Saddlers Arms in Ceredigion

Visited this weekend with my friend and had a great time. Karaoke was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. Partying until the early hours we had a blast will definitely be coming back soon

What a hidden gem! Popped in on what turned out to be karaoke night! Had such a fab time, would highly recommend to anyone in the area, warm welcomes and good times, what every pub should be about. Can’t wait for our next visit!

I gave three stars out of five because the beer was good but nothing exceptional, normal service, characteristic place. But you actually make me think. If you contest a rating of three out of five for having done practically nothing incredible other than say hello and serve two beers, and you reply after 5 years, then I lower the value to 2 out of five given that today I also notice the LGBTQ friendly wording on the online description of the place. Take care and watch out for flat feet. Being ironic doesn't always pay

It was very quiet in there and I only had one pint - a PERFECT pint of Directors! Great music on the Jukebox (?) too!

The saddlers arms was the most amazing experience as a first time attender will all the care and support no matter what you do you have everyone clapping you on

Great night at the Karaoke last night. Already arranged to meet my friends there next week!!

We have been given A lovely Welsh welcome from the barman & the locals are very friendly & chatty. Traditional rustic Welsh pub with plenty of beers, ciders & spirits on offer at a reasonable price. Warm & cosy pub, that is inviting with a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend & visit again

Just what a pub should be. Excellent beer. Courage Directors. A friendly atmosphere and amazing Jukebox. Brought back a lot of memories of what a pub used to be. First class staff who clearly knew their customers. Will not be everyones choice but just felt right to me. Took me back to my younger days.

Small friendly traditional pub in the heart of Cardigan with friendly bar staff. If your on your own or with friends and want to chat then this is the place to be.

Old pub which could be so be so much better Very basic inside and could do with a clean And redecoration only place to sit is on benches Thought the Black Lion was rough this comes a close second

Really cosy pub. My partner and I were visiting Cardigan and we wanted to find a small pub full of locals, and this was perfect! Really friendly staff.

The smallest pub in town with a big heart, very welcoming and always helping the community with fundraising and events . Plenty of local characters that will keep you entertained too and jukebox that you can pick your music and you are definitely allowed to dance !

Great watering hole. Lorraine is very friendly and hard working. Cracking karaoke night. Definitely a must if visiting Cardigan!

Little pub in Cardigan high street Locals and staff were friendly

Fantastic experience! Quiet little pub, gets lively when juke box is on. Staff are incredibly friendly, they don't shy away from giving customers a unique, friendly experience. Only pub in the area the staff go out of their way to make their customers happy and have an enjoyable experience. Dog friendly and cheap drinks. Only downside to the pub, is it needs renovating. It seems the building as a whole has been neglected to no fault from the staff there. A good paint job and some thought to spruce the place up is all it needs to bring people in for the summer. It's a small pub, but it has alot of potential. I'd be happy to give my thoughts across if anyone is interested! Looking forward to next visit!

A unique establishment. If you love pubs, you'll love this place. If you hate pubs, you'll hate this place. It's a pub.

Popped in to take cover from the rain, ordered two pints. One of which I had to change as there was a dead wasp in it, which I'm convinced was already in the glass before the drink was poured. as far as pubs go it was very tiny, dark and smelt like wet dog, sugar gnats (bar flies) accompanied by very loud music, stained walls, sticky seating and finger nails left on the floor and side table. The one singular toilet was probably the cleanest room in the building. That being said though,the bar staff were lovely & friendly as were the locals that were in drinking.

Perfect, town centre locatio pub. But what was very noticeable, when we entered, was the strong aroma of urine and a sense of staleness. Definitely a working man's pub. Jukebox music was welcome and created a positive atmosphere. Take it or leave it. Staff were polite and friendly and the beer served was delivered in spotlessly clean glasses and was a solid, decent pint, which was only let down by its environment. Would not want to eat here, but a quick pint is fine. Would not visit again. Thanks for the experience!

Been here a few times time and it doesn't disappoint wonderful staff and Great beer and you get to meet some interesting characters And will be returning next time I'm down Cardigan

Not really a lot of choice for going out in Cardigan on a Friday night but called in as the chalk board said Karaoke, it was ok. However the bar area had a bad smell a cross between nasty toilets and rotten ale. Small gnats flying about, place really needs some serious cleaning. Locals quite rowdy, and not a place to go to for quiet pint.

Locals get their drinks in a glass. Non locals fobbed off with plastic pints :(.

Lovely pub, Great Ale and friendly staff

My brother loved this place and I've been here once or twice over the years and I've never been out for long enough to stay. It's always been another drink on the way back. Tonight I stayed, and the went back there. I confess, in hindsight thise staff are friendly, reliable and trustworthy. I donr give my trust easy yet these ladies earned it tonight. Grats Saddlers. You have Cariads respect. X

Like the bar in Star Wars, great if you're used to the people who frequent there.

8th August 2020. Local council had closed road to allow social distancing. Well done council and allowing disabled access. However the pub had decide to close the Public access off on the public footpath makinh my mun with a walker impossible to walk on the pass and a very rude customer of the pub would not let her pass the cornded off public footpath which she couldn't do as there is no drop kerb breaking all the equality 2020 act. Was also told not to stand in area as van was passing. Marston has no right blocking of the pavement.

It wasn't terrible, but wasn't brilliant. Choices of beers are limited.

Me and my girlfriend friend have been once on our own. It's such a good pub I took my mum and step dad and they loved it in there. Really friendly and cheep deffo worth a few pint with the Duke box on!

Small pub in Main Street - Lured in by the funny quotes on the blackboard outside. A strong smell of toilets greeted us - which should have been an early warning of how clean they were ... Given this was early on a Monday lunchtime, there should have been ample time to have cleaned them - but this clearly hadn’t happened. Small upper bar with a few locals. ‘Functional’ service. Only stayed for the one drink!

Small dark pub but great atmosphere for all. This pub isn't ideal for wheelchair users as there is a load of stairs with no ramp or wheelchair access. Overall, just an average pub.

I loved this pub - from the witty advertisement boards outside offering husband day care services ("leave him with us while you shop") to the house bitter for £2.55 a pint. A traditional alehouse with great music and a good craic. Long may it prosper!

Run down, but old and only small. More of a mans bar. Bar staff nice and helpful

A real lovely pub with really friendly locals it was joy to have a good old knees up, it's pretty rare to get a pint from £2.50 and £1 for five times on the jukebox thank you Sadlers and all the peeps IL be back one day

Tiny bar with not enough seating with a strong odour from the toilets.
