Costa Coffee in Ceredigion

Clean and tidy store, but cakes looked quite unfresh and not a single smile or thank you from any of the staff. Shame really considering this is the last Costa left in town.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Coffee was really nice. Good selection of cakes. Tidy and clean.

The staff working the shift on 17/05/2024 at 15.00 - 15:45 are the most friendly, kind and helpful people I’ve ever met, especially arpeciatdd after a very long journey. Thankyou.

Hardly ever has sandwiches etc now when used to be fully stocked. Toilet on a code which is embarrassing to ask for. Some staff lovely but some a little curt. Tables always need clearing but this is mainly as they don’t have enough staff. Needs better managing and a little more customer service.

Nice staff, COLD HOT CHOCOLATE I even asked for extra hot, wasn't happy. They did offer to change it. They would have made it fresh and thrown the warm one away, that would be wasting it.

The Costa Coffee Cafe in the Next Store at Parc y Llyn, Aberystwyth is a great place to have a coffee and something to eat. 🙂

I visit coffee shop in Aberystwyth quite regularly infact nearly every day the staff are always very helpful chatty an go above there stations especially Harvey,Lucy and Sasha without them I think the store wouldn't run has efficient need more staff like them three hope Harvey comes back but wish all the best in his next step

Before Costa was given a reprieve, it was excellent, with the female manager, who is off sick, not around it seems to have gone downhill massively, the fairly new staff in particular Harvey, Sasha, and Katie are friendly and hardworking making great coffee, and today a young lady named Lucy was on her own doing a good job for someone, who is new to the store, there was no refrigerated food, and only basic drinks 😞 I feel we are going to lose this store if something isn't sorted soon, you need someone to take control there. Another issue the store just closes without a moment's notice, obviously down to staffing issues.

Arrived at peak time. No clean tables and only one barista serving so orders were slow. Lots of tables mot cleared had go clear some to actually sit down. Spoilt the visit to be surrounded by so much mess.

Always enjoy a Costa and the staff have been great.

Perfect...no cheating here...a full cup rather than the often given short measures elsewhere.

So it’s Costa Coffee, so average coffee that tastes a little nicer we because you overpaid for it. The real reason for this mildly snide review is the combination lock on the toilets that screams “we hate people and their biological needs”. There’s a McDonalds over the road with coffee half the price and no pretence, plus a toilet you can use without dehumanising yourself in the process.

Staff shortage first thing. Feel very sorry for the ONE person on duty. People walking away because of the queue. What's going on. Popular area needs sorting out. Used to be very efficient' needs 2 members of staff at breakfast time.

Amazing customer service, the coffee and toastie was delicious. The staff were extremely nice and very welcoming as a person with anxiety i felt very comfortable and happy with my visit, me and my moms visit this costa alot and we enjoy every experience.

Nice hot chock friendly staff. Australian barrister is a star. A nice and clean cafe. Easy parking.

My husband and I popped into the Costa in Next Aberystwyth for a warm drink. We chose to have one of their delicious ham and cheese toasties ( that really doesn’t do them justice, they are covered in bechamel sauce and oozing with yummy ness) Sam and Luke were serving, both were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Sam delivered our drinks and sandwiches and was so pleasant and polite, it was a lovely experience. These two are such a credit to the cafe and company, it’s a shame that everyone can’t be like them. Thank you very much Sam and Luke x

Rude staff member. She seemed to be in charge so not the best example of customer service for the staff. Asked if they were open. One staff member politely said no. This woman however proceeded to speak loudly about how much cleaning she has to do. Wish i hadnt even asked.

Great location, the coffee shop is well set out and it always has customers using it. Costa has great coffee, a good selection of food options. The tables are usually cleared well and in good time, by well trained, friendly staff. The only reason this Costa and the majority of them only gets four stars is because of the lack of toilet facilities, that are normally always unclean and smelly. It let's the place down and also spoils it for when you get a table closer to the toilet facilities, which would never be by choice, only necessity!

In these difficult times, service in the cafe from Samantha and her staff was very welcoming , friendly and efficient . Will definitely be going back .

I went into Costa at 17:00 after being told on the website that its open until 18:00. When we went in I could hear the Guy serving say we are closed. After we were told by two customers and my Son that the man said "we are closed, can't you see the big sign right in front of you" i went back to see if I could see the Guy but to no avail i wanted to give him a mouth full. Completely rude, no customer service skills whatsoever. Avoid this place. Don't deserve the service. The Guy serving was Either Australian or New Zealand.

Constantly being told where to stand by someone who probably should have joined the police force instead of being a barista. No one likes a power trip.

Nice Costas cafe, hidden in a department store that shares the same parking lot with McDonalds. Lots of different sandwiches.

The dirtiest toilets I have ever seen. The sink was black with dirt, a severe build up of grime on the wall tiles and filthy floor surprisingly the actual toilet bowl was clean so it's not customer's who have left the toilets in this state it's a complete lack of any cleaning over a long period of time.

Great place. Plenty of convenient parking as well.

Clean toilets. Great if you want to rest before at after shopping. You can also leave your over half or kids while you shop. Great deals as well

Prepacked Gf chocolate brownie with flat white coffee was made efficiently and served with a smile. Met an old uni friend here as it was easy free to park with toilet facilities at Cafe and open view so not claustrophobic indoors on a warm day. Recommend for snack especially if you have a sweet tooth like me!
