Best food I have had in long time

We ate here on the 3rd January 2024. There was two waitresses, both were very friendly, smart appearance, well mannered and helpful. The food was fabulous, we were very impressed. The presentation and taste was excellent. The restaurant eating area was very nice. The stairs and bathroom is a quite tired looking which is a shame as you see the stairs first. This restaurant is a Jewel in Enniskillen's Crown and we shall definitely be back.

Had a meal here on Friday night with my wife. Starter for two was a bit crispy 😧, actual meal. Absolutely disgusting, my beef and her chicken. Was like processed meat left in baking powder too long, slimy and chewy. Will never set foot in it again.

Nice food and tasty, salt chilli chips double cooked so alot of oil soaked up, also same with chicken balls and spring rolls , staff are young and not very interacting or friendly, no eye contact or smiles etc, I think alittle tidy up of the front of house, carpet on stairs, toilets , wiping down of dessert menus....would help alot as its abit untidy and unpleasant.

We enjoyed Thai green prawn curry and vegetable satay with boiled rice. With a drink each it was very affordable. The menu in the restaurant doesn't feature everything on the take away menu which is a shame. We were told you can order everything upstairs but it would help to see all the dishes. Regardless we both enjoyed a delicious meal. Thankyou!

The food was pretty tasteless, I ordered the Duck and felt it probably wasn't all fresh, afterwards I wished I had sent it back. Husband had lemon chicken which was OK. Noodles were nice. Won't go again though. Very disappointing after the reviews on here.

Lovely Chinese top quality and portions plentiful

My wife and I visited over the summer and were blown away with the food. She still talks about it to this day. Absolutely worth a try.

If you pay attention you will see the abject and chronic terror of the workers, especially when the 'manager' is around. They hire young people who they bully, terrorise and create a hostile and toxic work environment, less concerned with training staff, than ruling over them with total fear tactics.

Set in the middle of the town, we got a table without a booking on a Sunday just after opening time. Staff were friendly, the food was hot and tasted good. It was great for a quick bite to eat.

Got charged £10 delivery fee for a 3 Mile journey, was told the price on the call and when it arrived it was another £10. when I rang to ask why it was so expensive they told me the deliveries are done by a local taxi firm and they have no control over the price of delivery. Absolute disaster! Guess your order price with this place!

I ordered chicken chow mein which came out with all dry thin noodles and rubbery chicken. Barely any chicken, vegetables or sauce. Had better take outs. Also meals came out at different times and even sides and was cold by time everything arrived. Was really disappointed with service.However, did get £5 off my meal when I complained, but I did have to ask for this.

Proper dross. Pad Thai was dry as sticks and tasted like cardboard, the "honey chilli chicken stir fry with extra veg" arrived as sweet and sour chicken with one slice of chilli in it and zero veg apart from a few onions, food was £13 and delivery was £12, absolutely pathetic

Straps of bag with takeaway snapped and whole lot splashed on the floor. Staff unphased, replaced the whole lot. Food great, but service better still.

Been going here for years and have never been disappointed, food is always really tasty and great size portions, you definitely won’t leave hungry. Service can sometimes be a little slow but it’s worth the wait.

I normally get take away from a establishment across the road from Ruby Palace (which is Excellent) but it was closed so I thought I'd give this place a try.... Well let's just say I wont be back..... the salt in all of our dishes!!! It was disgusting and also very greasy, I really dont know how anyone could think this is good food. Sorry for the bad review but in this day and age when your paying hard earned money it needs to be better.

Collected a delivery tonight but got home to find they'd forgotten to pack some of the order. Rang to ask for the rest to be delivered and was told I would have to pay for the delivery charge, even though it was their mistake not mine. I didn't fancy the drive back so didn't bother to collect the rest. The sauce sent with the spring rolls did not taste nice. 3 stars for the sweet and sour and honey chilli chicken being nice.

Treatment of staff is absolutely disgusting, downgrading them at every chance they can. Make you work all week then dump you. USERS and then they blame the staff for their actions. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN WORK HERE.

Diabolical.... I paid 21.80 including 8 pounds delivery. Recieved crap chips that had been left in the bottom of the fryer and noodles all broken basically the scraps of the bottom of the box b4 they are even cooked!?!? Why even bother?! I rang back and explained my issues and was passed to the chef but during that time the receptionist/manageress failed to mute the conversation.... stating I was rude and then the chef refused to speak to me to fix the issues!!! Best Chinese I have ever had! Service was amazing, friendly staff, great menu and well priced.

