Fantastic evening in wonderful surroundings. Service was excellent, all drinks and food came very promptly and the waiting staff ensured we were well looked after. We had a party of ten and nothing was too much trouble. Food was superb, I had Squid to start and Tagliatelle for my main course. All perfectly cooked, served in good time and value for money too. Our party was booked for 6pm and we ended up staying till 11pm, enjoying more drinks and relaxing in a great atmosphere. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. This was my first visit but will definitely be back again. Thank you!

Been regular visitors to this place and has recently I'm sorry to say disappointed,don't get me wrong service is always very good but quality of food has slipped,too often coming out on cold plates and very al dente vegetables(inedible for my taste) and cold,inconsistent chef/chefs depending on day,too many promotional ideas eg children's party's and prosecco lunches,too gimicky for a local village italian restaurant ,not now open on sundays either,not a good sign,just wish would go back to fresh hot homemade food and romantic Italian restaurant vibe

Had such a lovely meal at Roy’s, the food was insane, the staff looked after us making sure everything ran smoothly. Would recommend and will definitely be back soon.

Our first time trying a sunday roast at Roys and I can confidently say this is the best spot for a roast dinner in Hertfordshire. I opted for the beef option and asked for it well done which they assured me would be no problem. It came with roast potatoes, a yorkshire pudding, broccoli and carrot puree (in my opinion the best part). We also opted for the Ribeye which was cooked to perfection. Luckily we left room for dessert and had the pannacotta which was heavenly. Also received great service from our waitresses, Adrianna and Arianne, who we have gotten to know during our visits to Roys. The best restaurant in Welwyn!

Lovely food, lovely staff. A great way to spend time with family or even on your own. Highly recommend the lamb cutlets and their signature biscoff cheesecake!

Great service, delicious starters and a really yummy steak for main. We had a great night. It was well worth a visit. We will be back.

This restaurant is my go to for all occasions. Even though I have to drive 45mins to get there. The staff, atmosphere and food are excellent. The head chef is incredibly talented; today I had the best risotto I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back again!

Went for a family meal for Mother’s Day, excellent service, lovely atmosphere and most important of all the food was delicious, with a really wide-ranging choice. Staff were also very helpful in finding a time-slot for us. Thank you Roy’s!

I went to1 Roys restaurant with a family party of 16 including 6 little ones. The food was pre ordered by email which was seemless (including several amendments on my part) The whole event was lovely with excellent food (large portions) and great service. Thank you Roy's

This was not the first time that I visited this restaurant. Yet again it did not disappoint and will definitely be returning. This has now become my go to restaurant as it’s just perfect for meeting up with friends and also meeting up with family. The food is absolutely faultless and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. I overheard another guest comment to the head chef that Pru Leith would be proud , ( I understand that this is where he trained). I have to confirm that this is true ! In summary, I would say go , give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Roy’s for a lovely time as always .

I have frequently visited this restaurant and today met up with friends after some time. Their first impression was a really nice place which looked like it should be in the west end of London. Very good on the eye. They said that the menu offered a good selection of food and when their order arrived said that it looked very good and pipping hot. Upon completion they said it was one of the best restaurants they had been in and would definitely come back again

A great addition to Welwyn Village. Girly night out on a very busy Saturday evening. Food and service impeccable. Lovely selection of wines and house wines. Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

This outstanding restaurant is on the high street of Welwyn village with free parking close by Welwyn is minutes from Welwyn Harden City Stevenage and even Hatfield. We had an excellent delicious lunch there set lunch, great tasty delicious food. The staff were helpful and friendly, this is the place to eat.

Went to Roy’s for the first time tonight. The food was delicious (all three courses). Cannot recommend enough. Another visit will not be too far away
