I think it’s overpriced for what it is, a lot of the produce are just regular items that you can get from anywhere else for a fraction of the price. You need to actually look and inspect and then you will find higher quality items, musnt assume because of their brand and price tag that the quality is better than your regular supermarket.

Quality of prepared fruit has gone down hill, and no more orange juice. Instead you get commercial orange juice

I suffer with allergy and can’t eat as much vegetables and fruits usually , since I tried their organic stuff, I have had no problem.

Shop here on a regular basis, great selections of herbs spices and condiments, fresh fruit and veg a bit overpriced, the butchers range has dropped over the last year or so, used to get the racks of ribs and bratwurst but they haven’t had for a while now. Otherwise a really good place to shop.

One of the biggest Whole Foods Market here in London. You can even find fruits like starfruit, rambutan, mangosteen and dragon fruit here!

They have a good amount of vegan products, but honestly, they could do a little better in terms of variety. That said, be prepared to pay a premium because it’s definitely on the expensive side. Great selection of produce, staff friendly and helpful

Followed round the store by the security guard. I picked my items, paid and left. Then I was grabbed by a store assistant who marched me back inside telling me I hadn't paid. Embarrassing me in front of exiting and entering customers, once I produced my clearly paid for receipt the sales assistant said "but you were at till 2 and that's been left unpaid" I was at till 7, obviously someone else left their shopping without paying. This whole situation was mortifying due to the incompetence of the staff, and worse still the actual person got away with it. I will not be returning.

I often go there to have a small meal, a hot or cold salad at the self service buffet. It's a bit pricey but it's London so it's quite an average price (10/12 pounds for a box). You can buy the meal at the counter or pick your own foods. I don't know how they can keep so much variety and stock, I'm impressed by the choice of foods. They also have a huge seating area, where you can relax a bit. Really good place and great foods.

One of the best supermarkets in town. You can get everything and the goods are of good quality. There is a huge selection of fresh food downstairs. Self service, everything is very tasty, at the end you have to pay by weight. I highly recommend this place to everyone. We will definitely come back to shop here again.

Pricing is based on 100 grams and this is weighed at the checkout. There is a price difference between sitting there and eating and taking takeaway; It's a little more expensive when you sit down and eat. Whole Foods Market is an expensive chain in general, and this is also reflected in the food. Meals that you can eat outside at a restaurant may not be so attractive for you to choose to come and eat here. However, if you want to "have a snack right away" or "eat some vegetables and go with me", you can try this place. I paid about 10 pounds for the box in the photo. Fantastic, huge store. There is everything to eat and everything else. I have been to this store many years ago. But they have completely renovated a huge space on two floors. Prices quite high, however all the food is organic.

Great supermarket, with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Prices in line with London. It is also possible to eat, there are dedicated tables and a buffet service. The cost for a very filling lunch is around £23 each. For water you can buy it or ask for tap water. You eat super clean and very well too. Recommended for both supermarket products and quick lunches.

Good range of food with hot and cold fresh food

The best whole foods shop in London to visit, it’s nice to shop here even though expensive (what do you expect I guess) they have a lot of different brands on offer I’ve never seen anywhere else. So many drinks to choose from, lots of lovely cheese, cakes and hot food. Definitely worth going into if you have never been in one before and treating yourself every once in an awhile.

Terrible service and chaotic store. I was so disappointed and disgusted today after asking if the store sold nail polish to be barked at ‘no’ by a member of staff who was chatting with other staff members at the counter. During the time I was there another customer was also clearly upset by the attitude of the staff, she was also clearly distressed and frustrated due to the attitude of the supervisor and the same staff who were rude to me. The one relief was that the person working in the wine section was very helpful. I will not be returning to this store again and will continue to shop at small local businesses instead.

Whole Foods branch seems to have some confusion about its closing times. Although it was supposed to close at 7 PM, it shut its doors at 6 PM instead. The branch manager addressed the crowd, stating he represents the branch but not the company. This felt unprofessional and dismissive. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a better experience for customers in the future. Branch Manager’s name was Spiros.