I have sampled quite a few Chinese restaurants and The Ruby Palace is right at the top of list. The food was tasty, hot, well presented with generous portion sizes. Must if you are visiting Enniskillen.

Called down to Ruby's palace when I was staying at Lusty Beg island. Great meal and service was impeccable. some of the group had food made that wasn't on the menu and nothing was a problem.

Our visit to ruby palace was very frustrating and disappointing. We go every time we visit enniskillen and have always found the service to be a bit slow but it was so bad last night that we’ll definitely not be back. In the end we waited an hour and a half for our food as we watched bags and bags of takeaway orders leave the kitchen. If you’re going to offer a sit-in service tables need to be given equal priority to carry out and not just forgotten about as we were not the only people sitting for a long time without food. When we threatened to leave the food arrived straight away! Our starter arrived with our mains (starter portions are tiny, £6 for 3 dry ribs!) and without apology for our wait. Nothing was deducted from our bill that came to over £90 for 5 people! Other family members phoned an order for collection at the same time and got their food straight away! All in all, most of our food was nice when it finally arrived but the service throughout was absolutely terrible. I feel sorry for the waitresses who are forced to bear the brunt of the complaints when it’s the kitchen who have chosen to prioritise takeaway. With no apology and no attempt to compensate us in any way we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will not be back!

Awful slow and the service was poor tho I don’t blame the waitresses as they were told to prioritise the takeaway over the restaurant. We tried to complain when we were paying for our meal and the Chinese waiter was REALLY !!!!!!!! rude to us. The poor lady at the till was mortified. Very disappointed

Don't judge this place by what it looks like from the outside. Once in there is plenty of room with an upstairs seating area. We booked given how busy everywhere is with the "Eat out to help out" scheme. For a family of four with starters and a main with drinks the bill was £50. The food was good quality and plenty of it. The staff were clearly still coming to terms with Covid Secure dinning and having to wear masks which made the service a little difficult however overall worth a visit.

We opted for the banquet for two, Although the starters was a little dry and service was a touch slow, the main course was delicious - extremely filling, with really large portions and extremely tasty. There was so much food that there was enough left over to fill two take out boxes! Really good value and we will be back!

We booked 9 of a family into Ruby Palace. It is the nicest chinese we've all eaten in a long time. The food was fantastic and large portions. Our waitress was brilliant, nothing was a problem she was very nice and chatty. Would definitely come back here if we are in Enniskillen again.

Went here on a Tues evening and had an excellent. We both had the 1/4 Duck starter and it was a good choice. For main my wife had the honey chilli chicken whilst I had the sizzling chicken i a black bean sauce. Very good meals and well wort the money - good service too.

We ordered a take away from here for a group of 12 of us. The food was very good quality and came in good size portions. We spent just over £100 and all ate so much and still had about half left. Very nice food and good value for money

Visiting Enniskillen for a few days and visited Ruby Palace. Food is absolutely amazing, so amazing in fact that we had to visit twice! The taster menu is fantastic but be warned the portions are huge. Staff are excellent and so helpful, this is a must visit, you won't be disappointed.

We went out as a family for a midweek dinner having had takeaway before which was lovely . Kids food was freezing cold and both didn’t eat. The ribs were dry and lacking sauce. It took over hour for our mains to arrive and at this stage we were fed up. Nothing done or no real apology just “sorry we got very busy”. Won’t be returning.

We have dined in Ruby Palace before lockdown and were delighted to be able to return when covid19 lockdown restrictions were being lifted. The food is as good as always, but what differed was the reassurance of our safety with the staff precautions in place. The same generous portions and the same great taste with added assurance for your safety/health. 100% recommended.

Excellent service very friendly staff

Ordered takeaway food on New Year’s Eve given that one of us is vegetarian and they are supposedly vegetarian friendly. Unfortunately the vegetable curry that was ordered was sent out as a chicken curry and two of the items ordered were charged for but not included in the bag. More care needs to be taken to ensure you get what you order. The money is to be refunded but dinner for four ended up being partial dinner for 3 thanks to their carelessness!

Don't bother, owner said on phone best in town, very foolish man. Food was terrible compared to other establishments. Will never return.

