I love the fishbowl. It is very entertaining while I wait for my food, The salt and chilli chips and curry is amazing and service was good

Generally reliably good, just a couple of times the Sweet & Sour sauce was either very watery or very little - but usually it's very good.

Never disappointing and fast delivery

Big portions..nice food...bit more expensive but as I say you get more and it's nice

The most appalling char siu chow mein I've had the misfortune to be presented. Burnt pork which they denied, giving the noodles a burnt taste also. Noodles dry with about 0.001% vegatables.

Never had a bad carry out, we never use any other Chinese.

I was quoted £27.00 (£24.00 for food & £3.00 delivery) for 1 main meal at £9.00, 1 childs meal at £5.80 and 1 special dish at £7.90. When I queried the price my order was cancelled. I know cost of living is high everywhere but Master Chef is expensive.

Food was every bit as good as always. But. Portion size has shrunk MASSIVELY in the last month. Down by 30-40% ish.... Shrinkflation strikes again.

Got a special curry and fried rice very tasty. Prawn crackers, the portion was tiny.

Food awful. Blackbean had a thick gloomy sauce and didnt taste of anything. Soft noodles lacked any flavour at all. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

First visit. Order was wrong as I had paid extra for cashews with my salted chilli chicken but didn't get any. Spent the meal picking chilli flakes off chicken as it was absolutely covered in them. Really nice noodles. Rice was closer to boiled than fried. Disappointing.

Prices might have gone up a bit recently, but, for 30 odd quid you can still easily fill four greedy fat *bleeps* whose eyes are bigger than their bellies. The lady taking orders was a wee bundle of joy too and we had a a bit of chin wag while waiting. Had smoked honey chilli chicken, sweet n sour canto style chicken, chips, rice and udon noodles along with mini spring rolls. We just about finished it between four and are all rolling about the sofa like wee pigs while I write this.

Wrong food delivered , the girl I talked to had no clue of how to resolve the issue so I decided to eat what came . It was tasteless. Probably the worse Chinese food I have ever tasted. AVOID

Good standard chinese fayre. Not too expensive. Quick service normally. Vegetable noodles are my favorite from here.

The food is so great, the various dishes I've had were all top class, never had an issue and they are so quick with delivery, would highly recommend 🙂

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is lovely and always piping hot which to me is a very good thing, makes me want to return.

I found 2 flies on my rice and around 6 bugs on the rice aswell I was disgusted I tried to call them but they won't pick up. Very disappointed since I've ordering at this place for years.

Well just ordered from master chef for the first time, as we got a leaflet through the door this week. So thought we'd try it out. I ordered the pizza box and a kids chicken balls with chips and gravy. Food was absolutely delicious, the pizza box was filled to the top and still eating it as I type this review lol. The counter staff was amazing and very helpful, friendly and it looks a very busy wee Chinese. P. S. Its cash only no cards but garage next door has a cash machine but it was out off order. 5 stars to the chef's

Just had the chicken fried rice first one in years as live in Newcastle upon Tyne beautiful very tasty.deliver driver was canny young girl on the desk was very pleasant.

Got gravy half n half. Had to get it reordered due to rice being hard. Lovely receptionist asked them to do reorder with fresh rice. They didnt fix the issue, Had to bin it.

Never had a bad meal from here!

Just got a delivery from master chef, we have only started getting from here so this would be about our 5th time. I don’t do post but I really have to give feedback to this Chinese, their food is beautiful very tasty and well cooked. My husband is a real plain eater but just loves their curry’s we haven’t had a bad meal yet. Also i have to give the girl on the phone a mention she is always polite and will help if there is something extra you would like added to a certain dish. Each person has their own taste but if you like you food cooked well and not swimming in oil I highly recommend master chef.

Before covid this was my regular . Always tasty great value and gave u far to much. This was my first time ordering since restrictions. Meals were as usual far to much but disgusting my crispy chicken was raw .meals went straight in bin.

Recently discovered this takeaway wgen a flyer came through the door - have tried a few menu choices but always come back to the pizza box for amazing variety. Food great, staff lovely, lose a star as they've no card machine AND not on any delivery websites so if you've no cash to hand, you can't use them :(

My food is on the way and its 1 hour late and I phoned up to the chinease and I couldn't even finish my sentence to find out where my food is and the woman talked right over me and I couldn't even tell her the address or the order I made. Phoned in and she took over my talking completely. How rudeeeee!!!!!

First and last time ordering from here. Food was absolutely disgusting. Chow mein had no taste at all, worst I've ever had. Also salted chilli chicken was rubbery. Threw it in the bin !!

Lovely curries hot and minus the normal chemicals. New menu great.

Found a dead cooked bug of some kind in my fried rice!

Got a delivery the other night, phone service was awful to start with, then a hour passed and I rang up to see what was happening only to be told it was on its way and the driver left 10 minutes ago. We live 15 minutes away from the Chinese. Another 20 minutes past and the food finally arrived. The food was not very warm and to top of the night what should have been a gravy half and half had both curry and gravy on it. Seems to be a case of putting curry on by accident then covering it up with the gravy and sending it out anyways. Have used this Chinese for years and always recommended it to friends and family. Won't be doing that anymore, will just be going elsewhere from now on.

Normally love this place. Ordered for collection on Saturday. Arrived and gave my name. 40 mins later people who were in after me were all gone and the woman behind the counter ( who was more interested in smoking and talking to people she knew than doing her job) finally went to look for my order. It was lost and no food was even being prepared. She blamed the kitchen despite being the woman who took my order on the phone. I told them to forget it and left empty handed. Won't be back

Wouldnt even give it a one star Got the chicken omelette arrived looking lovely yo notice half way through that there was a dead bee inside it!!!!! Phoned to tell them and the chefs reply was what me to do or sorry... Stay clear...

Food isn’t bad but service is a shambles. Ordered a delivery told it be 40 mins after 1 hr phoned back took another 30 mins to get delivery chips soggy the rice was cold as well as the salted chilli. Nothing worse than liars just admit if busy or going to take an hr and a half. I would have went elsewhere

My husband bought 2 meals tonight from this Chinese it was very disappointing . One meal the sea food special was not special at containing mostly crab sticks and 2 mussels and NO prawns. When we got home and put it out we released there was a lack of seafood My husband phoned the Chinese and told the girl on phone who told the chef who said he did. put prawns in it..... They must have Swam away!!!!

Complete disaster...have been using this takeaway for 6 years....lost our order....no apology....no excuse ....customer service non existent. Will not be using them ever again...select another Chinese. Service a disaster. wouldn't even give a star!

Food was ok but service very slow, inefficient. We waited over an hour for telephone order, other orders placed after ours served before us. Lady taking orders unfriendly & aggressive, probably because it was busy ...employ more staff.

Food just ok. Very poor English from the staff. Had to wait quite a while even though we ordered ahead. No card machine and no website.

Awful. Took over 2 hours to arrive and delivery driver had a bad attitude. Food was sent back. Would give zero stars if I could. Would not recommend.
