This place is great. Outside seating available and a good selection of cakes. Wine is served in a little carafe and reasonably priced for the location.

This is the place where I relax and do my research for my travels. Sacred Cafe` is on the back of Stanfords (Bookshop) in Covent Garden. I just like the atmosphere in there and the fact that you can read an unpurchased book while you are drinking a nice cup of coffee or tea.

A wonderful little space at the back of Stanfords. Great to browse what you have just bought over a good tasty coffee before heading back out onto busy London streets....

Since the information call out the place is also a roaster, I stop by here with the expectation of some specialty coffee. Not available, so settle with a long black. It turned out better than expectation. Also, the joint is by the bookstore and not as noisy as other cafe in soho area. It a sit-down is needed around the area, this joint is recommended.

Went here based on other review about Green tea. Decor of Camden branch is not great, annexed onto a bookshop with no effort to separate the two. Green tea was weak (pot for two used one tea bag, probably same as that for pot for one). Not bad but nothing special. Prices were quite high. £3 for coffee/ green tea. Not a bad experience but no real reason to return and a few reasons not to.

The sacred cafe is at the back entrance to the excellent Stanfords book shop in Covent Garden. Individual home made cakes and decorative teapots make for a refreshing break when avoiding the chains - especially when you've picked up some decent reading material

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this little cafe tucked into a corner of Stanfords map shop. My coffee was good as was the banana & walnut loaf and the sofa very comfy. Unfortunately my coffee was served in a paper cup which are difficult to recycle as they also contain some plastic. Customers drinking tea got a ceramic cup. I usually carry a re-usable cup but did not have it on this occasion as I was only planning to eat in and expected a ceramic cup or mug. They served my slice of cake on a saucer.

Stumbled across this place purely by chance - lovely place! So small but so cosy. My sandwich was divine, as was the hot chocolate. A right little city hub - phone charging ports and everything. And all at the back of a bookshop! A nice escape from busy London café chains!

This is a small cafe within an iconic map shop (Stanfords). The coffee is much better than average although served in paper cups which I do not appreciate. THe cakes and sandwiches look good but the nicest thing is that it is a small comfortable place where you can relax and read the books you have just purchased.

Lovely, strong, creamy. I'd passed this coffee place the say before and the aromatic coffee smell made me venture back the following day. Not a big serving size compared to other places but definitelt the best! Enjoy

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.