Whole Foods Market is a great place if you need to stock up on organic products that cannot be sourced from other supermarkets. I was first introduced to Whole Foods in San Francisco where it's hard to find organic food, not as hard as most other cities in the US. I was happy to see Whole Foods Market in London given they were stocking some of my favoured yet ethical brands.

I like all their products, very high quality and lots of organic options and free from products. Of course being in central it is on the pricier side, although I did find some products which are cheaper than even Amazon.

Bought a pumpkin pie in store today and got it home to find mould growing throughout the pie. This is a pie they are selling for £9.99. On closer inspection the mould is quite widespread within the pie so very likely would have made us very sick if we had eaten it, does lead to the question why they are not refrigerating these perishable items in store

One of my favorite grocery stores is Whole Foods. It’s relatively expensive, but the quality and variety of products are worth it, especially for unique and local brands. The hot food counters are fantastic, with tasty options. The store is big, offering an impressive selection. Even if we are not buying much, we enjoy browsing for treats and specialty items.

Well some of the food stalls products are not quite as fresh as they should be.

The place was in a funk but has been improved. I think the quality may be there to rival Waitrose and M&S. cannot wait for further expansions.

The organic vegetables now have chemicals ,my mouth taste chemicals (the greens Nero and broccoli)after eating them,before did not happen . This is very concerning because if we cannot eat organic vegetables from farmers what do we will have to eat? Macdonalds? The UK farmers are cheating .

High quality ingredients, bought cheese and ham

This particular Kensington location is definitely not practicing WFM culture like how they’re supposed to (customer obsession). I visited this store around 7pm on a Friday night, the store wasn’t even that busy. SCO girl was extremely snobby, I asked her if I can use my whole foods discount code (yes, I work at US branch) she said zero words, scanned her barcode and walked away acted like I was a bother. Wow! Day and night compare to US stores, even the worst store in the US is still friendlier than Kensington location. Security guard was rude, I asked him where can I find “produce”, he was like “what!?” He looked at me like I’m daft. I said “fruits and vegetables”, he pointed his finger down and walked away (again, like I was a bother). I feel sorry for your store when our CEO or someone important from the main branch came for a surprise visit. Very disappointed on my visit. Hopefully SOHO and Camden locations have better service.

Very impressed with the size and range. I love going to Whole Foods, even if it's just to browse. It's pricey, but you also find all sorts of treats. The fresh produce, snacks, vitamins and hair care all looked fab. It can be a bit snooty in Kensington, but if you're not fussed about that, then you might like it here. It's over two floors, so posdibly double the size of the Picadilly Circus store, which has always been one of my favourites to pop to when I'm nearby. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area.

Whole Foods is truly a great place to run errands or even eat on the go. The fact that the price is calculated by weight is a real plus, because it allows you to take just what you want, without waste. The food is really delicious, everything is fresh and of good quality. This is ideal if you are in a hurry and want to eat well. The staff is also very pleasant and always ready to help. Whether for shopping or eating on site, this is a very good place to recommend!

Update!! To he last few times we went to this WFM it was unrecognizable. It they’re back! Is there new management ? The supplement section was back to outstanding. We found some interesting products for sure. The food bar has gotten better but I still miss the hey days with the restaurants upstairs. Is there ever going to be anything up there again? I was happy not to notice any of the awful supermarket brands. And there were fruit flies on the pastries so that was a bit off putting *** This was. 1 star review: Awful Pizza is now tasteless and the slices shrunk. Half the variety is gone. No whole foods branded items. Mostly what you can get in any high street supermarket. And a gentleman who works approached my child encouraging him to try a ketchup sample. I already told him no. He persisted. Been a WF customer since 1998. Worse and worse in UK, USA and Canada since Amazon purchased.

Bought a ‘Yummy chocolate cupcake’; was not yummy.