Called again for carryout when staying in Enniskillen recently. Like last time, food was perfect, plenty in portions & staff pleasant. Will definitely be back next time staying in Enniskillen. Thanks Ruby Palace !

Chicken fried rice is best in the town. Plus many friendly staff one in particular oran gave us great service and good recommendations from the menu! Defo will be back

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere.

Four of the six items on the “vegetarian” menu had mollusc. One had milk and the other contained fish. I asked what they could prepare that might be vegan and was told that to be honest I should go elsewhere. Lol.

This is one of the best ones I've went to. Food was great, price was honestly reasonable and at the end of the day everybody was happy. Definitely recommend this place but it is a little bit disorganized

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Went in at 6.30. Ordered by 6.45. Starter came 7.30. Waited until 8 for mains and food not even cooked. They prioritised take away above sit in customers. 2 young kids with us and had to leave to get them home to bed. They didn’t even come back to check if we wanted more drinks.

Went on a Saturday during August Bank holiday. The menu is extensive and all sounds good. We skipped starters and WOW we are glad we did. The main course portions are very generous. The honey chilli chicken and salt & chilli chicken were both amazing. Would highly recommend a visit.

Visited Restaurant with family on a mid week evening and were met by lovely Staff who showed us to a window seat.Restaurant has had a recent makeover with beautiful furniture, and striking wall and cabinet designs. Excellent Menu choices handed out and drinks order taken very efficiently. We ordered Chicken Skewers with Peanut Sauce, Duck Spring Roll and popadom for Starter followed by Sweet and Sour Chicken Ball, Chicken Chow Main and Shredded Chicken with Sweet Chilli. We also ordered Sweet Chilli and Onion flavoured Chips.The quality of Food, Presentation and taste experience were absolutely superb. It was a fantastic Chinese meal which rates as one of the best we have had for a long time. Servings were huge and all freshly cooked.With Parking outside the door available at that time of the evening this was a memorable Meal. Thank you to all the lovely Staff for making our night out so very good.

The only word spoken by waiting staff to us was "no" when asked if we could sit at a different table to the one we were shown even though the restaurant was totally empty. If you are looking to sit in silence with no background music whilst zombie like staff bring you food then this is the place to go.

We visited the Ruby Palace whilst on holiday in Enniskillen, we had a fantastic meal. Staff were really friendly and let us know about specials etc. Me and my wife had the banquet meal for two, this was abosoulty gorgeous. Well worth the money, plenty of food and variety. All the food was lovely (5 in all had food). Highly recommended a visit.

Awful place....Do Not Go!!! 2 adults 2 Children eat in. 3 meals came together then a 10 minute delay for the youngest in our party. No apology offered for the mix up. Paid £13.00 for Chicken curry (menu said £10.50) only to find that when you eat in you pay more for chips/rice. The takeout menu for the same thing is £6.50 with chips. 100% more to eat in. Only we are from out of town we didnt know in advance.

Wife and I called in here Mon 8th July 2019.Both had the special deal where we got 4 starters,3 mains and a side each for £16.50 each.Excellent value and food was first rate.Both of us were well stuffed and would return without hesitation.Recommended.👍

The best Chinese restaurant by far although it may be slightly dearer you certainly get a far better quality and service. We sat in and had meal and it was delicious and fast there was no waiting about for meals

Wrong order and long wait for it to be changed. Poor customer service dealing with complaints from me and other callers. Got home one dish was stone cold and the other was a half hearted attempt to cook a simple noodle dish. Threw in bin and made sandwiches!

Spent £38 on a takeaway on Sunday night, most of the food was alright but the duck with plum sauce was inedible. The sauce was so salty I don't understand how the chef didn't notice, it was poisonous. The chips were mainly made up of bad bits. I did ring on Sunday night to tell them and the counter staff spoke to the manager who was too busy to come to the phone. I left my details but have heard nothing from them. I will vote with my feet and not return, it's that simple.

So disappointed, however, I need to say the staff are friendly. It was shocking to open the menu to find food in. We booked a table which really was not needed as it was quiet. There was food on the floor and some liquid had been spilt on the seat and not dried. The food was disappointing. The house curry did have a little flavour and bland enough for the person who ordered it. The Thai Curry was totally flavourless and I do mean there was no taste and it supposed to be hot! Portions were good. Seriously disappointed in everything. Needs a good clean and get some flavour into the food please
