The best curry in Manchester City centre. Couldn’t recommend more, delicious food, great staff (especially Jubaed), fantastic ambiance.

Extraordinarily poor service. Didn't even bother to ask if we need to order something else. Looks like the owner doesn't need business anymore 😃.

I ordered the butter chicken and it was absolutely delicious. If you don’t know what to order, that would be the best choice. The flavour is rich and complex yet simple all at the same time. I went there for a birthday and we had the time of our lives.

This is a great dining experience. I LOVED it. We went on a Thursday after work. Staff very friendly couldn't fault it. It has to be the best place for a curry in Manchester.

Disappointing Experience I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Ordered the fish tikka as a starter, and it only came with 3 small pieces extremely poor quantity for the price (over £9)! On top of that, it wasn’t even tasty. To make things worse, the naan bread I ordered took over 15 minutes to be delivered, and the service overall was unprofessional and slow. Definitely not worth the money or time. I wouldn’t recommend trying this place, even once.

According to price the quantity is too low , specially fish tikka , miscommunication between the staff.

Went there for my birthday had an amazing experience. Jubaed was amazing.

Very poor service l, the person who attended was very disrespectful and made comments to my elderly parents asking if they are adults at the door, and as we sat down he looked at us with disdain and also grinned at us. Not at all cordial for a good restaurant.

We popped in here whilst staying just up the road at a popular hotel. I walked down to book a table and so glad I did. When we arrived the restaurant was already very busy, but we were promptly shown to our table. Staff are friendly, attentive, and helpfull, the food was first rate, and fresh, and promptly served without the hurried nature sometimes experienced in some establishments. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Aye, I was there last night … Genuinely guys … I’m not that into Indian food… prob because I don’t know what I’m getting or what to order .. myself and my family were in Manchester for the weekend and stupidly didn’t realise how busy places would be … tried a few places and were turned away as we didn’t book in advance .. we were drawn to this place as it looked fab from the road side , looked busy .. chanced our arm. We were asked if we had a booking, we didn’t .. the lovely gentleman told us to take a seat and to give him a minute .. he came back within 5 and showed us to a table .. we all ordered something that looked remotely edible to each of us (simply because we weren’t seasoned Indian food eaters) … with some trepidation.. … WELL… we were blown away … the food was fantastic… and I mean fantastic… only topped to be honest by the service we received by not one, but all of the waiting staff… The staff are a credit to the place … the actual place is a credit to the owner also .. clean and warm and very homely … The only thing I would say as a negative and it’s not really a negative … It was easy to pick out who the owner was .. meaning he was very vocal to the waiting staff who were doing a great job … vocal to the point that myself and my family felt he didn’t appreciate how good they were and got great satisfaction from finger pointing at them and directing traffic if that makes sense … It let the place down a bit because we felt he didn’t trust what a good job his staff were doing .. stupid as it may sound … ! Fabulous place .. well presented, great waiting staff with a wonderful attitude.., and more importantly the food was top drawer… I get that the owner wants perfection but surely there is a more discreet way of going about it and in turn appreciating what a great job he and his staff and cooks do..! Well done guys .. I’ll recommend this place to all that I know are visiting Manchester

Wow, where do i begin. THE CURRY, the butter chicken sits sweet on my mind, my mouth sings for more, i can barely contain the joy this curry brought me. The naan, beautiful, do i need to say more. An explosion of flavour this is the future of cuisine. Huge. Huge. Huge.

They forgot my order of a second coke so it never came I left thirsty. They didn’t seem customer orientated at all, forgetting orders, taking forever to give a simple drink (even my first coke took about 15 minutes to come). slamming cups on table and snatching menus. Didn’t deserve the service charge. Place is nicely decorated and food is okay.

Absolutely fantastic it was my birthday and they even surprised me with a cake a hat and all the staff sang happy birthday to me too, Sezan was our waiter and he was fantastic too food was outstanding wish I could do more than 5 stars

Has the very best birthday meal for my niece’s birthday, food was delicious, service was quick, and then the waiters surprised us with a birthday cake and candle, it was a fantastic night. Highly recommend, thank you to Sezan our waiter for making our night extra special.

Had the most amazing meal to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Sezan went out of his way to make our meal the best. Would definitely be back next time in Manchester.

It was pretty close to my house so I usually goes to this restaurant to eat, though I got food poisoning continuously 3 times in row.I never had food poisoning before as my digestive system is very good. First time I didn't realised this is the reason, second time I still thought I might eat something bad which I don't do normally but third time It confirmed that the food from sangam is the reason. Every thing else is good but I doubt they are using some rotten item in cooking.

