Best curry and service and atmosphere for a long time. Had the buffet at lunch time and the quality was excellent and the staff ensured we got exactly what we wanted and they were very friendly and we would definitely pay another visit. Thank you, Neil and José

Great place, very accommodating of groups

Food is lovely, but the waiting staff need to give some space while finishing off the meal. Gave us the bill without asking, started cleaning the floor around us too. Really put a negative pressure on us to leave.

They were very happy to have a big group, were able to handle everything easily. Food was great and the place is nice.

Nice Indian Resturant...i ordered Lamp Jalali, it was good don't ask to add extra spices, because its aldready a spicy lamb, moreover i tried papri chaat and mango lassi both were awesome in taste😋😋

Best curry I’ve had in a while and I have curries a lot. Usually more about the sauce and rice but the chicken in the chicken lababdor was lush. Sauce perfect spice and taste. Like that you can order poppadom and pickle by the person (I ate alone with no booking on a Friday night and they fit me in) Shame I don’t live in Manchester but when I’m back in the city, I will be back here!

Really amazing place, really good staff. Went to have dinner based on reviews at Indian food places but none around the city centre were as good in service as Sangam. Really polite and attentive to guests. The food was too good (although the portion sizes were a bit smaller than expected :,)). One of the things that stood out for us was staff members greeting us while coming in and going out with a very warm heart. Helpful till the end and our day was made by a bar staff named Ifti (apologies if I pronounced it wrong :) ) who took time to make sure we were getting the best experience through and through..!

It was strange as we had made an reservation lots of different waiters tried to sit us but it went there and back a bit before we were able to sit when there were lots of empty tables and a reservation. As we got seated we were able to order the drinks, the mango lassi was rather so thick and a very thin straw that it really didn’t match so I ordered a new drink and it was okay! The starters were very good! And the main course was also lovely taste and enough for everyone! The meals were lovely delicious but the service could be better and with some many waiters it could be better organised!

We had an amazing time at Sangams, the food was unreal and tasted very authentic. Everything was fairly reasonably priced including drinks, especially for Manchester City centre. All the service staff were very kind and accommodating but Farhan was particularly very helpful. Sangams is definitely worth a visit!

A taste of India right here in Manchester ! I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say, it was amazing incredible experience! The chef- WOW The menu offers a fantastic variety of traditional North Indian dishes. We started with street food all time favourite pani and dahi- puri followed by garlic naan and lamb jalfreizi which were delicious and beautiful presented. And i strongly suggest to try virgin pina colada. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for first time, i personally recommend giving this place a visit. Prices were reasonable but DO CHECK THE FINAL BILLS AS we were rushing and couldn’t check properly we felt that we were charged more. They do accept BLUE LIGHT CARD and have students DISCOUNTS. Price were reasonable

5 work colleagues on a business trip with no idea where to go for dinner, were advised this was a good place to go for a nice meal. We had not made a reservation as did not know one was needed, having never been here previously. When we arrived at approx 6.30pm we were met (I wont use greeted as he wasn't exactly happy to see us) by an older male who asked how many in our party. He then proceeded to look around a mostly empty restaurant and then tell us he could seat us, as long as we left by 8 as he had lots of bookings. We said this was fine as we were all very hungry at this point. We were then shown to a table and our drinks order taken by a young, male waiter. A short while later another waiter came to take our food order but this felt very rushed and impatient, especially with some of our choice of food combinations. When the food eventually arrived an elderly waiter brought it to our table and threw the bowls of curry down without any care or consideration. We proceeded to eat our food which was ok, nothing special and I am not convinced mine was what i ordered. During the time were we were eating we were having bowls removed from our table, almost as if the staff were being told to clear us out as quick as possible, even attempting to remove a colleagues bottle of beer before he had even finished it. We had informed them prior to ordering that as were from different companies we would need to pay individually and they states this would not be a problem. When the time came to pay were asked to walk over to the till, one by one, to pay for what we had consumed but whilst this was happening the male, who had originally shown us to our table, also came over and informed us we could pay now. When he was told were in the process of doing so he then said he would need to move us elsewhere (some still had drinks to finish) as he needed our table (it was 7.42)! My colleagues promptly downed their drinks and we left. This was the most unwelcome I have ever been made to feel in any restaurant and it spoiled our evening after an extremely stressful work day when all we wanted to do was relax and unwind. I would not recommend this place at all as their customer service is abysmal. The only good thing i can say about this place is “nice decor”.

Truly a 5* dining experience! The venue is beautifuly decorated, with great layout and comfortable seating. The food was delicious, bursting with flavours, we just couldn't get enough! I had the best Jalfreizi in my life! The main stars are however the staff! Everyone was so welcoming, attentive and professional, always smiling and we felt really looked after! Thank you and we will be back!

How can a dinner be ruined? By going to this awful restaurant. We were greeted rudely by a bald man, giving us negative vibes from the start, as if we had arrived without a reservation. It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was terrible—bland, undercooked gravy, and dry naan. Serving undercooked Indian gravy to an Indian family is inexcusable. The main course came out in bits and when we asked about it, the server apologized but said the chef was busy. Really? Busy ruining the food? To top it off, there was no water on the table, and we were never offered any. Additionally, despite calling themselves a "Restauro Bar," they blasted loud music that made it impossible to hear each other. They played Indian songs intermittently, only to abruptly stop, forcing us to yell to converse. The food was so bad that we finished it in 10 minutes and had to leave.

