Order did not come, absolute joke. Refusing to give money back and said driver was stuck in traffic even tho order was never delivered.

both meals where missing yorkshire pudding and both had no gravy. chunks off meat and a couple of roast potatoes, not good enough. plus was freezing cold.

Called into Ruby's for a late lunch. The food was nice, however the prawn cocktail could have done with a bit more Marie rose sauce and they'd ran out of wheaten bread. The main course, husband felt that the 10oz steak was not size described but still tasty. I can't complain about the cock&beef, the champ was delicious. We didn't stay for a dessert. But I would go again. We were the only ones there so it was extremely quiet. Service was good and friendly staff, the wait between courses was ok. You didn't feel rushed to finish and leave, like some other places. Overall I'd say yes I'd recommend Rubys for a nice meal.

2.5 hours wait for the food to be freezing cold. Child’s chicken strips were like rocks accompanied by chunky chips instead of fries! Steak was ruined and overcooked. Main ceaser salad was a starter portion for £11. I have Requested a full refund. Tried calling 15 times to be hung up on each time. Disappointed to say the least. Will not be ordering again. Complete waste of money! if the wait is going to be 2.5 hours at least make sure the food is warm and up to standards!

Delicious & great value for money.

Waited close to 3 hours for my food. Given the option for a part refund to which the restaurant said “no”. Feel a bit more customer service could have been offered here since I ordered at 6.30 and didn’t receive my food until after 9pm. Food was no longer hot when it arrived and I was close to ordering from elsewhere, but sadly wasn’t able to cancel.

Amazing food but very run down. Went with family for Sunday dinner and the food was amazing as it always is, however when we first got to the restaurant we where greeted by a young girl and a kid (maybe 8/9/10 years old). The kid insisted on giving us our menus, she brought us to our table and dropped the menus on the floor (obviously by accident) but was just very off putting that we where being waited on by a child rather than our waitress. When we were brought to the table our seat was completely mangled as you’ll see in the picture below so my partner and I where almost sitting on-top of each other so neither of us had to sit on the damaged part. While we where ordering our food the kid was like lying her chest/belly on our table holding her head up just starring at us while we ordered and it was just so awkward and weird….got our starters brought out, unfortunately 1 was missing but once we told the waitress it was brought out quickly after. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve had something to complain about when it comes to the service in Rubys and I don’t like leaving bad reviews for places however, It’s just a real shame because the food here is so so good. The place just seems really run down and the some staff don’t seem to have a clue what they’re doing 😕

wrong food delivered and items missing, waited for originally ordered items to arrive after contacting restaurant never showed up really poor service first and last time using this place save your time and money.

I had the roast dinner it was lovely well worth the money big portion cocktails were lovely I had a purple rain great value for 7.50 and strong the only thing I didn't like was the pavlova I just didn't like it and didn't think it was worth 6 pound

food arrived piping hot, massive portions and tasted great.turkey and ham and daube of beef are a must try.... unbelievable 👌

Absolute joke waiting on Delivery, order was placed just after 5pm, I rang the restaurant at 6.53pm to ask where my food was considering it said delivered on Just Eat from 6.40pm which I got told it will be leaving the kitchen in 10 minutes. Food didn’t arrive until 7.31pm! Waited over 2 and a half hours!!

I was here one Friday when apparently it was steak night. I had the sirloin steak, cooked medium, at least that’s what you think you get after ordering your steak medium. Well what I got was a well done and very hard to chew piece of meat, that even a dog wouldn’t enjoy. A steak night of horror and definitely not recommended.

Amazing restaurant and cocktail bar situated in dundonald near the hospital! We went on the night of the euros final so the restaurant was perfectly quiet and the staff were very friendly and held great conversations with us. The food was amazing and we were surprised with how nice it was as it was our first time being there. Will definitely be back soon!

Don't be fooled by the location. Access is upstairs and isn't the boozer that's situated below. Arrived when it was really quiet and had a limited menu due to being the 12th July. Regardless, we had a starters, a couple of chicken wings, hot, great taste, wasn't dry, and had great texture with a crunch.. After this, we moved on to the brisket and boy who did not disappoint one bit. Service was great all round, nice level of reassurance.

