Lovely Sunday buffet and it's very consistent. Such a wide variety of food, quick service and piping hot. Love it here. Lots of regulars. If you've not been you don't know what your missing!! You can add, change and spice it up. Nothings to much trouble.

Brilliant Chinese Sunday buffet as per usual. Was nice to see the friendly staff again and regulars who were there. We couldn't wait for it to re-open after the accident. Everything is piping hot 🔥 and served very quickly. You are looked after as soon as you walk through the door. You can order as much or as little as you like and in what order you like, whether it is starters or mains. Family occasions are well catered for and we have had many. Absolutely 💯 % delicious.

Never had a bad meal/takeaway from here. Excellent food!

We booked a table for 10 for the Sunday buffet, on arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and ordered drinks, the menu for the buffet is fabulous and superb value for money and you won’t go home feeling hungry guaranteed! So much choice and as you order they bring it out quite quickly, the starters were amazing, I had salt and pepper chicken wings, bbq spare ribs and spring rolls, the quality of food is superb, piping hot and delicious, for mains I had sweet and sour chicken and Cantonese beef, with sides of rice and noodles, again the quality of the food was superb and arrived fairly quickly and hot, I can honestly say this is the best Chinese buffet I have been to for quality and choice, even had room for ice cream… if you looking for a lovely meal with quality and quantity with a lovely friendly host. Then look no further than here, 100% recommended

"ROYAL PHEONIX CHINESE RESTAURANT".. Well, this Chinese Restaurant has been hit for a third time by an out of control car.. At great expense the owner is having to repair the building hit by an out of control car.. Obviously, the owner is rightly concerned that a person / persons could / will be injured by yet another out of control car hitting the property.. Local Council / Police need to take the relative necessary action to stop out of control cars from hitting the property.. It is evident that the pedestrian railings to protect pedestrians are severely inadequate.. Proper metal / concrete bollards need to be placed as to stop out of control cars.. The road opposite this establishment is named as Moscow Mill Street, very unusual.. According to locals eating out the food here is highly recommended.. 🙂🙂🙂 "ROYAL PHEONIX CHINESE RESTAURANT"..

Delivery was an hour late. Took 2 hours when it was supposed to take 45 mins but it was some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had so was worth the wait

Great food again second time we have visited and the Sunday Buffet is great value for money. Food hot and very tasty.Staff are so friendly and nothing to much trouble . Will definitely be returning .

Me and my family had a great time and enjoyed some exquisite food. We bought the banquet for four and it was delicious. Each dish was delicious and there was nothing left to take home. The hostess was so friendly and interesting too and the staff were very friendly. Thank you!

Eight of our family have just had a very good meal at this restaurant. We have had their takeaways previously but first time in the restaurant. The service was excellent, I forgot to get the lady's name. The food we could not fault. Definitely going back soon.

We had visited here new years eve for a number of years pre-covid lockdown. Menu was very disappointing and food ordered lacking flavour.

Three small pieces of very thin fillet steak which was also tasteless and was probably just thin cut beef cooked quick at £16.95 I wish I had seen the food hygiene sign of 3 on the way in I would have walked straight back out anyway. Never again what a load of rubbish at £67.50. At the end when I was paying I had to ask to see the bill before I payed haha as if I was gonna pay up until I had made sure the bill was right. I should have known when the restaurant had only 2 people in on a Saturday night

Amazing on every level would definitely recommend as it has wonderfully food. Left full and with brilliant flavours in my mouth

The food was really nice. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow with some of the table being served dessert whilst the rest were still on starters. It was my friends birthday and they brought the cake out for her without making sure she had eaten. She hadn't had her main yet so it was a surprise for her to be given cake. It seemed as though they wanted rid.

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to our home. The food arrived in a timely manner and was very tasty. Due to a little confusion around the menu I ordered the wrong spare ribs. I contacted the restaurant and they were most helpful and understanding. They were more than happy to exchange these for me and also was delivered the replacement food promptly. Highly recommended.

It's crucial for restaurants to ensure the safety and hygiene of their food to avoid customers getting sick. Unfortunately, my experience with Royal Phoenix was not only unpleasant but also unsafe. As shortly after ordering takeaway from there I soon became sick.For this reason, I would not recommend this restaurant and suggest that they take the necessary steps to ensure food safety in their kitchen

The best Chinese restaurant in the hyndburn area. The takeaways and very tasty always ready on time 🕰️. Service is first class and friendly. We have eaten in the restaurant too. The food is second to none. I love the hot and sour soup followed by salt and pepper chicken wings and chicken in chilli garlic sauce. The cocktails are great too and decent prices. Service is always with a smile. We will all be back to eat in again for our Christmas treat. 🇨🇳.

Delicious food and great prices for 3 courses. Very filling and not oily. Even let me change my mind on the soup since it wasn’t my taste and still let my son finish the other. Great customer service 10/10

Just had a takeaway and it wasn't nice at all! The rice was stodgy and the chicken in it was not real chicken, just that reconstituted, tasteless stuff. It's all gone in the bin and I've had toast instead!

Service was friendly but that was the only good point. Place is dirty, random children who live there are running around. Food was poor and made both myself and husband poorly. Haven’t been able to eat Chinese since we went here as it make me feel sick. Much better places locally than this.

