Out on a bike ride with a friend, we spent just shy of £20.00 for lunch. Just before leaving we asked them to fill our two bike bottles with tap water. Absolutely unbelievably, they wanted to charge us. We didn’t pay and left. Thing is, Sadies was going to be our cafe stop on our club ride next month involving around 20 cyclists. So their penny pinching antics means they’ve lost a couple of hundred quid in revenue.

I asked for a glass of tap water to take some medication. At no point was I informed there was a charge for this and there is no mention of it in the menu. When I went to pay again there was no mention of a charge for tap water. The only reason I questioned the bill is because I was charged more than the previous week for exactly the same order. When asked why I was been charged more than the previous week I was told they are now charging for tap water because it is warmer weather and it is costing them a lot of money. I went back in at a later date to talk to the owner Lindsey, who informed me she has been charging customers for tap water for 7 weeks. As far as I'm aware there is no mention of this charge in the menu under beverages or a notice in the cafe that you will be charged for tap water.

The staff are always so lovely and helpful. Plus the coffee, decaf or normal is wonderful. Food is fantastic for the price and myself and my girls always love coming here!

I've been going for about a year now as a solo pensioner, stopping off for a cuppa and a crumpet while cycling through. Started off ok but recent experience led me to write a negative review. Service has deteriorated - no friendly smiles - cold response from staff and last time I visited my meal was almost thrown on the table with a parting comment 'there y' go'.

I don't usually write reviews but I thought the recent one star view was cruel. One might reduce a rating by one or two stars if an error brought to the proprietors attention was not dealt with, but to reduce a rating by 4 stars for receiving a plastic spoon!!! Really, get a life! I popped in to the cafe on my way to the Crowle Moors Nature Reserve to check closing times and cheekily ask for my water bottle to be topped up! Waitress was very obliging. I popped back later and sat outside overlooking the market square and watching children play in the water fountain. I had 2 cappuccinos both very good and a toasted sandwich which came with crisps, coleslaw and salad plus choice of dressings. Excellent value and helpful staff. To top it off I watched swifts flying overhead and flying into the nearby building to feed young. Of course, nothing less than a five star rating.

Ordered 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in a bowl. Got the ice-cream in a paper tub with a plastic spoon. Presentation unattractive. No excuse for using plastic spoon. Husbands jacket potato looked good but I'm disappointed with my offering.

I popped in for a sandwich to take with me to the hairdressers as I knew my appointment would last until a couple of hours after lunch. I spotted the salads and opted for a goat’s cheese salad. It came in a box with napkins and a fork. The salad itself was generous and delicious. Grapes, red onion and a balsamic dressing accompanied a generous portion of goat’s cheese. Will definitely return. Service was very friendly and they checked twice if I would like my dressing on the side on over the salad. Perfect.

Always a lovely atmosphere in Sadie’s, and the coffee and food was really nice. Sandwich was presented really well with salad and crisps, and was very nice. The cafe is clean and tidy, and all the staff are attentive, cheerful and friendly. Only down side is it is cash only, but there is an atm, 20-30 yards away at the local co-op. Will definitely return 👍.

Sadie’s is right on our doorstep and the perfect place for a catch up over coffee and cake for two besties.Cakes chosen were Carrot cake and Red Velvet with Chocolate Ganache, two cappuccinos. The cakes were heavenly ( esp the RV cake) From the moment we stepped inside we were made very welcome and enjoyed a lovely chat with the ladies working there. If you should ever pass through Crowle or be anywhere near make a beeline for Sadie’s.

Nestled within the small market square I discovered Sadies Tea Rooms. Unfortunately I'd left it a little late for the pre 10.30am bacon buttie ( slightly dissappointing) but I was persuaded by the offer of a toasted tea cake instead. So a toasted teacake and an espresso was ordered. Which was really lovely with a little pot of butter to accompany. Whilst I was there the cafe quickly became busy as ladies from a local Zumba class called in after exercising.... deservedly so I'm sure. Sadie's offers a good selection of savouries, cakes, teas and coffees and is certainly worth a visit

Our cycling club stopped at Sadie's on our way to Scarborough and would highly recommend. They catered for 20 riders providing everyone with breakfast. But the coffee needs a special mention. It gets a 10/10 from me.

The phone number is defunct and the venue is completely shut despite it being in the middle of their published hours. I suspect that it has closed down.

Cinnamon , formerly Jubraj . Party of 8 to celebrate wifes 80th birthday . It was early evening and quiet but food and service excellent. Two of our party asked for dishes not on menu and this was easily sorted. Food tasty and plentiful , everyone agreed best Indian food they had had for ages , this included 4 of our Irish cousins visiting for the birthday . Nothing was too much trouble for head waiter , who was helpful in dish selection and had a good sense of humour . Will be visiting again very soon.