As usual wonderful we had buffet and it was so tasty with good price. Really liked it and will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone

Best curry house in Manchester, every dish has amazing flavour! 3 spice if you like it with a kick our favourites are lamb jalfrazi or chicken kasha! The staff are so nice too we always come here if we have a night off from cooking xx

Best Indian meal we have ever eaten. Restaurant spotless and whole ambience was good. Would definitely recommend. Unfortunately we would have to drive 243 miles to enjoy this experience again.

Excellent all round experience. Pretty busy on a Saturday night but still room for two of us. Very friendly staff, efficient service and delicious food. Good sized portions which meant lunch sorted for the day after.

Buffet was great value with plenty of choice.

Food in this place is beyond delicious. I highly recommend lamb hyderabad (sp?). Extremely wholesome, lamb obviously slow cooked for hours upon hours. Succulent, tasty, perfectly spiced. Staff were lovely - special shout out to Farhan - absolute gent. One tiny point for improvement - music a bit too loud. Overall though, fantastic. We'll be back. Thank you! :-)

Visited the restaurant on Friday ( 16/8). Good atmosphere , staff were friendly and service was prompt ( it was pretty empty at 5pm) . Food leaves a lot to be desired . Mediocre cooking style , reminded me of 70s style curry factory grub ( Post larger curry house open till 4am). Indian restaurant cooking has come a long way in authentic style of cooking. Pani pooris were shop bought and stale . All curries were simply hot ,couldn’t taste the chicken or lamb or chana etc. The heat tasted was simply because spices and green chillies weren’t cooked out . Price wise it was okay . . Just travel a couple of miles to the curry mile you’d relish authentic curries . Wouldn’t revisit .

Went to dinner here with four of my coworkers, two of whom had been here before and were greeted warmly by the staff when we walked in. Very upscale atmosphere. I don’t eat much Indian food but everything I tried was fantastic. The best lamb chops I have ever had which came on a mixed platter we had for a starter. I had the chicken Jalfrezi on a bed of lemon rice. It was a bit spicey but very flavorful! Also enjoyed their Cobra bear (lager) and some fantastic Naan. We were all pleased!!

Slighty expensive, but I like the place and visited it twice in my short stay. Toilets were clean.

Order was wrong even though 2 waiters had a go at typing it up.Very odd flavour to the curries not pleasant and they had the cheek to add a 10% service charge to bill which I asked to be removed.Won’t be returning.

I had visited this restaurant a year ago and wow what a disappointment it was this time. The first issue were the open windows pushing bus diesel and noise through whilst eating. The second was the special lunchtime buffet offer - I was eating off the main menu and paying a hell of alot more than the buffet option - but that was my choice. However I was crammed in with everyone on the cheaper meal option - most just drinking water as the cheapest option and eating as much as they could. I think considering they had plenty of room it was rude to sit a family with kids right next to me (and I mean basically we could cross arms difference) when I was clearly eating alone - paying full price - and wanted a relaxing meal. The Chicken Tikka had changed and was served in huge pieces - not like usual and it was so very dry - not tender but overcooked and bone dry. The flavour was not Tikka but a Tandoori like taste. The Pilau rice was good and the Naans were different - not fluffy and light anymore but flat and dry. Good natural garlic in them though and not just drizzled in garlic oil. Mint yogurt was way to thick and very similar to Tsatziki in flavour and texture. Poppadoms were good - and the service was great. I did however see the waiter get the side sauce for my Tikka from the buffet dish! After I said how dry the Tikka was - they gave me a few pieces asking me to try that - still so dry and a bit late really. They compensated me by taking off surcharge which was £4.30! Pathetic as had to put so much mint yogurt on it to keep it moist. I wont be going here again. What a shame - it was one of the best Chicken Tikka dishes in town.

This place is just wow! It’s has been the top of the list in Manchester in terms of food, service and ambiance. The staff are extremely polite, warm and welcoming and make sure they serve you with the best according to your taste! Definitely recommend!

We had a good dinner, the starters were regular and very spicy but the house venison was excellent, the cheese bread also crunchy. It seems a little expensive to me. We ate 3 people and the bill was just over 100 pounds.

Food was taking long time to be served. We ordered kadhai paneer and the gravy was made from just tomato. And it taste like we eating tomato curry.

Food was alright but the music was very loud. Nightclub volume levels. Halal food. Not a family restaurant tho.

Great Indian restaurant with a varied menu and resably priced lwe both had something different from the menu and really enjoyed our food if and when we visit the city again we will certainly come back the food was delicious 😋

Amazing food for the price, decent service but a bit slow. Disappointed with the way they handled the bill, as there was a student discount available but without even asking they bought the bill to the table and asked to pay.

Drinks was too watered down food was average no sauces with the platter gave curry sauce to use.

Celebrated my son’s 18th here - fab lunch buffet and great service. They made a fuss of my son as well!

Hands down the worst restaurant we have ever been to. To start with, their offer with first table is an absolute scam, they advertise it as just needing ONE drink and TWO courses, but on arrival the manager informed us that we would need to order two items in each course and two drinks to avail the offer. See photo of email below. We proceeded to order our drink and WE WERE GIVEN EXPIRED DRINKS. This is absolutely a question on the food safety standards in the restaurant and should not be taken lightly. To add to that the food was not authentic. And they still proceeded to charge us for the expired drinks. It was only upon asking that they removed them from our bill , apologising for a “human error” Don’t recommend to anyone

Fantastic food in a lovely environment

I’ve been a regular at Sangam for over a year now and have never been disappointed by anything! The food and the drinks are always great but what makes this special is the phenomenal service! All the staff, but especially Fahim, Sezan, and Farhan, are very attentive and make the whole experience a lot better.

Best food I had in a long time. I had the lal mas and the flavour was so good, i felt like home. The service was excellent and specially our waiter Rahul was very attentive towards us. Overall i will recommended this restaurant.
