo que alguien necesita empezar a hacer un control de calidad más exhaustivo como con los alimentos que pueden ser tan grandes que me gustaría mantener esa reputación si fuera yo.

Muy sabroso almuerzo en un descanso de la uni - pedí el Reggio Calabria con salami Ventricina, cohete y crema de nduja ricotta. Mi servidor Caitlin me informó que no tenían el salami Ventricina y me preguntó si estaba bien cambiarlo por el normal, que resultó delicioso, y tbh que era un buen nivel de calor como está! No sabía antes que tenían una zona de estar - que en realidad era bastante cómodo - y el servicio era rápido y educado. Volveré a defo : )

Este fue un excelente lugar para el almuerzo. Precio razonable, excelente servicio e ingredientes frescos de calidad. Ambos sándwiches una focaccia y una masa madre eran deliciosos y valen cada centavo. Espero que vaya de fuerza en fuerza

The Pavia Focaccia was great! The Bergamo sandwich is exceptional! Caitlin, our server was lovely and very pleasant. Overall fantastic experience. Our first time here but not our last.

Loved this place.It was beautiful.Two lovely coffees and chocolate croissants.Sitting outside on the pavement watching the world go by.For less than £10.What more could you possibly want on a sunny afternoon.

Love this place! I'm not often on Byres Road but when I am, I do like to pop in for a coffee or panini. At the very least, a take away coffee! This is the only place in Glasgow i would order an espresso from as im very picky about coffee! The coffee is great and the food is wonderful. Lots of Italian goodness to choose from, whether you have a sweet tooth (tiramisu is a must try!) or savoury (deli meat is delicious and their sandwiches a must). They also sell Italian branded products if you wish to take a little of Italy with you home. Service is always friendly and quick (even when it's busy, they're quite prompt and always polite).

Brilliant night here, great atmosphere, and the food was amazing. Cocktails were good too!! Only thing is we felt a bit pressured, it was busy but no one waiting for tables, but felt we were being pressured to order just after we’d sat down, so would be my only criticism, just let customers enjoy their time out

The deli is near my work so I have dropped in a few times for a quick lunch. The sandwiches are amazing, both times I went with focaccia as the bread and the portion is massive! I have tried both a meat and a vegetarian option and thoroughly enjoyed both. They also sell filled croissants for a very good prices, the pistachio one is my favourite. Love the wee deli vibe and the staff are super friendly!

This is a relatively new Italian deli with an in store cafe as well as Italian foods. The front part of the shop has a deli counter and packaged foods, while the cafe is situated at the back. The decor is bright, airy and pretty much what you’d expect for the west end of Glasgow. The menu options are all Italian based, while sandwich options include Focaccias, Sourdough, Baguette or Paninis breads. We went with Bergamo and Capri Focaccias. Neither are complicated dishes and Santa Lucia Deli did both well. For dessert, we went for classic Tiramisu, which is also sold in a plastic tub for takeout. Oddly, it also came to us in the plastic tub. Other than that, the Tiramisu was classically tasty. Overall, the service is friendly and welcoming, the prices are typical of the west end as is the experience, except for the plastic tub.