Quality ❌ Fruit n veg, meat, fish, meals looked dry, discoloured and old. It freaked me out seeing mountains of food stacked up expiring on the day of visit - at 9pm. Do they throw them all away or put a sticker with the new expiry date !? ☠️ Against all my gut instinct, I tried their sushi - and it was bad. Ambience ❌ Downstairs reek of urine, near the loo 🤢 Range ❌ There is nothing they stock you can't find in other places for cheaper. I love the Whole Foods stores in the US, the magic isn’t here in London. Planet organic does this better or Notting Hill Fish + meat shop - where the food and veg there are all insanely fresh and delicious.

If you're expecting the same as Whole Foods in the US, you're in for a disappointment. The store itself was nice - clean, well presented, etc. But the selection of goods on offer isn't comparable to similar sized US locations.

One of the bests supermarkets to find mostly everything.

I visited Japan House today, and then I went to the Whole Foods market next to it. There was Gui Lao Liang Tan rice in it. After you choose it, go to the cashier to count the weight. It’s £24/kg. It’s not expensive, and it tastes good. Baguette is also the only one. At 1.49, I can give it a try if it is of good quality. After comparing the money, there is a place near the door where I can sit low and eat immediately. The environment is good.

Tried the new living things soda at whole foods and loved the natural flavour and reccomend it.

**updated. Now do courgette and aubergine grilled without dosing in oil which if desired is in the sauce section. Lovely cajun chicken presently with roasted red onion and peppers. Would be nice to have fish option that isn't breaded. Eating section, one side is warm and the other is like dining in the Artic, Wholefoods should sell dining-in jumpers. Always well stocked with staples and niche items. Would like if a sturdier wipe proof bag could be bought that can hold salad bar boxed without breaking the handles or sliding about.

Absolutely incredible store with food to suit everyone's taste. Hot or cold, healthy options and sauces with which to baste. I love the meat lasagne or katsu curry's flavours It's certainly worth a visit...and the price won't break the bank either.

I recently bought a box of strawberries in the store. The cashier said the transaction could not go through and insisted me to pay again. I contacted the customer service for the double payment but the service desk refused to refund. This is definitely the worst experience I had with the UK supermarket.

Awesome food store. Fresh fruits, salads and everything else is supremely fresh and reasonably priced here. Pizza was awesome too. Ate at least one meal here everyday during my 5 day visit to London this summer with my 10 year old.

I went to the fishmonger for some fresh fish and it was the most unhelpful customer service I've ever met. I asked what they recommended out of the marinated cod and the response was "it's down to what you want", to which I replied "I like a strong flavour profile and was met with the same response. When I then chose the cod fillet, he then marked it as something else which was double the price and when challenged, he didn't check the price but instantly knew he was wrong and changed it. From the interaction before, I'm expecting that it wad either deliberate or he didn't care. The only saving grace is that the fish was good. Check the calculation on your fish!

I have been to other locations of Whole foods market and I would prefer this one as it's much bigger with many more choices. I like that you can find some of the local (London) independent brands which offer good quality (though quite expensive indeed). Love its hot food counters and previously tried some of the food like meatballs which were very tasty. This time I had these chicken pesto ciabatta which was nice too. The ciabatta was soft and not dry. The price for this was reasonable.

Terrible experience in this store in which employees allow themselves to express their political ideas, in a place where you think you are going to relax and simply do your shopping. An employee, Soraya, greets you at the checkout with a scarf on her head resembling a keffiyeh and a Palestinian flag slung over her work tunic. Symbols synonymous for many customers frequenting this store with the terrible atrocities of 07/10, destruction and hatred of Jews. To flee!

Very expensive but quality supermarket number 1 in London

Full range of grocery products, delicious cakes and snacks. The temptation is high here, and so is the appetite. You can find ready-made fresh products, you just have to decide what you want. Definitely buy Parmigiano Reggiano. There is also a dining area right after the cash registers where you can enjoy what you bought right away. You can also find toilets and a flower shop.

May organic options available. Also the hot food till 8pm, def recommended
