Salt On The Harbour Upstairs in East Riding of Yorkshire

We came upon the restaurant purely by a walk by, it looked like a nice place to eat and have a quiet drink, so we booked dinner. I particularly wanted a window seat upstairs (fine dining feel) over looking the harbour (downstairs has good views too) so booked for 5pm to guarantee a window seat. The staff were friendly and most accommodating, we really enjoyed the food, especially the oysters and mussels, presented beautifully. Couldn’t fault, the price was good, food was good, great view, has a nice dining feel about it if you like a nice dining experience. .

Great place for seafood or just fish and chips. Six of us ate here and all had the fish and chips, one of which was made gluten free.( No batter) The staff and service were spot on and even offered us a full round of drinks for our extra wait. Staff very efficient and very attentive. Many thanks

Fabulous food and views! Visited this upstairs restaurant and was expecting good views of the harbour...even on a rainy day they didn't disappoint as we loved looking out to sea whilst eating seafood. The menu revolved around the fantastic seafood. We had salt and pepper squid and whitebait for starters, then lobster for mains. We thought the price was worth it as the food was delicious... spot on! The service was great and good atmosphere. Will be back and will recommend 😊

This restaurant deserves a wider audience .The food is very good ,went Friday night fish cake probably best ever followed by red bream ,good wines,service just right .Definitely worth another visit
