Such a great bunch of guys running this place. Great beer and good craic. What’s not to like.

Quirky pub where you buy a credit card for any amount and pour your beer from a number of choices and how much you want.

Small self service bar in the Custard Factory area. Eight beers on tap. You tell the bar staff what you require, they sort a card out which you place in the slot of the required beer, then pay by card, get your glass and pour. Tells you on the screen when you get to the pint level, amazing. Descent tables and chairs, toilet available. Wooden floors throughout. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. They will help you pour your beer if having difficulty. A little expensive but a pleasant experience. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.

Staff were lovely! Drinks were even better! Atmosphere was top notch. Good place if you like beer. Great place if you also like a fully stocked bar. Great location. Some pretty good offers too.

Such an underrated place, lovely spot to chill out & have quality pints away from the Digbeth clubbing scene while still having a social and inclusive vibe . Great concept to have money loaded on to a card and you can get as much beer as you want ! So you're not bounded to getting 'pints' you can even have 0.2 of each beer if you so wish . Lovely idea , quality craft local beers, friendly bar staff and a whole same vibe . 5/5 every time I bring someone here, they love it

Love this idea. My husband wasn't so good at pouring his own pint so the barman helped him. I enjoyed pouring a good pint.

Stumbled upon this awesome spot whilst in Birmingham for a weekend. The lady working was super welcoming, we had a great chat. Absolutely recommend for the selection of drinks, and the atmosphere!

I’ve been coming Autobrew since it opened, and it’s hands down my favourite bar!! The concept is great with great drink choices. The bar itself is lovely, I always feel very welcome and relaxed when I go. Heated outside seating is great too. The staff are lovely and always at hand to help or recommend cocktails. A great range of board games too. Would really recommend Autobrew to anyone who likes good drinks, good atmosphere and good vibes!! (Samosas are 10/10 as well).

If you pour a drink that's all head you've no one to blame but yourself. Great to see beers from so many local breweries on tap

The staff were friendly and the cocktails were sooo tasty. I think it might have been the best cocktail we had in a long time. Apple crumble and kinder Bueno cocktaila highly recommend!

Good experience pouring your own beer, takes a bit of practise

Nice concept and a busy bar with the quirk being you pour your own pint. When you arrive you need to charge up a card and the use this to dispense the quantity of your favourite drink. Takes a couple of pulls to work out how to pour a pint without it being 60% head but when you get the hang of it, it is all much the same as a normal bar. Staff were really friendly and helpful and allowed you try a couple before committing to your own cost. Really liked the place….but not sure if the gimmick of pouring your own pint will keep people returning. There is no real cost saving over normal pub prices and it can take a little longer to get a drink when waiting for the froth to die down on each drink 😀

He made this citrus Juicy drink that was phenomenal and an absolutely amazing. The staff are a legends, Lee is awesome and he mentioned that the rest of the team are great he also had a great chat with us and recommended some awesomeness! Come here if you want to have an excellent vibe!

Great bailey coffee and staff were very friendly. If only the TV and music could be tuned down slightly it'd have been perfect experience. But it's still very enjoyable and strongly recommended

Great afternoon watching World Cup football. Amazing selection of beer and cans. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Board games available for those interested. Cafe style atmosphere makes it popular with all types of patrons. My wife loves visiting this bar when we are in town 🥂

Great concept, really easy to use the self-service draught pumps, always great choice of beers and ciders on draught and in the fridge. Always gluten free options. Coffee machine, snacks and sandwiches too. Small but great atmosphere and always a good playlist

Great little bar tucked away near Doctor Oculus and Strand and Lock. Cool concept with the top up card and serve yourself beers, and the lovely staff also make cracking cocktails! Definitely drop in if you're in Digbeth!

Interesting range of drinks on tap, well stocked fridge for cans and bottles and a robust, if deadly, menu of cocktails! Friendly staff and a great spot for pictures if you're that way inclined.

Sean, the owner, is a really nice guy. The auto brew has a lot to offer. You can try a huge variety of pints and pour them yourself! The coffee is also self-serve and delicious !

I was a little bit sceptical at first, I mean a self-serving bar is always going to be a little bit intimidating for those amongst us who can barely pour a can of pop into a glass. However having spoken to the lovely staff on hand I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the music, the vibe, the art the people, the dogs. With pubs closing left right and centre this is exactly what digbeth needs . Me and the missus will definitely be returning! Ohh beer choice is ace! But also some lovely cocktails on sale as well.

Gem of a place! I was having a super bad day & just stumbled across it, I went in for a coffee but I can't wait to go back for a cocktail when I'm in a better mood. The staff are so lovely, they have board games, the coffee is great, indoor & outdoor seating, self service, clean & tidy...literally a little gem in the corner of the custard factory.

Leeva was an amazing barman to us on the night. He couldn’t do enough for us, and helped me out when I kept pouring “pints” that were 90% head. The bar itself is a nice concept. You get a top-up card that you use at the self serve taps - and it actually worked out to be good value. All the beers I had were really nice and from local breweries (Attic, Digbrew etc). There are a number of board games to play as well if you fancy. Proper chill place for a meet up with mates

The perfect place to spend the afternoon and quench your thirst, feels like an oasis of calm in a hot desert of chaos in this heat.

I work in the custard factory and this is my go-to for after work bevvies. Truly a great selection of cans in the fridge, lovely chilled vibe and the owner is always so lovely and welcoming.

Serve yourself is a great idea. But besides this the beers on offer are local and really good. There's coffee too. A snack cafe and hard liqueurs (not sell serve). A little gem tucked away in the corner of Gibb Street courtyard.

Fantastic bar tucked away on Gibb St. The self-serve concept gives you the perfect chance to try the array of different beers on top and the friendly staff are more than happy to point you in the right direction. Cut glass for the spirits is a touch of class.

Interesting idea to allow customers to pour their own beers, and it's great fun to try it with a group of friends! Good vibe and staff very keen to help. The only suggestion would be to increase the beer offer, apart from that it was a great experience!

Good concept. Put some funds on a prepaid card, serve yourself and pay by the pour. So if you wanted to try a small glass of 3 beers instead of one pint, you can. Only 5 taps but your top up card is valid whenever you go back. Fridge of local craft beer, soft drinks and they do coffee. Small venue tucked in the corner and very close to Z roberto's which does some super rare beers, so this place is cool for a few local draft beers before moving on to other locations. Chance and counters also do some good craft, all within 90 yards of each other. Try them all.

Really enjoy AutoBrew & how multi functional the space is. Ideal for a drink with a friend, a working lunch or even a date. There’s a wide array of canned beers as well soft drinks & coffees. They stock Irn Bru which is always a massive yes in my book. AutoBrew also allows you to pour your own pints by way of topping up a card. Staff are lovely & welcoming & there’s talk of sandwiches alongside the current array of sweet things.

Brilliant bar in ideal location of digbeth/ custard factory. The idea of pouring your own drink is so exciting and such a cool idea! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Great choice of drinks. Great music! Overall very happy customers and shall definitely be returning.

Brilliant new addition to the Digbeth scene and a must-visit for locals and travellers alike. The process of getting a card and pouring your pints is very simple and easy. The selection of drinks of tap are fantastic (and rotate!), with the owner clearly showing a huge support to local and indepedant breweries/suppliers. The venue itself is small but cosy, clean and very comfortable.

Really welcome addition to Digbeth, Great Staff and a Brilliant Idea. Love popping in here for a pint.