Booked for a 60th tonight, only 7 of us, but on arrival 70th banners were up. Service was very slow, one starter brought out after 5 mins, other 6 brought out 20 mins after. Mains brought out together but service was slow. Restaurant was empty, little atmosphere and felt like the kitchen was more geared towards take outs and delivery. Food was absolutely lovely, couldn't fault the quality of the food, was amazing. Last time i went was about 10 yrs ago and to be honest, the quality of food is still as good, but Restaurant needs a bit of tlc, inside and out.

Been here many times, this time was our last. Service was appalling, staff were incredibly unprofessional, running around with family, shouting and swearing, all in the restaurant feet from your table. Not once did we get the right food that we’d ordered (got bored of sending it back towards the end). When we mentioned whilst paying that service was horrendous, the girl taking our payment simply stated ‘that wasn’t me’ yet ironically it was, along with all the other girls serving. It’s a shame as the food is good, (when it finally arrives, and the right items you’ve ordered). Good business, ran by unprofessional staff. Really let’s it down. Unfortunately, wouldn’t recommend.

Visited for a meal on Thursday 13th April, waitress was lovely, food was all first class, this place is a hidden gem. I normally eat chinese in Manchester China town but this is as good or better than any restaurant in the city centre. Salt and pepper ribs were amazing, Duck spring rolls crispy and not greasy, the fillet steak cantonese style was perfect with the egg fried rice. Will be returning!

we spent £40 and it was awful! the sweet and sour and cantonese just tasted of vinegar, the spare ribs were dry and have never seen bbq and they were swimming in oil! Absolute waste of money and will defo not be going back

First time eating here and wow! It's all about the food. Had set meal for two, me and the wife. Service was fantastic and the food absolutely delicious and plenty of it. You must try it. So friendly too.

The owner is simply lovely she was really attentive and kind to me and my partner. Best salt and pepper ribs I've had! We were the only ones in as it was a weekday but, we personally prefer a quieter environment anyway. Only thing it lacks is good disabled adaptations otherwise I would bring my mother.

We booked for a last minute birthday tea and we were accommodated. The prawn crackers were tasty and a nice welcome treat. We had sweet and sour chicken, chicken schzhuan and beef with chilli and garlic. Portions were good and the egg fried rice was tasty. The favourite were the salt and pepper ribs. They even brought out an ice cream for my husband and sang happy birthday to him which I thought was a lovely touch and really appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Went to this lovely little restaurant tonight for tea with my friend. The food was exceptional and the staff are very friendly . I asked for my dish to be spiced up and the chef did just that. It was excellent and plenty of it. Really well presented and tasty . I will definitely be back and recommend this place as a great place .

The best Chinese I have ever been to! We go every month for our monthly Chinese, it is amazing food and the staff are so so lovely. Especially the owner she is amazing! I have and would recommend to everyone. The chilli and garlic prawns are unreal and make sure you put your seaweed on your prawn crackers! 10 out of 10

I ordered the early bird menu, for one person. Very attentive staff, delicious food (hot and sour soup, BBQ honey ribs and chicken curry for £12.99), served at your own pace and the environment was clean albeit a bit dated. My new go-to place for takeaways and they deliver too.

I would've thought a Special Fried Rice dish would have rice in it! Ordered Special Fried rice with curry sauce but got House Special in curry sauce with a tub of curry sauce on the side!!! WTH!!! Edit: I ordered online BTW.

The delivery charge is absolutely extortionate. Even Dick Turpin wore a mask. I was charged three pounds for delivery the other evening for a journey of under a quarter of a mile door to door. The food was warm but not hot. I understand that prices at the pumps are as we all know expensive. But that's just profiteering in my opinion. No need for such a extra charge on top of the meal prices.

Good range of food well served. Service was excellent. Will definitely go back. Would have scored a 5 but venue looks a little tired.

Absolutely love this place...I am vegan and finally I have found somewhere in the area that caters to vegan (and its yummy) I am actually obsessed with the Tom Yum soup they do I literally dream about it 🤣 the staff are a delight to deal with as well..I couldn't recommend more highly

Went for the 4 course set meal on the early bird menu. Good sized car park at the back of the restaurant. Always a bonus not having to search for a space or pay for it. Hot and sour soup was first. I wasn't over keen on it but my brother enjoyed his. We both ordered salt and pepper ribs. Decent sized portion and plenty on the ribs. Duck with pancakes was fine. For mains I ordered Chilli and Garlic chicken. My brother got the Beef Satay. Good sized portions and no shortage of chilli and garlic on my dish. I must apologies as I have forgot the name of the waitress who served us. She was excellent. Really on top of her job even when it got busy. Friendly and regularly checked everything was ok without being intrusive. For the price I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will try again someday.

Usually good food here but ordered a takeaway last night and it arrived 1 1/2 hours later. The food had clearly been made much sooner as it was cold, the chips were soggy and the spring rolls where dried up like they had been kept warm for a length of time. Very poor fiord this restaurant . Doubt I’ll go again!!

I like the system they use for the Sunday buffet. You order what you want from a menu, this way the food is hot and fresh unlike some other buffets. Plenty of choice. Friendly staff

Ordered from here last night and was very disappointed. I had the salt and pepper box , the chicken pieces and chicken wings tasted as though they'd been marinated in a tub of salt for hours . The chips / fries were ok but are clearly cheap frozen ones . The fried rice wasn't nice and the small tub of "curry sauce" was bland and more like gravy . I could only eat a chicken wing, a chicken piece and a forkful of the rice before I had to put it in the bin as all I could taste was salt and it left my mouth very dry My mum had the king prawn curry and fried rice , she could only manage to get a forkful at then had to put in the bin as she said it wasn't nice