The food was delivered on time and roasting hot. It was really tasty as all their food I've ordered so far. Definitely now a favourite if not first choice for food now.

My order was over an hour late. I tried to ring the restaurant but couldn’t get through and the just eat app told me my order was delivered twice. I ordered another meal just before my ordered arrived.

The food was lovely but the place is a bit rundown needed painted and new carpet . And mens toilets r run down 2 of the 2 doors didn't have locks on the where missing and toilets needed a good clean,and the was at start of evening around 5 pm so obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while.Also carpark needs a good clean and tidy up it tatty looking weeding and cutting of back of plants and it needs a good sweeping 🧹.But must say the food was lovely. 9/10 for food 4/10 for place.I only visit the place 3 weeks ago in march 2024. Saying all that I would go back.And this was the 3 time I have been there. O and one more thing it's upstairs the restaurant and the lift 🛗 was out of order so that needs fixed ASAP.

Ordered a delivery of ribs wings and frys ribs were small sauce nice wings only 4 very little sauce and chips were sweaty never again

Lovely tasty food and really nice friendly staff. Updating my previous experience, while the food is still very nice I was disappointed with the amount of fat in the centre of my beef which put me off, as well as the gravy being over salty.

I never leave reviews tbh but I ordered a roast beef dinner from here tonight and 2 desserts and it was beautiful. The beef was like butter. Food came piping hot and was early which was brilliant I thought considering I live in Ards and I was starving lol! Worth the money in my opinion! Only thing I wish there had of been more of was gravy but that’s just me being picky lol! Would highly recommend if you’re feeling like a lazy Sunday roast!😍 Perfect start for Easter, thankyou rubys!!😊

The meals arrived very quickly. The food was still hot which was great. Both meals were delicious. I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to order again.

Late late late.. alway late.. stopped using them because of the fact they are always late... not 5 minutes but 1hr/ 2 hrs late... no time management .. food arrives cold.. shame on them.. and their number doesn't work it is for Ruby's the restaurant but the actual food comes from elsewhere... get your act together.. don't use this if u expect food anytime soon!!!

The site is very good. We found it on the way to another place but it was the best we have eaten. The meat was grilled and the pizzas were cooked in a wood-fired oven that smelled spectacular. Super recommended really.

Not great. Just average xmas dinner but small amount of turkey...awful music playing which put us right off. Service was ok just a bit slow...food nit good for the price at all..whoke place needs re furbished. Torn seating and broken bench backs...not a great impression at all.

Fantastic food, great value for money

Actually arrived a little too quick, chips weren't as crunchy as normal but still lovely with the peppercorn sauce. Burger from this place is beautiful and has me coming back time and again. Definitely beats other restaurants that are far more pricey

Got the roast beef dinner and I can honestly say it was the nicest beef ever, literally fell apart. The staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was good.

I ordered for the first time today. I had the sirloin steak, chips, pepper sauce and tobacco onions. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. It could have been a little warmer but I enjoyed it non the less. Will order again.

Ordered the delivery for 7.30, it arrived at 9pm. Disappointing, especially for my 8 year old niece who was starving.

Upstairs in the Hog & Goat. Outstanding food on Sunday. Roasts are phenomenal and super friendly staff. Can't recommend highly enough.

Good grub at a good price, perfect if you need food whilst using the hospital across the road. Do yourself a favour and go here instead of McDonald's if you're ever in the Ulster

The delivery time changed and I ended up waiting 2hours from I ordered it till I got it, the pizza half cut my hands were black after eating a slice as bottem was black 10 bits of pepperoni fired on it and the garlic pizza was more like a plain cheese pizza

I got order from justeat this evening beef cream potatoes carrots and brocli was ment to be roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding which didn't recieve was disappointed in as have got meal before out of rubys and was delicious the meal was delicious no problem there but payed for roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding which was disappointing still would get meal out of here but like all my meal only complaint thankyou Roberta neill.
