Sainsbury's Retaurant in Renfrewshire

I went to sainsbury's and most of the food was expired and looked out of date, this place also was really unhygienic and needed more staff.

I went for lunch today, a toastie and coffee, the server open the pack and placed the toastie on a tray and put in oven , he proceeded to make coffee,then picked up a dish cloth and wiped down the surfaces, opened the oven door slid my toastie onto a surface and proceeded to cut it & place it on a plate without using tongs he used his hands which he had not washed after using a dish cloth to wipe down surfaces. I politely asked for another one and explained he had not washed his hands , he said they were clean and the cloth was clean however I wanted another. He then said if you want another go and get it, I declined and said no you will have to do that and he muttered something under his breath. I then said to the other server is there a manager I could speak to and when the rude server returned with my toastie she said “ She wants to speak to a manager “ I replied the customer would like to speak to a manager. The rude server put my second toastie n the oven, remade my coffee and this time washed his hands and used tongs to serve and then proceeded to bang it down on the surface. I said “ can you get me a manager “ he said “ no I am not going to get you a manager , you will have to go to customer services and get one yourself”. Which I did, the manager was very professional and listened to my story , my second toastie had a bunch of currents on the underside from a cutting board that’s had obviously not been cleaned, I obviously did not eat it. My lunch was refunded and compensation given which was very nice, however there must be better hygiene and customer service training as I was polite and explained my concerns which the rude server decided was unacceptable and behaved appallingly towards me.

Unhelpful and rude staff, asked for 2 coffees and was told "well if you want hot drinks you will just need to have paper cups" as if it was my fault there was insufficient staff to clean up. The coffee was nearer water than coffee once we got them, very bland.

Due to insufficient staff the service is slow which is affecting the quality and the hotness of the food which is a shame as this was a value for money restaurant.

Usually go her on a Friday for fish and chips,I don't like peas so when i ask to get beans they change it also my wife is not keen on chips so she gets a half jacket potato instead with the fish.Staff are friendly enough prices good.

Food here is good and good value for money but the service let's it down as it's so slow even when the restaurant is half full.

We were delighted with our visit. Good speedy service by smiling customer service staff. The food and drinks tasty. And, of course, Nector points. Good sized free car park and WIFI. On site toilets.

This is the cafe my sister and I have afternoon tea or an early dinner when we are finished traipsing the mall. The dinning room is always clean. The food is always good. The toilets are always clean. And the staff are always pleasant and friendly. Throw in that it is also fairly cheap and you can’t grumble. Highly recommend.

Very clean and inexpensive cafe to have a coffee or light meal while shopping for your groceries in the store.

Not a great choice of food in comparison to other supermarkets. Had cream tea as did not fancy lunch. Tea was made with tea bag in cup was not to my taste never drank it. Notice not a lot of room for high chairs so not baby friendly.

Called in here for a snack and a coffee while shopping!! It never changes but the scone and coffee were good - it also prevents me from spending a fortune on groceries when hungry!!

Food choice could be updated as its been the same for years, it's reasonably priced and the service is quick . Poor selection of cakes . Please don't put beans on top of chips , give us a side bowl for beans . Ok for quick snack . Staff are nice

We had a really nice lunch in at 14.32 and the staff behind counter were lovely also very helpful. Will come back again, only thing I would say was the overhead fans could do with not being on at this time of yr as it was very drafty.

We went for brunch and have no complaints about the food or drinks. The cheese and ham omelette with salad was delicious but the available cutlery was mostly filthy hence the comment about the dishwasher. Maybe some quality control too?

I have been here on a few occasions now and I have never been disappointed. The fish and chips are spot on. Good value for money. As for people complaining about the price there's a mcdonalds at the opposite end of the carpark...

Clean place, friendly efficient staff but the Macaroni was horrible frozen chips were ok, a very little salad

En realidad es muy buena relación calidad-precio. Tienes una comida adecuada. Está hecha para usted mientras usted espera, no estilo cantina. fichas de huevo de jamón para una fiver, café de una libra? Es más barato que Ikea al otro lado de la carretera, es más tranquila pero dinámica. El personal allí, como todo el personal de Sains, tan decente y amable y profesional y cortés. Hay algo agradable e informal sobre el comedor ... periódicos gratis y un ambiente de punta. Gran crédito para el personal. Probablemente va a ir allí más de Ikea ahora.

i go shopping in sainsburys with my daughters andand grandaughter and we often use the restuarant .my favourite is the cod and chips.could recomend it to anyone.

Rather expensive for what is on offer. Limited choice. Ham salad was nice but not worth the money for 2 slices of ham, salad greens, tomato and coleslaw. Perhaps this is why it is usually fairly empty.

Fui a esta cafetería encantadora en mi camino al Xscape cercano en el 30/03/2014. La persona detrás de la hasta fue muy amable y cuando me estaba charlando con él podía sentir las horas liberar como yo perdimos a sus ojos. Todo lo que quería era una papa horneada, en vez me dieron un pedazo de carne ; ). De todos modos, la comida es buena y el lugar es limpio y el personal es agradable. Los rumores de té gratuito limón son falsas, lo que realmente cuesta £1 (todavía una ganga).

tan extraño para leer el comentario más abajo como me parecen haber encontrado esta taysider bajo mi a menudo ocasiones en las que la caf. El chico parece ser el brunch boy y nunca shys lejos de mantener una conversación. a menudo me encontré charlando con el niño cuando mi esposa me deja ir y hacer compras. Soy un cliente habitual de Sainsbury's y nunca he conocido a ser nada más que una institución correcta. Nunca había estado en el café antes, pero era un poco de hambre así que decidimos este domingo por la tarde esta vez era tan bueno como cualquier otro para perder a la virginidad de mi Sainsbury's café. Me sentí aliviado al entrar a ver mi plato favorito, queso Macaroni, estaba disponible para el precio barato de £5.25 . Sin embargo, esta ayuda no duró mucho, ya que luego de recibir mi orden, me disgustó a ver antes de mí, no Macaroni queso, pero pasta macarrones en una cursi salsa! Para su crédito, después de explicar repetidamente cómo mi comida estaba claramente no queso Macaroni como anuncian, hizo rápidamente el dinero antes que se apuran por todos lados con un derrotó grimace. No estoy seguro de que mi confianza en Sainsbury's jamás podrá ser recuperada y yo solo espero que esta revisión impide otros clientes potenciales caer víctima de su publicidad engañosa.

I come here every Sunday evening and I am always delighted with the service received. This is particularly in thanks to one young Dundonian lad, who seems to serve me every time I'm there! This young Taysider is always good for a chin-wag, whether it be medical related or otherwise, and may even throw in a free tea if you're lucky! I couldn't ask for better service, or lemon tea for that matter, and thoroughly recommend this place as long as this lad is serving.

Went for a snack in-between meals, it was cooked fresh and was delicious for the cost. Free papers to read while you wait for the food and comfy chairs.
