Absolutely what we wanted!. Visited the local hospital and on way back fancied a proper brekky. Found this place in Histon. Great friendly service. Brekky roll was one of the best we have had. Loved it.

If you want to avoid the trendy avocado cafe culture and enjoy traditional home cooked food, then visit this church cafe. The staff are friendly, the food always made on site, well priced and delicious. There is local art work to enjoy and always a welcome. highly recommended.

My daughter lives nearby and we wanted to take her out to breakfast before heading home. Food was great; we had full English and Vegetarian English breakfast. We had 'proper' coffee - an essential start to any day. It's a nice, friendly environment. Toilets are very clean.

St Andrews cafe in Histon offers superb home cooked food at reasonable prices in a relaxed atmosphere. If you just want a coffee or a full breafast/lunch, St Andrews is the place to visit in the village. The staff mainly volunteers are very friendly, it's a lovely place to while away an hour reading the paper, or talking to friends.

We visited this cafe for the first time today, despite living in the village since it opened . The lunch we had was great quality and value for money and the coffee was better than other cafe in the area. The panini we had were delicious, goat cheese and caramelised onions. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We will certainly be back. Thank you.

Wonderful find in the heart of Histon and the only cafe there is although there are several pubs. Reasonably priced homemade food which was delicious. Good selection for children too. The cafe is small and by 1230 on a Wednesday was full to bursting so if you are planning lunch be early! Linked to the church which runs all sorts of events and classes for adults and children. Will definitely be back!

This is the 3rd time I have visited and it will be the last. The service is so slow .The 2 previous visits were just the same and no atmosphere but we kept thinking it might have improved, alas not. How you can take nearly 10 minutes to make 2 cups of coffee when that is the only order they have at the counter I do not know.

Popped in to pick up two heated sausage rolls for our lunch on the road. Cost £6! For just two sausages roll I think this is a rip off. Expected better of a church centre

I visited the cafe for lunch with my family. It was fairly busy - most tables occupied, as we arrived a pair of sofas became free - excellent. After ordering, our food arrived within a few minutes, delivered to our table by a couple of polite waitresses. We chose soup and paninis. The soup was home made and tasty. The paninis were perfectly good - some we had with salad, and some with crisps. I'd recommend the goats cheese and red onion marmalade.

Light, airy cafe with lovely clean toilets. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and happy to deal with slight variations of the menu. The quiches looked amazing and obviously all home made, although we opted for paninis, home-made soup and the popular children's lunch box. Great cake options too. Be sure to get there early though - it can get busy at lunchtimes.

It's a nice enough place and the saff are friendly. But the service is really slow and the food was bland. We waited about 15 minutes for 2 bowls of soup. There was never more than 1 person being served and 3 staff available. When it arrived it was bland and tasted like shop bought. The portion was small and the accompanying roll was tiny.

been to herbies a few times in the past, but came tonight and was abit disappointed The milkshakes were lovely but I ordered a lotus one and a kinder bueno one .. they both tasted just like plain vanilla with hardly any lotus or kinder flavour in them! Which was a shame For £6 each and I ordered a vegan hotdog it come in a different bun to the normal one and it was really dry bread, I asked if I could get the non vegan bun like my partner had and they swapped it Which was much nicer and softer But after paying our bill they had charged us £2 for the bun I stated the other one was really dry so why did we have to pay and the blonde girl behind the till got really funny about it (she come across quite rude And made it out like I was being fussy and should pay for it but really it was unedible for a £17 hotdog! Anyway for £48 for 2 average hot dogs and 2 milkshakes is way over priced for what it is Nice young lad waitressing tho and gave him a tip :)
