First time visiting and very impressed! Staff very welcoming, prices very reasonable, food quality and taste excellent! This will be our regular chippy from now on. *nice touch adding a slice of lemon to the fish orders*

Quality and service with a smile, usually very busy queueing out the door.. top fish and chips!

At this point I'm giving up with kebabs in Eastleigh. Ask for garlic sauce and jalapeños and recieve neither. Kebab prices are massive making it a pain to eat. Doesn't taste bad but ffs people want an easy kebab. With what they ask for on it. Stop doing these massive strips you need a knife and fork for and get the order right

Never a bad thing to say about the staff,food or cleanliness and always will cater for all size food eaters and the children's chips are enough for a normal adult with whatever they choose to go with them.

I represent six hungry workers who once week like their lunch from the chippy. After using several so called "award winning" chip shops in and around Eastleigh, and been left very disappointed, I can highly recommend Sandra's. The shop is always clean and tidy, the service is friendly and polite, and the food is the best. Thank you Sandra and team, we will keep coming back for more!

Omg I drive from southampton to this chippie it is the best one I've ever tasted,and I'm originally from Blackpool wich has hundreds of fish and chip shops with smelly used oil in them,so I thought mmm let me try the donner meat and chicken meat ,it did nor disappoint me absolutely gorgeous, the staff are so friendly the man and woman who own it are great ,the prices are very reasonable it's also spotless, don't just take my word for it get there before I eat everything .I forgot about the fish and chips ,the batter is outstanding the fish succulent, proper chips it's making me hungry thinking of them.

Two small cod, one large chips, Cod was cold,chips also cold,looked like the leftovers from lunch time, scraps,very poor,Derby Road chip shop is 100%better,fresh, hot and good value for money.

Forget Istanbul Grill, go get a Kebab from Sandra's! The portion sizes are very generous and a lot tastier. First ever visit and certainly won't be going elsewhere. No negatives (except i couldn't finish the large kebab) and thats usually not a challenge!

Best fish and chips and not crazy prices

We've been going here occasionally for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. They're often busy so calling can take a while, but that's understandable.We tend to stick to a few standards, fish, battered sausage, occasional chicken kebab so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, Portion sizes are good and prices are very reasonable. The staff are generally friendly even when they're rushed. If you drive there, it can be difficult to park, just a warning!

I have been going to Sandra’s fish and chips every Wednesday for the past 3 years the staff got to know me immediately and they’re an absolute pleasure, the food is always great and the atmosphere is amazing, all of the staff are happy to have a conversation and I always enjoy seeing them smile as I walk through the door. The food is always cooked to order and it’s the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and ever will have.

Brilliant place, I've been going ever since I moved to the area. Amazing fish and chips still at a very good price compared to most other places. Also very nice and friendly staff. I don't live that nearby and there are other closer chippies but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Burnt cold chips not fresh fried, service took too long and people who came in behind us got served first even though our order was cooked. We like going here but can be hit and miss with the preparation of the order and can end up with food that has been sitting in the warmer and not freshly cooked.

First time using this chippy will definitely be returning. 2 jumbo batterd sos 3 fishcakes scampi and and two chips for less then £20. feed 7 of us with plenty left over.really good food really good price.

Good fish and chips. Nicely cooked, batter crisp and fish served with a slice of lemon. Prices used to be reasonable but have now increased considerably and amount of chips are slightly less. Hope they don't price themselves out of the market. One thing, the pea fritters could be doing with being more crispy.

Often mentioned on Facebook as the best in Eastleigh and I would definitely agree. Fish is consistently great and chips are very nice and decent portions. Large battered sausages are good. Occasionly get a kebab as a change and these are always very nice too.

Not the best fish and chips in the south but not the worst by a long shot. Mushy peas could be thicker but great flavour, generous chip portions, curry sauce is ok.

Fabulous, best fish I'd had in ages!

This is our local chippy, if you’re ever in Eastleigh and haven’t sorted out dinner, Sandra’s is the place with a great take a way selection, from fish to burgers& pies and kebab. Always satisfying and quick service, has never let us down would happily recommend to anyone and prices aren’t bad considering how tasty their food is.

Sandra's used to be great, but now there's bones in the kebab meat, their chilli chips are more sour than spicy and their kebab chicken more often than not is pink on the inside, meaning raw. Edit: the bones in their food chipped my tooth

Don't be fooled by the somewhat dilapidated exterior, Inside you'll find delicious fish and chips.Haddock and large chips were very good, with left over chips for the next day. Would be nice to see more veggie options and could do with a lick of paint.

Good food, friendly staff. The vegetarian option is chips, cheese and beans, their vegi burger is not worth considering.

Always have good fresh chips and the fish is superb and seating if you want.

Terrible to say the least, i bought a battered sausage and chips... The sausage had two coats of batter, it was clear it was cooked in the morning, didnt sell so it was batterd again and sold... I have to say the same for the chips they were deyhdrated like cardboard. I did not eat them... After nearly 30 years i wont be going there again

Normally absolutely lush, last meal wasn't though but when raised with them their customer service was brilliant.

Huge portions and really reasonably priced. Only not 5 star as oil tasted a bit old on the chips.

Excellent food but slow, slow queue, need to get a member of staff along that queue taking orders before they get to the till to speed it up.

It would be great if they answered their phone.

Chips were good but the cod seemed a bit overcooked as it was actually chewy around the edges.

Tasty food and very friendly staff

First time and very impressed. Only had a pea fritter and chips but both were some of the best I've had. Parking is awkward with permit controlled zones on nearby roads until 8pm. The chips survived an 8 minute drive home and were still hot and crispy, really tasty.
