I visit this restaurant on every other weekend and I have to say I am really impressed with the taste of the food as well as the near, tidy and clean restaurant. The restaurant has an excellent variety and the customer service is really friendly and comforting.

I had an outstanding dining experience at Royal Shinwari. The lamb karahi was perfectly seasoned and tender, bursting with rich flavors in every bite. The ribs were equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a smoky, succulent taste that melted in my mouth. To top it all off, the Kabuli pulao was a delightful complement—fragrant, fluffy, and loaded with deliciousness. The combination of these dishes created an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to indulge in some top-notch cuisine! I tried their qahwa as well which was refreshing.

Everything was perfect, food was tasty, Service was quick. staff was good, friendly and well mannered. The Manager Irshad and other staff is good. I have tried ribs and kabali pulao, lamb karahi, which was so delicious and specially the naan ♥️. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Staff 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 I was here for the first time i came from Glasgow scotland. Kindly do visit.

Their charsi lamb karahi is one of the best in Uk. Mix grill is dry (only lamb chops are worth). Their ambience is average. Staff is friendly

Quantity, quality and taste was great but was it authentic? Its debatable. There shouldn’t be any tomato in namkeen Karahi and no masala on namkeen tikka, but taste was good so no complain.

Authentic Afhani food .. better than rest of shinwari's resturant in Birmingham (for quality of food) .. no parking spaces.

One the most authentic Karahis in Birmingham. People claim to be Karahi specialists but you need to try this one for sure. Order the Charsi Tikka and Charsi Karahi. You will not be disappointed. Book beforehand to avoid waiting. I will be back for more. Great food, even better customer service.

Went there for iftari, they had a nice complementary iftari snacks to break the fast with ready for us. Food was delicious especially the chicken black.pepper karahi but the service was a bit slow. Update Since my last review 1 year ago they have started charging for water unless you ask for tap water and for salad. Was not impressed that they did the same they charged for water for iftari . Salad i can understand but water, a big no no!!!!! The food was not up to the usual stardard too

I travelled all the way from London to try Royal shinwari, kabul darbar and taste of khyber. I was surprised to see how fantastic was Royal shinwari by far. Amazing service and if you want to eat real pakhtoon pakistani food, it's wow. I have tried most of the restaurants in london, Manchester and Birmingham but the best of the lot by far is Royal shinwari. Usually 1,2 items are good but I tried chicken reshmi kabab, chapli, lamb and afghani tikka and lamb karahi. Every item was superb. Unfortunately they didn't have patta tikka at that time but I will travel again to eat their food soon.

Went there last night for Aftar. Food was really really delicious and the customer service too. I was bit disappointed with the food serving time because our food was late for aftar but i can understand how busy it was and we were still served. Will definately go there again.

One of the best places I have ever been.The food is on point.The staff is very friendly and the taste is wordless. If you're looking for fresh and crisp food , this is the place you need to be. Poor Quality food , I visited today and went there specially from Solihull and ordered food for pick up , after reaching home found Burnt Roghni naan which were not rogni noon , they were cooked without sesame , Charsi lamb karahi was poor quality black hard meat and full of green chilllies and no body liked it , Kabli pulao was also lower than average and overall Zero value against money and time .

Visited our friends in Birmingham and had dinner at Royal shineari. It's really amazing specially their Lamb Tikka, Chapli kabab was so good I love that. And their special Lamb kadari was awesome. I really love it. I definitely will go back when I go to Birmingham. Highly recommend five star