Booked online for 4pm Saturday and already the place was busy. Such a nice interior and all the staff are so welcoming. For food I had poppadoms, onion bhaji, chicken balti and cheese naan. All delicious. Special mention to Sezan who looked after us and is an absolute credit to the place. Thank you. 5* will definitely return x

This Indian food is sooo nice! We eat buffet just for 16£! Cheap and tasty, I prefer that chicken even if I don’t know what is name! Truly recommendation for everyone!

Tasnim and the team gave a huge warm welcome and service. Nothing was too much trouble! Food was 10/10. A lot of the team are fussy eaters, so rare for us all to enjoy a meal as much as we did tonight! The tastiest Indian we have had, and most definitely exceeded all of our expectations.. especially the lamb tikka chops.. wow! The meat so succulent and tender and FULL of flavour! Our taste buds were going wild! The strawberry daiquiri was sublime. The list goes on, not a single complaint within the team for service, food and drinks! We can't wait for next time already. I am definitely the favourite boss after treating the team at Manchester Flight Sim Centre this evening!

The service was excellent and all the waiters had a smile on their faces. Sezan and his team did a great job. We ordered the butter chicken and the mixed grill, naan and rice. The portions are big, we couldn't finish it, though the food was so tasty. The restaurant is clean and the restroom as well. We recommend it. Superb!

Excellent service, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere. We visited on a busy Saturday evening (booking is highly recommended), but the wait for food was reasonable despite how full the restaurant was. The staff were hardworking and courteous, promptly resolving a minor issue with one of our dishes. The food was outstanding, and the beautifully decorated, atmospheric setting added to the overall experience.

Literally our favourite Idndian dining experience inc fine dining. Our server Ruhan was so attentive and caring the food was to die for (only criticism too much - people taking doggy bags home) But seriously so glad we dropped on this place defo coming back in next Manchester stay

Popped in here randomly when no one else was open, and ended up having the best curry of my life! 10/10 recommend. Lovely staff too. Wish they had a Sangham in London!

Very smooth and friendly service. Maybe a bit too smooth. There could be a bit more time between courses and we didn't get the chance to look at our bill properly before it was taken away. Towards the end the staff made a few mistakes but they made up for this with their friendliness. The food was well seasoned, only the meat and salmon were a bit on the dry side. Monjito could contain a bit less alcohol, a bit more sugar, lime and mint. A lot of attention was paid to hygiene. The manager has a good grip on everything. Generally recommended.

I’ve visited many times for a masala chai,most of the times I didn’t get masala chai, staff said kitchen is very busy we can’t serve Masala chai for now.

A top quality Indian dining experience - the food was delicious, service and atmosphere both top-notch, and the staff were very allergy-conscious which is always appreciated.

All good. The disches with "hot-plate" are not as good as the disches where the meat is already in the sauce.

This establishment has gone noticeably downhill since we last visited approximately 12 months ago. The range of dishes on offer has been cut, the quality (bland in flavour) and quantity (children's-sized portions) of servings lack their former splendour and prices have shot up disproportionately. Although professional enough in the performance of their duties, disappointingly many of the waiters, for some reason, look distinctly disgruntled which is sad to see as this never happened before on previous visits to Sangam. Taking all of the aforementioned together the dining experience is, in a word, underwhelming. I no longer recommend dining in Sangam and shall be in no rush to return.

This was my first time visiting this beautiful restaurant. Inside was immaculate and very comfortable. The starter and main meal was perfect chicken tikka was quality chicken and just melted In your mouth. I had chicken tikka massala and rogan josh both dishes was lovely. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the food will definitely be visiting again ☺️

Great first experience at Sagnam! The service, food and atmosphere was great!

We were sat down for 11 minutes before someone came to take a drink order, then we ordered our food, the starters arrived before the drinks. The starters did not all arrive at the same time, we had to ask for the final dish. The mains were incorrect, they had delivered a wrong dish so again we did not get the food at the same time. Food itself was very good but service was poor, it's not a lack of staff, just not well managed front of house.

We had an unforgettable experience celebrating my birthday with family. The service was exceptional, with Shahin and the entire team going above and beyond to make us feel special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to create beautiful memories—it's truly a gem!

Nice Indian Resturant...i ordered Lamp Jalali, it was good don't ask to add extra spices, because its aldready a spicy lamb, moreover i tried papri chaat and mango lassi both were awesome in taste😋😋

Food is lovely, but the waiting staff need to give some space while finishing off the meal. Gave us the bill without asking, started cleaning the floor around us too. Really put a negative pressure on us to leave.
